Ever since I was younger I was born into a powerful ancient witch family. The oldest bloodline of witches we were known a the Black Raven family. We were called that because every member of my family have black wings like a raven. But I lived a normal life. I was raised by my mother's mortal friend who my family took me in and raised me like her own. My mother gave me to her after she gave birth to me because our family was dying out. I was the youngest member of my family. My father was from a different coven. So he didn't even know about me but I looked like my father and I had his strength. He came from the Blood Demon coven. Each witch family has its own coven. The Blood Demon coven is the coven that he took over my moms coven. But since he was from the Blood Demons I had horns and supper human strength like the members of the Blood Demon coven. Each witch has different traits from their different covens. The only thing I got from mom was my beauty and my wings. I've never met my parents or any other witches. Since I finally turned sixteen years old and my power was finally manifesting itself. She moved me back to my mother's home town. So I could be around others of my kind and learn to control my power. Mortals practically worship witches so I need to be careful.

"Come on Raven." She yelled, when I woke up. I jumped up yawning and stretching. I did my morning workout. My biggest pet peeve was I had to keep my body in top condition. After I went down stairs for breakfast.

"So you excited first day that's always fun?" She asked putting my plate down.

"Ecstatic." I chuckled eating my breakfast.

"Just promise me you'll at least try to make friends please?" She asked I nodded handed her my empty plate. After a shower, dried off, got dressed, then I did my hair and makeup. I went down stairs and got my bag and mom drove me to school. I had to wear glasses to make my eyes look normal because they were violet witch only a Supreme has. A Supreme is the strongest witch like a queen or king of all witches.

"I love you mom I'll see you later." I kissed her cheek and got out. I walked into the school went to my locker put my stuff away. I walked to class and sat down. No one bother to notice me. So it was pretty boring. But when the bell rang I grabbed my change of clothes and walked into the locker room. I changed into a sports bar and shorts. I wrapped my hands with cloth and walked out. I walked into the weight room and started boxing the punching bag. When I noticed everyone watching me. I just ignored it when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. I turned to see a pair of red eyes looking at me. I froze I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. It was the first time I had ever been face to face with a vampire. When he put his free hand on my chest.

"Calm down darling your heart beating to fast." He whispered.

"She has an exceptionally amazing body but her face not so much." He said, I could feel the heat in my face.

"Stupid men you only think about looks how shallow." I said, slipping out of his grip I wasn't looking and someone through ball at my face breaking my glasses. My glasses were the only thing keeping my power from running rapid since I don't know how to control it and hiding my true identity.

"Do you realize what you have done!" I yelled running and jumping into the pool. Witch's can hold our breath up to an hour. I sank to the bottom as my body turned into my true from. My really long black hair came undone as my horns grew out. When someone jumped in trying to grab me. I pushed them trying to swim away when I felt some digging into my neck. I tried to scream but instead I got a mouth full of water and lost all my oxygen. So now I'm drowning. I push and struggle but they don't let go when I finally start feeling faint and my body feels limp. When they panic and swim me to the surface. They through me up on the ground.

"Oh my god she's a witch. Is she dead." A girl said, when someone opened my eye it was the vampire.

"Move!" He yelled and the next thing I know he starts giving me CPR.

"Come on sweetie breath damn it breath!" He yelled, after giving me mouth to mouth and pushing on my chest. Making me cough out the water. He rolled me on my side some I could start breathing easier. I kept my eyes closed.

"I would've been fine if you wouldn't of did that." I gasped.

"Come on you can't keep your eyes closed forever do you want to go into the water?" He asked acting like he was going to throw me in the water. I latched onto him wrapping my arms around his head and my legs around his waist.

"Um not that I'm complaining sweetheart but your kinda shoving my face in your chest." He informed me and I let go when I fell in the pool again. I had no choice but to open my eyes. But when I reached the surface I realized there was ice trapping me in. A witch had casted an ice spell while I wasn't paying attention. As soon as a male witch seen my eyes. He broke the ice and pulled me out. He put my head on his shoulder patting my back making me cough up water.

"There you go sweetie." He said, rubbing my back as I gasped shaking.

"Why is everyone trying to kill me today. If this keeps up I wouldn't last that long no matter how strong I am." I whispered, I was chilled to the bone and my lips were turning blue. When the vampire picked me up wrapping me in a blanket and pulled me close to him he was surprisingly very warm like a personal heater. I couldn't move I had no energy left.

"That's my girl." He said, petting my head. He sat down on a bean bag and sat me on his lap. When he put something to my lips my eyes shot open. To see him putting a cup to my lips trying to get me to drink it.

"It's medicine so you don't get sick." He said, I clenched my mouth shut when he sighed drinking it instead. Then he kissed me forcing me to drink it.

"See now was that so hard?" He asked.

"I didn't think you were going to go that far." I said, no longer able to hold up my head exposing my bare neck.

"My dear are you okay?" He asked me worriedly. I couldn't answer when he picked me up taking me to the teacher. They checked me.

"She's got the eyes of a Supreme? Do you know anything about this?" He asked, he shook his head.

"I don't know much about her I honestly couldn't answer." He exclaimed, when he checked me over.

"She's very fatigued Nikolai lay her down on the bench and get her some water." He said, he nodded. Laying me on the bench. He gave me some water by kissing me. He lifted his head. When I looked at him he pushed my hair away from my face.

"Sorry about what I said earlier I had no idea you were so incredibly beautiful." He whispered, I chuckled.

"I tend to have that effect on people. But feel special your the first person that's seen what I really look like other then my mother not even my biological parents know what I really look like." I replied, he chuckled.

"Oh really. Well ain't I luckily." He smiled playfully tickling me. I laughed.

"I give I give stop tickling me please I can't take it." I blurted. He stopped when I started coughing.

"Sorry." He said, as I rolled on my side.

"I'm fine I'm fine." I muttered.

"Are you sure baby girl?" He asked, I nodded as my fangs grew out. One other trait of the Blood Demon coven is that they have also traits like a vampire we drink blood but we can use magic like a witch. As soon as he realized this he bit his wrist and poured it into my mouth. But I clenched my mouth shut. So he drank his own blood and kissed me forcing me to drink. Making me feel better.

"There we go." He said, running his fingers up to my horns. I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck. He kissed my head.

"If you ever need any blood don't hesitate to ask?" He whispered in my ear. I nodded, sitting up he put his hand be behind my back to give me support. I leaned against him for a moment.

"You okay?" He asked.

"I got this. I'm just a bit tired." I replied, stumbling into him because my legs were shaky. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Take it slow my dear." He said, I nodded.

"Do you care if I lean on you?" I asked hesitantly.

"Of course not dear." He answered I had him walk me into the locker room so I could change.

"Just turn around I don't feel comfortable with being alone since they all know who I am." I exclaimed, he nodded turning around. While I slipped off my gym clothes.

"Is there a reason you hide it?" He asked, as I struggled to put my shirt on. But my wings were in the way.

"You know why my father and mother were both from different covens and with witches that's a no no. So even to my own kind I'm a freak." I said, when someone fixed it for me when I seen a older female witch behind me.

"Having trouble." She teased, when he glanced back to see who it was till he seen I was still dressing. We laughed when he turned bright red and spun around.

"Thanks I'm Raven." I replied.

"Aww your so cute. I'm Rose. I'm glad your our new supreme and not Kate like we all thought." She smiled.

"Really?" I asked.

"Ya but turned out she was a fake good thing to cause she was a trip and not to ease drop. But just because your different doesn't make you a freak. The old geezers are just stuck in the past." She assured me.

"Thank you Rose I was going to say the same thing." He said, when I slipped my pants on she held my wings for me so they didn't get in the way.

"Thank you." I said, pulling my black hair back into a pony tail. Then I walked over to him and he picked me up.

"Rest now my dear." He said, putting his hand over my face making me go to sleep. When I awoke I was laying in an unfamiliar room on a huge bed. I glanced around and let out a deep breath. Since I've lived an average life I was a total book worm and watched a lot of TV in other words I was a total nerd.

"Totally disappointing he couldn't be anymore predictable. Every prince on a white horse steals his maiden and locks her away in a tower. How much lamer can he be." I groaned. Then I lazily got up to look out the window when I seen that I was in his clans territory.

"Great if I leave I die if I don't I die. Hmm what are the odds of that. He could have at least tried." I sighed, putting my head down on the window seal. I looked down when I heard the door open.

"A witch why would his majesty need a witch he has plenty and why keep this one in his quarters." I heard a man say. I froze as soon as I lifted my head and seen the red eyes reflecting off the glass. I turned around when he turned the light on.

"Well I'll be damned it's a Supreme no wonder he's keeping her here." He muttered to himself walking closer as I backed into a corner. When he sank his fangs into my neck. I woke up moments later Nikolai lifted his head.

"Are you alright my dear?" He asked, I nodded. He bit his wrist letting me drink from him. Then he picked me up setting me on the bed I was to weak to move. But my clothes were drenched in blood so he took them off wiped the blood off me. Then he slipped new clothes on me, laid me down and covered me up with the blanket.

"Now baby don't leave this room? Its to dangerous for a witch. You can only come out when I am with you." He exclaimed, I nodded. He pushed my hair away from my face and kissed my fore head. When I noticed he had bandaged my neck. I reached my hand up when I seen a ring on my ring finger. The diamond was the same color as my eyes. I looked at him questioningly when he lifted my hand kissing my finger he put the ring on.

"I don't plan on handing you over to anyone." He whispered in my ear.

"By the way I tracked down your biological parents I wanted to have their blessing when I marry you. Plus someone has to walk you down the aisle." He said, I cupped his cheek.

"You found them how I've been trying for years? Did you talk to them?" I asked, he shook his head.

"I sent them a letter to get them to come here? You can watch through this though just don't speak or they'll hear you." He said, handing me a laptop. I nodded and he left.
