SO! Either you keep up with this book or you stumbled over here because I'm putting it up on my profile soon as I finish writing it- either way, even if you don't keep up with the series I'm about to detail here, I'd really like everyone to read this.

I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo this year- a thirty-day challenge similar to NaNoWriMo set throughout the lovely month of April.

My goal?

100,000 words.

Unlike in past years, where my success in NaNoWriMo has been almost definite, this goal really IS a stretch for me. It's 3333 words a day for thirty days on top of crew and who knows what else. It's the furthest I've ever pushed myself.

So I know the question for a lot of you sane people/newcomers must be something along the lines of why tho

and well, the first reason: 

Anyone who's been here for longer than a few months probably knows I'm a little bit crazy when it comes to writing goals.

Second, many of you who've been here for more than five minutes and read my profile page know that I write Pokemon fanfiction. In fact, the Hearts of Gold trilogy is my longest work on here by far, clocking in at around 500k words total and also has the highest number of reads.

I am somewhere in the region of twenty to twenty-five chapters away from finishing it.

This is going to be the culmination of over three years of hard work, and since the project is so long, I can't reasonably ask any of you in the audience who haven't checked it out yet to pile on the whole thing. However, I must ask your patience as my other stories are going to go into a quick dark period while I finish this book up. Since Broken Souls might not even make that 100k, I'll be back to my other books at or before the end of the month, but it will be a longer break than usual.
