Requested by Capsbestgirl. Hope you don't mind I'm putting a bit of a twist on the requested plot. It should end the same way though! :)

You were one of the newer Avengers after the Ultron incident struck. You loved being on the team, except for Steve Rogers.

He would always have a solemn mood around you, and it would drag you down. You couldn't figure out why, but one day you were sick and tired of it and decided to confront him.

"What is your problem?" You blurt out at him, when he turns around towards you.

"My problem? I'm not the twenty something year old girl willing to risk her life when she has a full life to live." Steve begins, steaming you up.

"So that's what you're mad about? I chose this path! Believe me if I thought I would get hurt, I wouldn't have joined in the first place!" You nearly yell at him.

"You may not think you'll get hurt, but believe me when the time comes and you're the only one standing alone fighting against four men, see how well that'll work out."

You remain quiet, gritting your teeth.

"Go ahead, ignore me. Suit up for your mission, we leave in five." Steve commands, walking off.

You were storming HYDRA's old base, where they were supposedly keeping hostages. All you wanted was to not be a part of Mr.I'mOverProtective's team. You wanted to be part of the aerial crew, but no, you were placed here.

"Alright," Steve begins, "our mission is to rescue hostages."

You all disperse to get ready. You notice Nat approach you.

"Hey Blue. You know you usually don't make it this long without making a clever remark. Something up?" Nat asks.

You just shake your head. "It's nothing."

You load both of your pistols, and continue to run off the jet. You knock out two HYDRA soldiers, and dodge a bullet from another.

It is not long until the crew and you clear half the field.

"We should be approaching the hostages soon. Blue, you know where to go." Natasha reports through her intercom.

You run further forwards as the large run down building comes into view.

You pick the lock of a rusty old door, and manage to break it open. However, you meet face-to-face with a HYDRA soldier pointing a gun at your head.

"Going somewhere?" He asks with a slight chuckle.

Before you know, the colors red, white, and blue flash before you, and it knocks the man out. Though he still shoots you in the arm while you have a chance.

You manage to shoot with your non-injured arm, and take out the remaining soldiers. You rescued the hostages.

"Thanks for that." You comment to Steve as he unties the hostages.

Steve says nothing back but nods.

You were packing up your bags, when Steve peeked in.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm leaving the Avengers. I thought about your words, and put them into consideration." You huff.

Steve almost looks slightly shocked and worried. "Look, I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I just meant you should be careful, and obviously I may have underestimated you." Steve apologies.

"May have? Did have underestimated me!" You laugh, "But it's alright, I accept your apology."

"So you'll stay?"

"Of course I will."

And with that he pulls you into a passionate kiss.

Yeesh I kind of went overboard with that request. Oh well! Sorry if it's not what you wanted, I tried fitting the plot in with this!

I kind of thought of the Sam Smith song "Stay With Me" when I wrote that last part. Did anyone else?
