Following behind Bruce, Tala frowns. What had made him so mad? Why does she want to help him so much? These questions swirled around her head, but she didn't put too much thought into it. Maybe it was her natural instincts, her ability is to shapeshift into a giant wolf. Even if she is not herself while a wolf, Tala is fiercely protective and loyal to those she cares for. Her team are apart of these select few that she is willing to protect with everything she has. The old Avengers are now apart of her team and this protection applies to them.

"Hey! Wait up!" She yells as Bruce goes to shut the lab doors, which she does not have a password to. He turns back to see a women with big doe brown eyes. She has a cute smile perched on her lip and seemed to have this air of innocence surrounding her. She approaches holding out her hand. "We haven't officially met yet, I'm Tala." Bruce stares at her before grabbing her hand.

"Bruce Banner." He says with a shy smile.

"Oh, I knew that.... I am a huge fan of your work and I am very excited to be working closely with you in the lab." Bruce cocks his head to the side raising an eyebrow. "I've never been much of a fighter, don't want to hu....." Her voice wanders off, a dark look overcoming her face.

"Don't worry..." Bruce comforts putting his hand on her shoulder. "I don't want to hurt people either." He finishes pulling away. Maybe I have a lot more in common with this girl than I thought, Bruce thinks to himself. Before even thinking about it, the words flood out of his mouth.
"Do you want to come in thr lab?" Immediately she perks up, unable to deny a opportunity to enter THE Bruce Banners lab her shared with THE Tony Stark. She nods vigorously, he gives a slight chuckle at the younger girl. The two walk into the lab and Tala's eyes light up. Not that she hasn't seen all of this equipment, no she has her own lab with all the same things. This is different though. It is the Science Bros lab. A lab where discoveries were uncovered. This was amazing. A dream come true.

Bruce leads her over to a table covered in a bunch of papers and two chairs, they sit down facing each other.

"Okay, so I don't know much about you other than your name. So how about we play a game. I ask a question, you answer, then I answer the same question. Then you ask a question, I will answer, then you answer. And so on." Bruce suggests, Tala nods. A little nervous of where this could be going. "What's your favorite color?" To Bruce it seemed like a simple enough question, but to Tala it was the million dollar one. She loved every color, and it was always so hard to choose just one.

Biting her lip she comes up with an answer. "Green." This causes Bruce to let out an involuntary laugh, she raises her eyebrows at him, and he quickly recollects himself. "So what about you? What's your favorite color?" She asks with this playful smirk.

"I have always loved icy blue." She gives him a look, but decides not to question it. Who was she to judge what colors he liked?

"Okay, so my question is what's your favorite book?" He gives a thoughtful look before coming to a conclusion.

"Harry Potter. Seemingly childish, but I love it anyways." Tala's mouth goes wide before she exclaims.

"Me too!" He shouts looking at her with a wonder.

"I have always loved the story and how it was more based off of strength of friendship rather than love. But I still think Harry should have named his kids after Molly, Hagrid, Arthur, and Remus." Tala rants, Bruce's eyes light up before he jumps in and begins ranting as well.

"You are right. I love Albus and Severus, but everything they did had ulterior motives. Hagrid was his first friend. Molly and Arthur were his parental figures. Remus protected Harry, died for a better world, and dealt with being a werewolf. Those things should not be overlooked." Tala cuts him off, the game temporarily forgotten.

"Yes, then again Harry technically has a kid named after Remus. Teddy Remus Lupin. He raised him, so I guess that should count." Bruce nods along.

"That is true, but Arthur, Molly, and Hagrid should be given some credit. They truly did care for Harry." Tala squeals happy to have another potterhead on the team. A wide grins finds its ways onto Bruces face.

"Alright continuing on with the game. Where are you from?" He asks. Her eyed gloss over, she sighs sadly.

"Don't know. My parents abandoned me as a baby in an alley way in New York, wrapped in a blanket from California. So I know I was born within those states. Shield recognised something special in me, so they took me in. They basically raised me, particularly Phil." Bruce smiles reassuringly. "Well, the past is the past, can't change it." She breathes out, wringing her hands together on her lap.

"Because I know I am going to have to answer. I am from a town in Ohio. Nothing dramatic there." He says leaving out a pretty big chunk; it's not that he didn't trust her. He just wasn't ready to share that part of his life.

Suddenly a head pops into the lab, the two turn to see Tony.

"Alright you two, time to meet everybody officially. Apparently Danni makes some good Italian food." That gets Tala's attention, she loved whenever it was Danni's turn to cook. Tala could barely make toast without a smoke alarm going off, so when it was her turn to make food, she always got takeout. Isobel made some crazy good burgers and made in America dishes. Andromeda was a pro when it came to sea food. Declan was a whiz when it came to Hispanic foods. Ashton was skilled with just about anything. Then there was Tala.

"He really does... You're lucky you came today, if you would have come tomorrow, you would be eating takeout. I can't even make toast." Tala says skipping to the door. "By the way Bruce. We never finished our talk." He nods knowing that she is going to want to continue later on.

Alright, so I am going to get straight to the point so no one has to wonder. Bruce and Tala have an older brother, younger sister relationship. There shall never be anything more than friendship. No romance. Hope that is okay. Also please spread the word about this story. I have a lot coming up and would love it if more people were reading.
