Lately I find myself in a lot of the vices that once plagued me and my prevailing reason to be happy is "at least I'm not as bad as I was in tenth grade". This says very little about my actual situation because at this point I've demonized what was likely just a somewhat less than ideal state of mind into the fugue and acrimony it has come to represent. It says something about memory... does how we choose to remember ideas shape the experiences themselves when we no longer live in them? If we are our memories and past experiences, and those are warped, what does that make our pasts? A reaction, in the moment, to a loose series of events that can be rearranged to fit a narrative? Freaks me out. 

Regardless of whatever happened in tenth grade, one thing is certain, and that is that I draw way too much in class to be good for my education.

I finished Broken Souls about half a year ago now and while I have received calls for a sequel, what sticks with me more are the lovely comments I received on the last chapter. These fans were some of the most playful, most dedicated fans I've ever had, and even if I have no plans to write more Pokemon fanfiction, I am still eternally grateful for them. The characters themselves? They're resting.

They earned that.

Aluminum City by Honeycut and Mother Aluminum by 4lung are some of my Amanda songs. I have no clue how that became a thing? Like it seems right. My girl's made of metal.  Also originally her hero name was CMYK and it's totally coming back when I rewrite Deja Vu. I missed so many story beats. Good lord that book. Thinking about it leaves me itching to rewrite it and it's only been a week. I'm screaming.

so Kaehrra is really fun to draw and her name is fun to say (hurra!) but she is an anger and I would not piss her off. Someday I'm writing her book smh

I had like five dozen pics of Dusk/Emmy I had to show you guys but there's a twenty pic limit for Wattpad and most of it was crap anyways. Emmy is... okay! Huh. Hard to explain. So she's kind of like a shapeshifter, but she essentially capitalizes in irregularity in dimensions to squeeze into spaces and destroy stories. She's a space virus? A Chronaverse space virus. She was in the last chapter with the ribbons. That's her thing. She's 'blind rage'. Actually she's really just terrible. I don't even think she's canon.

So I draw all over the school thing and that was the first day of school and labor day, when I finished Deja Vu. Truly a momentous occasion. I'm posting the whole thing slowly and trying to figure out how best to start writing again I guess
