I have never been so proud of someone as I am Avi.

He stood up for what he wanted to do to make himself happy. And did it!!

Avi was just not cut out for the hustle and bustle of the life PTX was living. It might have been fine for the others but not Avi.

What you see in the picture above is a very happy and peaceful soul. Doing what he loves to do. Being where he wants to be. And making the type of music that he loves.

I have a confession to make. One that I realized after Avi left PTX. I realized that I was not a PTX fan but an AVI fan.

I am a die-hard Country Music fan as most of you might notice with my obsession with Home Free. So PTX's music just wasn't my style.

They are a great group, I'm not denying that. But honestly, I think I just listened to them because of Avi Kaplan.

I know a lot of my followers are true Pentaholics, which is GREAT. But we all have our own likes and dislikes. But I am not a Pentaholic. I am a proud Home Fry and a, uh, an Aviholic? :)

But here's wishing PTX the best of luck with their new member, Matt Sallee.

And Avi, may your life be filled with fresh mountain air, spring flowers that are as beautiful as you, tall Sequoias and always surrounded by your loved ones. God Bless you.
