So we continue.

(Anyone who knows what the title is from gets a cookie, it's an obscure one.)

For those of you who are new and are wondering why the chapter titles never have anything to do with the actual art, it's because more often than not I make my Daily Doodle titles song titles. They're often the songs I listened to while drawing the art, so they are more related than you might have thought.

Anyhow, I was bored today and decided to create a true form amalgate... sona, for myself. Let's be real, I just wanted to design a huge friggin' monster. For those of you who are new, the amalgates are my troubled children whose name will be changed eventually. They were originally gray area fanfiction and now they're... something, but regardless, they're very dynamic characters and they're quite dear to me. They're shapeshifters who usually remain in human form but can turn into anything they please and also have a "true form" that represents their basest desires, wants, fears, and how they see themselves. I made one for myself but in all honesty it's incredibly pretentious. Well, at least it was fun to design.

She's not actually an OC, but I'm calling her Dios/Amalgam Dusk for now because she ended up looking a lot like an old coyote OC of mine.

Brief design tidbits...

-the thing above her with the wings on it is a golden ring, similar to the Ophaboros rings. It's tethered to her body by a string that attaches it to her paws and neck. 

-If those bonds were to be cut, she would die. Essentially the body is a projection of the ring.

-There are six wings on the ring, giving her the appearance of a seraph.

-There are sixty-three eyes on the inside of the ring. They're decorative.

-As for the center, with the weird light source... just don't put your hand in there. It will end up refracted across multiple dimensions.

-Jagged scar over the mouth makes it look like she's smiling.

-Freckles! 

-Long, muscular legs. She's fast.

-Three tails.

-The crown gives the appearance that she has three horns on either side, with a single horn in the middle that can be used for attack purposes, be they melee or magical.

I took a lot of elements from Vent!Rena and Dusk, but there's little bits of some of my other characters in there too. It was a fun experiment even if it kept me from getting anything done today. Luckily we don't have much homework (first day back) so I should be able to get two chapters up tonight, hopefully.

I also did some quick sketches once I was done in class so enjoy a Lilly with real weird gravity. Seriously I have no idea what's going on here.
