Before the chapter starts... thought you might like some visuals, to help you imagine yourself in the scene... Also, please note that there is no Vision in this book because I feel overwhelmed if I have too many characters, so JARVIS is still the A.I in Avengers tower.

Your luxury bathroom!! I hope you like all of these, feel free to imagine stuff differently if you dislike it, this is just a basic idea.

On to the story...

You woke up and stretched in your big comfy bed, courtesy of Tony. "JARVIS, please can you open the curtains on my bedroom window?" You requested the A.I kindly. "At once Miss L/N!" The gleaming white curtains opened to present a large view of the city ahead, there was beautiful high rise buildings mixed with the greenery of the parks and gardens that surrounded them. You smiled, everyday you loved waking up to this beautiful view, and it never got old, everyday, the same beautiful scene was what filled you with joy.

However... today something was off, you frowned and checked your alarm clock which displayed time along with the date. (I'm making up a date since I don't know when NY went into lock down) Sunday 28th March 2020, Well... it was a Sunday, no work today, but still, New York was NEVER this empty, it was "the city that never slept". Shrugging,  you threw the white feather comforter off as you gently stepped onto the cold stone floor. "Why is the city so quiet today...?" You asked nobody in particular, trudging over to the large glass window overlooking the city, you placed a hand on the glass, missing the hustle and bustle of the city, the honking of the cars. JARVIS broke you out of your thoughts, "Miss L/N, have you forgotten? Today is the first day of the New York lock down." You froze for a while, then smacked your forehead, "I'm such an idiot, how the hell did I forget?"

 You walked over to your luxurious bathroom and stripped, filling the bath with warm water and immersing yourself in the water, letting yourself relax completely, you looked out the window at the quiet city. You are quite a self-conscious person, so you usually draw curtains over your bathroom window out of fear somebody may see you, no matter how unlikely it seems. However, today the city was so quiet, that you didn't really care, since the possibility seems nearly impossible. 

After your relaxing bath you wore some comfy clothes as there was no going out today :)

You checked the time in the clock, 7:24, It was pretty normal, everybody in the tower woke up super early. You skipped out of your name and into the elevator, "Hey, J, can you take me to the kitchen please?" You requested

"At once Miss L/N" came the kind reply.

The elevator came to a halt and the doors opened wide, you smiled, seeing all the avengers  hanging around the kitchen, Steve was by the stove (hehehe why do I find that phrase funny) flipping pancakes, Wanda was helping Steve, Bucky and Sam were arm wrestling, Sam being an idiot for thinking he could beat Bucky's metal arm. Tony and Pietro were teasing Sam for losing, Nat was pouring coffee into everybody's mugs and Bruce was sitting quietly in the corner reading a book that had at least 2000 pages. Thor was sitting with Clint on a bar stool, an amused look on his face as Clint tried to life Mjolnir.

Nat saw you first and grinned widely at you, "Morning kitten!" Everybody looked at you, smiling wide. "Hey guys!" you greeted stepping out, "Want some pancakes Y/N/N?" Steve asked. You nodded and smiled, "Yes please, that'd be great!" You walked over to Bruce and sat on the couch next to him. "Hi Brucie!" you chirped, he sighed "I told you not to call me that..." he paused and smirked at you, "...Curie" You groaned and everybody burst into laughter. "Woah! I totally forgot about that nickname!" Peter laughed, everybody turned to look at Peter and Loki who were standing in front of the elevator. "Oh hey reindeer games! Hey kid! When did you 2 get here?" Tony said. Loki rolled his eyes and stepped forward, "Just now actually..." he then turned to you, "What is this... Carrie?" he inquired,  Tony scoffed, "It's CURIE, and SHE is not referred to as 'this' she discovered radium." Loki raised his eyebrows quizzically, Bruce sighed dramatically and placed his book down, "She was a really smart lady to be frank, just like Y/N here." He said smiling at you as you huffed.

"Breakfast!" Wanda announced, placing several plates on the table with her powers. The breakfast looked ABSOLUTELY amazing and everyone's mouth watered at the sight of the pancakes on the table. "Well, what are you waiting for? Dig in!" Steve said, taking off his apron Tony had given him for mother's day that said 'America's Ass'. You all didn't need to be told twice, and legit jumped on the food, relishing it.

After breakfast, you and Peter were in the lab together, Peter was making some of his web fluid, even though he wouldn't need it anytime soon, and you were hacking into S.H.I.E.L.D's files. You did this quite often, nobody knew except Peter, and frankly nobody except Fury, Coulson and Hill would care. Suddenly, you snickered and Peter raised an eyebrow as he glanced at you, and went back to work, "Hey Pete, did you know Nat has been scared of spiders ever since she accidentally ate an entire spider family that had made a home inside her burrito leftovers?" Peter looked up surprised, a huge smile on his face, "S.H.I.E.L.D had that kind of information?" You nodded, still giggling playfully, "Yep, they know EVERYTHING about all their agents." Peter stopped whatever he was doing and walked over to you, "Let's see what they have about the avengers! Then we can blackmail them!" he suggested. Your eyes widened, "GREAT IDEA PETE!!" You went straight to Tony's file, "Pete, you have to see this! Look at your little 'role model'." Peter shrugged and read out loud what was on the screen, "Tony Stark, Level 37 agent... typical boring stuff Y/N/N..." he frowned. You shook you head and pointed at a line on the screen, he read again, "The J.A.R.V.I.S installed in his phone called him 'daddy' while in high school." You two burst out laughing and rolled around the floor.

Tony and Bruce burst into the lab and looked at the two figures rolling on the ground, laughing so hard that their voice box could be popped. Bruce cautiously looked around the room, and his eyes 'accidentally' landed on your computer, he walked over and read Tony's whole file, then snorted.. like genuinely snorted, he then turned to Tony, "Dang Tony, you take your kinks seriously..." you and Peter laughed even harder and you had never seen Tony flush that much before...

*Time skip brought to you by Thor singing 'I'm a barbie girl' while tap dancing*

After a delicious lunch of lemon chicken courgetti, you and Peter thought it'd be fun to go prank the avengers... of course you suggested the idea, and Peter thought you were crazy for thinking of pranking everybody, including the god of pranks himself. Then you instantly burst into a speech about how he was your best friend, and he should have your back yada, yada, yada... Eventually , poor Peter agreed, but only because of the BFF's code of conduct.

This is how you and Peter ended up in the kitchen baking several cupcakes,  for the avengers. "Ummm... Y/N?" Peter said, "Yes?" you replied while pouring the batter into trays. "Don't you think it'd be a bad idea to prank Dr.Banner?" You froze, contemplating, "Yea... that wouldn't end well Pete, we'll just give him a normal cupcake." You told him. Peter nodded and continued with what he was doing. What were you two up to exactly? You would bake cupcakes. Seemingly innocent, delicious looking cupcakes and give them to everybody, however, these cupcakes would be covered in a very special frosting; toothpaste. Of course you and Peter had cupcakes for yourselves too, so that it wouldn't seem suspicious when you went around giving everybody their cupcakes. You decided to make a normal cupcake for Bruce as well, so he wouldn't become angry at your prank and hulk out.

You both collected your trays of beautiful looking cupcakes and held one tray each as you proceeded to go to the training room, where hopefully Clint and Nat were. Sure enough, entering the training room, Nat and Clint were sparring and just your luck, Steve and Bucky were there too. "Hey everyone!" You and Peter greeted as you approached them. Clint smiled, seeing the cupcakes you brought, "It's our favorite kiddos! And they brought cupcakes!" he exclaimed merrily. Everybody stopped what they were doing when they saw you, and came over beaming as you and Peter handed all of them a cupcake each. Still grinning, they all took a large bite, and almost simultaneously they all frowned and stopped chewing, their faces paled. You decided to have a bit more fun with them, "Y..you don't like it do you?" you asked sadly, looking down at the floor and fiddling with the sleeves of your hoodie. Clearly, the 4 adults didn't get that it was a prank and turned to you, "Oh no no! Darling it's wonderful!" Bucky lied right through his teeth, not wishing to hurt your feelings. The other 3 all nodded in agreement, yet pained expressions still evident on their faces. You and Peter grinned at each other and walked out of the room with your trays, "Thanks guys! Enjoy the rest of your toothpaste cupcakes!" Peter snickered as he walked out the room with you. The rest left in the training room, looked around at each other, "Toothpaste cupcakes?" Steve whispered, Nat nodded, "They... pranked us..." she murmured.

You and Peter ran towards the lab to get to your next victim... You burst into the lab startling Tony and Bruce who looked like they were setting up for an experiment, you had Bruce's normal cupcake in your hand and gave it to him and Peter pushed Tony's cupcake eagerly into his hands. "We baked cupcakes!" Peter joyfully announced, "We can see that..." Tony mumbled, too busy admiring the cupcakes. "Try it! Go on!" You urged. Tony and Bruce eagerly took a bite out of their cupcakes, and while Bruce devoured his, Tony took one bite and his face paled, he looked like he was going to hurl right then and there. "It's amazing! Thank you kids!" Bruce said happily, as Tony just stood in shock looking at you two, "No offense kids..." he began "But it tastes horrible... like... like toothpaste" you shrugged at least he's honest you thought. "That's because it IS toothpaste frosted." You informed him, as a sly smirk graced your features. Tony dramatically gasped and dropped the cupcake as Bruce uneasily stood there, "So... what I just ate... and LIKED was a toothpaste frosted  cupcake?!" Bruce exclaimed. Peter shook his head , "No, we decided it was a bad idea to prank you, so yours was just a vanilla icing frosted one, Mr.Stark on the other hand..." he trailed off and fidgeted as Tony looked back and forth between you two. You gritted your teeth and dragged Peter out the room as you heard Tony crying in agony and Bruce trying to comfort him, but chuckling at the same time.

Laughing, you both ran into the elevator and you pressed the button for the kitchen. Peter raised an eyebrow at your choice of a floor and you shrugged at him, "Thor is likely to be in the kitchen getting pop tarts..." you said. Peter nodded and you got off the elevator with with your friend in tow. Sure enough, the god of thunder was near the toaster, feasting on strawberry pop tarts along with a certain witch and speedster who were playing red hand (if you don't know what it is, basically people put their hands flat on the table and hit another persons hand as hard as they can, and if you say "ow" or "ouch" or something like that, your out). Thor saw you two and yelled, "Ah! Younglings! Come feast on pop tarts with me." You and Peter shook your heads, "Actually, we got you guys some cupcakes we baked." You said in a jolly tone. "Ahhh, that's why there's cake batter in the sink!" Wanda told herself. Peter nodded and handed everyone their cupcakes as they excitedly took a large bite. At the first bite, they looked around at each other, as pained expressions grew on their faces. Pietro immediately dropped the cupcake and ran off somewhere, Thor looked disgusted and said to you, "These do not quite taste like the cakes of cups that Lady Romanoff made a few days ago..." you pretended to look hurt and offended, and Thor instantly felt guilty, "Um... but in a good way!" You put on a big smile and so did Peter as Thor  finished off. But Wanda was a mind reader, so there was no way that she fell for your tricks, she gasped, "You put toothpaste on the cupcakes?! That is so mean... funny... but mean!" She angrily exclaimed. Thor looked shook, "Why...Why would you younglings put the paste of tooths in such a delicacy... I shalt go back to eating pop tarts, at least my tastebuds shalt be happy." He sadly proclaimed and turned back to his pop tarts. You turned to look at Wanda and saw her eyes glowing red, "Oh shit, Wanda NO! WE'RE SORRY!" Peter and you screamed in a hurry as Peter did some quick thinking and wrapped an arm around your waist as he shot a web and swung far away, to escape Wanda. Luckily, behind you heard Wanda laughing loudly, Thor joining her chuckling deeply. Peter looked at you, "We weren't the only ones that decided to play a prank..." he said.

You and Peter stumbled in front of the library door, giggling as you were so high on the adrenaline. "Okay, now Loki should be in there, we prank him, then bust out, or else he'll kill us." You explained to Peter. He nodded and the pair of you were about to head into the library, when you heard a chuckle behind you, slowly turning around, you met a pair of emerald green eyes belonging to the god of mischief himself. "You really didn't think you could successfully prank ME? Did you?" He asked, a victorious smirk on his face. You and Peter gulped as Loki continued, "You were right about one thing, I would definitely kill you if you even THINK of pranking me... so I give you 5 seconds to run". Peter quickly shot a web and swung both you and himself to safety... for the second time today.

You and Peter were dreading dinner as it was a time that everybody could get back at you for your mischief. Not to mention, Loki still wanted to kill you both. Walking over to dinner, you saw that everybody had already assembled at the dining table and as you and Peter walked in, they smirked at you two and had already made you uneasy. There was a delicious looking home made pizza on the table in front of you, but you knew not to be deceived by appearances after all, the crust could be play-do and the cheese could be wood glue. You cautiously took a small bite, and when you were certain everything was alright, you signaled Peter and he tucked in too. Dinner was so awkward for the pair of you, you kept glancing at Peter who was across the table from you and you couldn't look at anybody else since they just smiled really big at you and made you uncomfortable. The whole time, everybody on the table ate silently, staring down the pair of you.

At the end of dinner, you silently opted to do the dishes as Peter inquired the group of heroes, "You didn't mess with our food... and we definitely know that you mean to prank us back, so what are you going to do?" Everybody looked round at each other, and nodded as if coming to a silent agreement. "See kid, the messing with your food trick was out of the question, you would've already suspected it." Tony told him. "I would've killed you, but all of these boring mewling quims threatened to make me suffer if I did." Loki said. Both of you shuddered, but were grateful to the avengers. "So we decided, that our 'prank' would be to make you think we were plotting something against you, so that you'd feel cautious and uncomfortable all day." Nat smirked. 

You and Peter shared a look, and turned to the smiling avengers like they were insane. "That's kind of a dry prank ... if it's even a prank." You informed them. Thor smiled, a little too brightly, "Yes Lady L/N! Which is why we decided to make it a bit more wet!" He announced. You frowned, and in the corner of your eye you could see Peter frowning too, "What do you mean...?" Peter pryed on. Suddenly Tony cupped his hands around his mouth  and yelled, "JARVIS! Now!" You were still so confused, "What the-" you didn't get to finish as several buckets of water suddenly got dumped on you and Peter from an opening in the ceiling that your assumed was JARVIS' doing. 

You looked up at the avengers who were laughing and high fiving  each other, you and Peter looked at each other and grinned too. You ran at the avengers and tackled them all in a hug as they screamed and fell on the floor. Laughing you tackled them and the water from your own clothes made theirs damp as well. They were all still laughing so hard, so they didn't even bother to get up. After a while everybody got up and collected themselves. "Bedtime kids..." Bucky told you, you and Peter frowned, Nat wrapped an arm around your shoulders and guided you to your room, as Clint did the same for Peter. "Goodnight kitten! Make sure to change out of those damp clothes and get into your pajamas soon, or you'll catch a cold." She urged, pushing you gently into your room. You nodded and grinned at her as you closed your door to go get ready for bed.

I quite like being in quarantine...
