Clint Barton/ Hawkeye

Poor Valentino had an ear infection. He was absolutely miserable and you felt horrible because you couldn't do anything to comfort him. He whined and squirmed as you put the medicine in his ear.

"Shh, shh, I know baby. This will help it get better," you cooed. Meanwhile, you could hear Clint talking to Bernard outside the room.

"Hey, buddy. What'cha up to?"

"My pay wif Tino."

"Sorry, pal, Tino's really sick." Bernard sat down started crying.

"My wanna pay wif Tino!" he wailed. It broke your heart to see your babies like this. Clint picked him up to comfort him.

"I know, little man. Daddy will play you until he gets better, okay?" Bernard sniffled.

"We pay wif doggy?"

"Yeah, we can play with Lucky." Clint went to the backyard to find the dog. At least Bernard had someone to play with while his brother was recovering.

Tony Stark/ Iron Man

Tony was working on a project while you were in your studio. Starla was in her playpen and it just so happens that today; she figured out that she could actually climb out of it. Tony had dropped a glass on the floor and told Dum-E II to clean it up; only, the robot hadn't gotten to it yet. Tony was suddenly alerted to his daughter screaming. He spun around to see her standing in the broken glass. Tony rushed over and picked her up.

"Dum-E! I told you to clean that up! F.R.I.D.A.Y., get Y/N and tell her to meet me in the kitchen."

"Right away, boss." Tony carried her to the kitchen and placed her on the counter while he got the first aid kit out. The first thing you heard was your screaming child.

"What happened?"

"She must've escaped out of her playpen and stepped in the glass I dropped. Can you hold her while I look at her foot?" You held Starla while she cried and squirmed. Fortunately, she only had a tiny splinter and Tony was able to remove it. He kissed her foot and she started to settle down.

"Okay, Missy. My next project will be Starla-proofing your playpen."

Pietro Maximoff/ Quick Silver

Since the girls both had super-speed and were still learning how to control it, knee and hand scrapes were quite common. You had to have them fitted kneepads in their clothes. They still got scrapes on their hands though.

The triplets were all sick with a cold so you and Thor really had your hands full. Having three snuffly babies meant that you couldn't go anywhere until they got better. Usually when you got two of them to settle down, the third one would get fussy and disturb the others.

Sam Wilson/ Falcon

One of Audra's favourite games to play was when Sam lifted her up into the air. Sam was playing this with her but failed to notice where he was lifting her and accidently bonked her head.

"Oh, no! I'm sorry! Daddy's sorry!" She fussed a little but didn't cry. He kissed the top of her head. Sam felt absolutely horrible when he saw the bump that had formed. He thought that you would be mad at him for hurting your daughter but you knew it was only an accident. Sam still felt really bad about it though.

Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow

Anastasia had chicken pox. Nat had to tape gloves to her hands so she wouldn't scratch.

"But it's itchy!" she whined.

"I know, sweetie, but this salve will help your skin get better," Nat said, applying it to the red dots. Unfortunately, you were away on a mission so Nat was left on her own to look after your daughter.

"I'm bored. Can we go to Uncle Clint's?"

"No, we can't."

"Why not?"

"Because you're sick and you don't want to get the boys sick, do you?" She shook her head.

"But I'm bored. When's mommy coming home?"

"Soon, but for now, you should get some sleep. It'll help you get better faster."

"Okay, Mama." Anastasia lay down and closed her eyes.

Bucky Barnes/ The Winter Soldier

You and Bucky had taken Vincent to the playground. Being the headstrong child that he was, Vincent started climbing on the big kid's equipment. He didn't get very far before he fell off, scraping his chin on the ground and putting his tooth through his lip. You ran over to him and picked him up and he started crying; not because he was hurt (which he was) but because you wouldn't let him back on the playground. Bucky had to drive to the hospital because you were too hysterical.

"Who's so brave? You're so brave," you cooed, holding your son. "Oh, Bucky, this is all my fault."

"Y/N, you can't blame yourself. Kids get hurt all the time. Vinney's gonna be okay." You nodded and Bucky kissed your temple. Vincent was up and playing again within the hour.

Scott Lang/ Ant-Man

You and Scott were watching the kids play in the back yard. You went inside to do something and the next thing you heard was an almighty shriek. You raced and saw Lillian rushing up to you while Cassie was carrying a screaming Luke.

"We told him not to go near the ant nests!" Scott ran over to the ant nests and saw the hoard of angry bull-ants flooding out.

"Girls, get inside!" he ordered while he tried to make the ants settle. You took Luke inside and went to find something to soothe the sting. Poor little Luke was not happy at all.

When Dakari got sick or hurt, he had the best carers to help him to get him well again. You usually stayed by your son's side until he got better.

Steve Rogers/ Captain America

Fortunately one thing Sarah inherited from Steve was a high immune system due to the super-serum. However, when a bug did get in, it hit hard. She was running a high fever, refused to eat and all she wanted to do was cling to you or Steve. He held her to him, trying to cool her down and you opened the bottle of medicine for her. Steve took it from you and tried to give it to Sarah.

"No! Icky!" she whined.

"Please, sweetheart. One for daddy." She shook her head. Steve sighed in defeat. You pinched her nose shut and when she went to take a breath through her mouth, you gave her the medicine and she swallowed it in surprise. Sarah started crying.

"I'm sorry, baby, but you'll feel better soon." Sarah cried until she exhausted herself. Finally, Steve was able to put her down in her crib for a well deserved sleep.

Loki Laufeyson

You were baking cookies. When they were done, you took them out, left them out to cool and went to do something else for a while. Smelling the cookies, Alexandria toddled into the kitchen reached up and touched the hot oven handle.  Hearing her cry out, Loki raced in and saw her sitting on the floor holding her injured hand.

"Darling, what happened?"

"It burneded me!" she wailed. Loki took her small hand in his and cooled it down. Alexandria started calming down. When she was calm enough, Loki went to get something to soothe the sting.

Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch

You and Wanda had taken Evangeline to the park. She happily ran around, picking up little 'treasures' like feathers, pebbles or even bottle caps. She ran up to Wanda with her latest find.

"Pity leaf!"

"Oh, Evy, that's poison oak!" She soon dropped the leaf and started scratching her hands.

"Itchy!" You quickly picked her up.

"Come on, let's get you home." You both headed to the car. Evangeline was really upset and uncomfortable by the time you got home.

Bruce Banner/ Hulk

As Bruce was a doctor, he knew exactly what to do when Robert got sick or injured. He was very gentle with Robert and managed to stay calm, even when Robert was screaming at the top of his voice. Yes, it could stress Bruce out sometimes but he did whatever he could to get Robert well again.

Peter Parker/ Spider-Man

You were playing with Ben on the floor while Peter was working on his laptop. You got up to do something else and when you came back, you noticed Ben fussing with his nose. When you tilted his head back, you saw something shiny up his nostril.

"Peter!" He raced in and saw you picking up the baby.

"What's wrong?"

"Ben's got something stuck up his nose!"

"Are you sure it's not just boogers?"

"No, I can see something shiny. We have to get him to the hospital!" Peter followed you to the car. It turns out, Ben had found a coin and stuffed it up his nose.
