Couple days till a week then I have a big avian results chapter for y'all

For now though I made some really good grapefruit marmalade. I used red grape fruits(also one sumo orange) and I'm going to use it as a cake filling. It's not too bitter at all while still tasting very much like grapefruit. It's really strong though. Also it made way more than I was expecting, like now I have to find people to pawn some off on.

If you're curious about making some I am happy to ramble about it but I imagine most people aren't interested in reading a couple hundred words on grapefruit marmalade-

The cake I'm gonna use it on is going to be a poppy seed layer cake with ermine frosting, it's supposed to be almost like whipped cream(I haven't tried it before) I find American buttercream sickeningly sweet tbh, meringue based buttercreams are alright, but I don't actually like baked sweets much in general- I do like the challenge of making something tasty though. So I'm really excited about the flavor combination I haven't tried any kind of grapefruit baked good before.

I think I've got most of my baking ramble out now, but stay tuned for more baking rants. It's like, my only hobby-
