Your First Date
Steve: "Steve. Where are we going? Why am I blindfolded? Shouldn't I have worn something prettier? Steve? Can I take the blindfold off? Oh, why did it just get so cold? Should I have brought a jacket? Will I look like I don't fit in? What if I don't fit in? Is it a restaurant? Steve? Are you okay? Oh, now it's warm again," you rambled, extremely nervous. It was your first date with the Captain America, or Steve Rogers, your best friend. "Y/N, calm down. You'll be fine, I only wore a button-down because my other shirts weren't clean. I should've washed those... Oh, we're here!" He parked his motorcycle and helped you off it. "Can I take it off now?"
"Not yet. First, answer me this. You trust me, right?"
"Duh! Oh, wait... No. No, no, no! No, I'm not doing a trust walk, I always feel like I'm gonna die." You backed away, in the process of taking your blindfold off. He put it back on. "Steeeeeeve..." you whined. "Trust me, sweetheart. I've got you, and I'll never let you go, okay?" You smiled and began blushing heavily. "Good. Now grab my shoulders... Or, I guess underneath them's good." he said, realizing that at your height, it would've been impossible to put them on his shoulders. After he led you up, with no mistakes or tripping, he got behind you. "Voila." He swiftly pulled the blindfold off and you covered your mouth as you gasped. "Steve, it's... Thank you." He had set up a picnic in a secluded area with a quiet waterfall and animal wildlife. "You like it?"
"Oh, Steve, I adore it. But... Food!" You rushed to the blanket he'd set out and ate a simple lovely meal together. By the time you were done, it was dark, and you had a perfect view of the starry night sky. You fell asleep a couple times, and eventually, Steve just took you home. "I had a lovely time." You smiled at the doorway. He stayed silent, looking down at the ground with a proud smile on his face. When he looked up, you grabbed him in a quick hug, startling him. "Thanks, Steve. I'll definitely see you again."
"Wait..." he muttered, licking his lips while looking at yours. "May I...?" he didn't need to finish. You leaned in and upward, and your lips collided in a sweet, passionate kiss. You placed your hands on his neck and his hands found your hips. When you pulled away, you wanted more, but that clearly wasn't going to happen. He was a bright red and it got even deeper when you whispered in his ear as you shut the door, "That usually doesn't happen until the third date, you know."
(LOL old fashioned Cap kissing on the first date. He must really like you.)
Tony: "Y/N, I am standing outside your door in a three-piece suit in the middle of summer. I'm hot. Let me in?" Tony banged on your door as he spoke. "Fine!" You ran to the door with your strapless black dress being held up by only your arms and threw it open. "Zip this up!" you demanded, ignoring the beautiful roses Tony had in his hands. He sat them down on the table beside the doorway and began zipping it up. "Lovely figure, Y/N."
"Shut up, Tony." You looked away, blushing. "So where are we going?"
"Well, I was thinking I'd take you to an exclusive, upscale restaurant and then we'd go to a club and get wasted?" he suggested. "No on the latter, but I will take the food," you smiled, receiving a pout from Tony. You walked out to the limo (against your request he still got it) and he helped you in.
Hours later, you two still sat at the restaurant, laughing your heads off and making the other diners a little ticked.
"You did not! You liar," you laughed.
"It was a dare. And I was only in 4th grade. So, I mean, what I supposed to do?" he shrugged.
"You were a playboy even in elementary school!" You snickered. "Do you still think I'm a playboy?" he asked. You shrugged. You truly didn't know. "Let's just say... I have hopes."
"What that I am one or I'm not?"
"Confidential."
He playfully slugged you on the shoulder. "I've kinda changed. It's something about this girl I met. She's real sweet and I think I like her a lot more than a friend should. Not that I'm completely giving up title of playboy-extraordinaire," he smiled, looking into your Y/E/C orbs, lost in them. You started yawning as you made it further on in the night, and eventually you nearly fell asleep in your mashed potatoes. "Let's go. You're tired, and I could use some real drinks." He held out his arm and you linked up to him. "I had fun tonight, Tony. We should do this again." You smiled on your doorstep. "Of course. You know, you're a miracle worker. That girl I was talking about? It's-"
"Tony, I knew it was me, silly. Now, I'm tired, I'll see you tomorrow?" You didn't wait for a response before shutting the door in his face. "Night, then?" he yelled through the door.
Bruce: "What if I Hulk out on her? That would be terrible. Oh, Tony, I'm not gonna be able to do this, I have to cancel, I'm gonna do something terrible. It's bad enough that we have to sit with SHIELD's snipers that have their guns pointed to my head, but what if I really do hurt her, Tony? I'll never forgive myself," Bruce stammered as he got ready for your date. Tony rolled his eyes.
"Bruce, you aren't gonna Hulk out in her. It's Y/N, for goodness' sake. The Hulk gets angry, that doesn't mean he's soulless. And you're in there, you'll stop him." He nonchalantly shrugged. The doorbell rang- you were there.
"It's her, it's her, it's her, it's her, what do I do, it's her!" Bruce squeaked. Tony rolled his eyes, and gestured to the door. Open it, maybe? he mouthed and Bruce nodded, opening the door.
"Hi Bruce! And Tony. So where are we going?" you asked, unfazed by Bruce's silence. It happened a lot to you. "Hello? Is there a brain in there?" you joked, waving your hands in front of his glazed over eyes. He came out of his trance-like state. "Sorry. You look amazing, Y/N. Truly breathtaking." he said, causing you to blush profusely. You hadn't really dressed up that much, it was just a drive-in movie, anyways, but you weren't in your normal jeans and t-shirt. "And you, Bruce. Shall we?" you smiled, holding out your car keys. "You're driving." you explained. "Of course I am." he sighed- he hated driving, but not as much as you did. You made your way to the car, with plenty of suggestions for after movie entertainment from Tony, both of you simply walking out since you couldn't stop him. "The Fault in Our Stars? Uh, let's see, no. Maybe... Ooh, Jurassic World!!!" you squealed as you pulled up. You got your tickets and parked, grabbing the car speaker. "I've heard this is really good. And everyone loves Chris Pratt. He's so cute," you gushed. "He was in some other movie, Protectors of Space, or something," Bruce noted. You shushed him as the movie started. "Weirdo," he whispered, knowing you heard.
"That was awesome! Could we make a dinosaur like that? Could we bring them back? Would they die? I want a dinosaur! No, wait, I want a Chris Pratt! Bruce, that was awesome!" you fangirled in the passenger seat as he drove back to Avengers tower. "We have a guest bedroom if you just wanna stay here. It's pretty late," Bruce suggested as he pulled up. "Nah, I'm good. I'll probably never leave if I stay," you joked, somewhat truthfully. "Alright. This was one of the best times I've had in awhile, if I can say that. I definitely want to do it again, if you're good."
"Yes! Totally! Listen, I have things to do tomorrow, but I will definitely text you. I have to go. Tell everyone I said hi, okay?" you requested. He nodded and gave you a quick hug before heading inside, then getting bombarded with questions on how it went.
Clint: He kept his word, he met you at your desk right as you clocked out. "Clint. So, have you thought about where we're going?"
"Well, I was just thinking a walk through Central Park, unless you have other ideas."
"Perfect." you smiled and began making your way to the exit of SHIELD HQ. "Barton! Where do you think you're... Going?" Fury yelled from the stairway. "On a date. Duh," he stated, and simply walked out with you. "That- that- that was Director Fury! Are you an idiot?" you hissed. "Nope. I'm an Avenger. Privileges." he shrugged. You rolled your eyes and playfully slugged him on the shoulder as you began walking again. "So, TV shows?" you asked, trying to strike up a conversation. "I like Supernatural. And Nat got me hooked on..."
"On what? Tell me, or I will tickle you."
"Say what? You'll tickle me? I'm an assassin, tickling me won't- oh, noooooo stop, stop, I'll tell you!" he started laughing as you tickled him.
"What show, Barton?"
"Pretty Little Liars..." he whispered shamefully.
"I love that show! Hanna's probably my favorite, maybe Spencer! I ship Hike, too, forever!" you started smiling like a goof. "Oh, no, Emily is obviously the best. And Hanna obviously belongs with Caleb!" he said in a duh voice, starting up an argument over most of the TV shows and movies you've ever seen. "No, NineRose is the worst ship. Well, except people who ship Eleven and Rose, they never even met each other." you contradicted, strangely enjoying this elongated, stupid argument.
"I ship ElevenRose! And TenRose is just too cliché for me," Clint knowingly smiled. You slugged him for about the millionth time that afternoon-become-evening. "This has actually been enjoyable. Even though you don't ship a single good ship. And I ship all the great ones."
"Some of your ships I find disgusting," he pointed out. You jotted your number down on his hand with the pen you stole from the hot dog cart guy. "I already know it," he said, handing the paper back to you.
"Stalker," you replied, playfully smacking his arm before walking away towards your apartment.
Thor: "Tis the Great and mighty Oliver, Dog of Worlds! And his lovely owner, the beautiful Maiden Y/N," Thor boomed as you open the door to your studio. "Hey, Thor. What's up?"
"The sky. How do you not know this?"
"It's metaphorical. I'm just asking what's going on with you," you giggled. "Oh, well, I'm about to take a lovely woman on a date, and I think we must go now to keep our reservations." he smiled, holding out an arm for you to grab onto. He'd booked you a whole movie theater to yourselves so the volume could be blasting at its loudest in order for you to enjoy it. "Popcorn. Twizzlers! Oh, and I want SweetTarts and a Dr. Pepper, and everything!" you said to him in line for the concessions. "Anything for you," he smiled and paid for all your requests, leading you (and Ollie) to the theater. "What are we seeing, again?" you asked. Thor shrugged. You grabbed the ticket and "looked" at it. "Oh, yeah, it's Minions." you 'remembered.' I hate lying to him. He's just got this thing about him, it makes me feel guilty, you thought. You sat through the movie, throughly enjoying it- you used your powers throughout most of it, leaving you exhausted. "That was awesome. I'm kinda ready to go to bed, though. Take me home?" You asked him. He nodded, taking your hand and leading you from the theater. "Thanks Thor. I had a great time." you said on your building's front porch, struggling to keep Ollie from pouncing on top of Thor. "I shall see you again, milady." he said, taking your hand and kissing your fingers before opening the door for you to walk through. "I'll see you tomorrow, same time same place? Don't forget the sodas." you smiled.
Loki: "Don't say a word, I know that I look terrible." you growled as you opened the door for Loki. You dressed up for the occasion, a blue long sleeved dress with a black train. And you'd put on the cursed shoes- heels. Your slight makeup bothered you, and Loki shrugged. "Not the word I'd use, at all, darling. You look stunning, actually." You fakely smiled, not believing him. "Honest to the Allfathers!" he held up his hands in surrender. "Thank you..." you looked away, blushing. "Now, we must go before our reservations get taken."
"Anything? You're joking," you said in disbelief. "Steak, fillet mignon, escargot, whatever pleases you."
"I want it all, all that I can eat," you smiled brightly. After finishing, Loki took you back to your apartment. "Listen... It's late, do you just wanna stay here tonight? I've got the guest bedroom and blankets and stuff. Or maybe just a coffee? Because I honestly don't want this night to end."
"I'll take you up on that coffee. As long as you have cream?"
"Dang, I'll have to go buy some," you joked. He actually wound up asleep on the couch, so you just left him there and headed to your room. "Goodnight, Loki," you whispered as you shut your door.
Bucky: "Well, I was more thinking just a walk around Central Park, maybe get some hot dogs?" you suggested. "Fine with me. Let's go," Bucky said, grabbing you with his left arm to lead you out the door, sending a shiver down your spine even though it wasn't cold. "Sorry." he said sheepishly, replacing it with the other one. "No, keep it there. It makes me feel safer." You grabbed his metal hand and started running out the door, pulling him with you. You held it the whole walk, mainly to show him that you weren't afraid of him, like he thought everyone should be, but also because you enjoyed it. You enjoyed being with him, holding the hand that couldn't really feel, but you knew he liked it. "Look at the ducks. They're all in a circle. Ooh, the clouds look like an elephant, look, Buck!" you'd point out small things that would make him smile, but you mainly walked in silence, just enjoying one another. You'd gone around most of the city within a 20-block radius before you went back. He held you in his arms for a while before letting go and waving as you walked off the porch into your house.
