Hey guys! It's been SUCH a long time, I know. And a chapter is coming up very, very soon, I promise you. For now, I'm taking the time to tell you something that's really shaken me to the core.

I just want to tell you all, that since 13 May 2018, the city of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia—my city—has been under constant attacks from terrorists. They bombed three churches, on May 13th and that resulted in 13 casualties, 6 of them being the bombers. Just today, May 14th, they bombed the police headquarters and 1 policeman died. One of the churches they bombed yesterday was the church I go to every Sunday, and I just ask for all of your prayers for my city, and for all those who died an untimely death. Casualties include two young children aged 8 and 11, both children to my parents' friend. Please, pray that they will find their peace.

Right now, before we become Catholics, Christians, Buddhists, Muslims or any other religion, let's put the fact that we're human before all that. Terrorism isn't taught or encouraged in any religion, and I believe that we can all live in peace...
