How You Meet

All boys will be in this chapter, I just decided to have a photo of Tony.

Tony:

You sighed walking down the street. You had to run out and get coffee for your boss, again! Your boss was strict, demanding, and downright mean, yet you stayed at your job.

You felt your phone vibrate, so you took it out of your pocket and quickly texted your boss back (with one hand).

Suddenly, you felt yourself collide with a man, and fell to the ground, only to have the hot coffee spill all over your brand new white blouse.

"I'm so sorry!" he said helping you up. "I wasn't watching where I was going."
You suddenly looked up at the man. He had the most beautiful eyes and the nicest smile you had ever seen.

You stared for a few seconds before snapping into reality, "no! It was my fault!"

"And now you have coffee on your shirt," he stated, sounding disappointed. Only then did you realize your boss was going to kill you for the stained blouse.

"Don't worry about it. It's not your fault," you stuttered, staring into his eyes.

"At least let me buy you another coffee?" he asked, trying to make it up to you.

You took one last glance at your phone and shut it off. "Sure!" you replied. You hated that boss anyways.

"I'm Tony, by the way." he said giving you a dashing smile.

"(Y/N)."

Steve:

You were waiting tables at Mel's Kitchen. You honestly hated the job, but it was the only one you could keep, so it worked.

How did your life get like this? You sighed remembering the good old days. You went to college to become a scientists, but had to drop out during your fourth year due to your father dying.

You felt the tears welling in your eyes. Now you earned minimum wage while working on a job you hated.

You directed your attention to a man sitting at a table. You grabbed a menu and walked over to him. "Hi, my name's (Y/N) and I'll be your waitress today. Is there anything I can get you to drink?" You asked.

"Um... I'll have just water, please," he replied. You quickly got his water and brought it back to him.

"Here you go. Have you decided what you want to eat yet?" You asked him, trying not to stare into his beautiful blue eyes.

"Uh... not really. Do you... suggest anything?"

The real answer was no, I hate this place, but you decided to give a real answer.

"The lasagna here is really good," you told him.

And so he ordered the lasagna.

(Mini time-skip because I'm too lazy to write him eating lol)

"How did you like the lasagna sir?" You asked while clearing the plates off the table.

"It was very good, thanks."

"I'm glad," you replied, laughing.

And then you two went on and on with conversations about new songs, TV shows, celebrity gossip (which he didn't really care for), and the Avengers.

His phone vibrated. "I'm sorry, I have to go," he explained.

"Oh, I never got your name," you said and then mentally face-palmed.

"I'm Steve. I hope I'll see you here again (Y/N)." He answered and walked out the door.

Clint:

You laughed at your friends. You all decided to make bucket lists and try to fulfill as many wishes in a year as possible. Today, you were trying archery.

This wasn't just any archery, though. You guys were trying to shoot arrows on horseback.

This learning experience featured extreme misses, falling off of the horses, and even almost killing one another.

"Why was this on our bucket list?" you asked while jumping off of your horse.

"Not because I wanted to be like Merida..." your friend trailed off.

This put the group into another round of giggles.

Suddenly, you were passed by a man on horseback. The horse was moving so fast that a cloud of dust surrounded the horse, getting into you and your friends' eyes and causing you all to cough.

"Geez. Who does he think he is?" your friend asked.

You looked at the man, who shot an arrow from the sprinting horse. Your eyes followed the arrow, to find it hit the bullseye.

"I don't know, but he's really good. (Y/N), you should ask if he could teach us how to do that," your other friend requested.

You sighed and walked toward the man, who was walking his horse back. Your friends always made you do this type of stuff.

"Uhm, excuse me?" you asked timidly, trying to get his attention. He looked your way, sunglasses blocking his eyes.

"My friends were wondering if you could show us how you made a bullseye like that?" you questioned with a bit of a flirty tone in your voice.

"Uh, sure," he said taking off his glasses, "I'm Clint."

Thor:

You were roaming around the library, looking around for a good book.

The library was your favorite place, it was quiet and lonely, and so peaceful.

You had finally found an interesting book, "Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief" and sat down at one of the back tables to start reading.

You got to a really good part, when Percy was just about to enter Camp Half-Blood but ran into a Minotaur, when you heard a yell nearby.

Your head jolted up from your book, trying to find the source of the shout.

Curious, you got up and slowly walked through the rows and rows of books that were now so familiar and comforting. Nobody was going to ruin the sereneness and tranquility of this place. Not on your watch.

You finally found an aisle of books with a man standing with a book in his large hands, surrounded by piles of other books.

"THIS ISN'T IT EITHER!" He yelled, dropping the book on the ground.

"Can I help you with something?" You asked him gently.

"I can't seem to find a certain book! I really need it. It's called 'The Constellations'." He said, quickly calming down.

"Oh, I think I know where that is. Here, I'll show you the way." you replied, leaving the pile of books on the floor.

He followed you around the maze of books until you came upon the book he wanted. You handed it to him.

"Thank you very much for helping me find this! I've been wanting to look through this for a while." He said gratefully.

"Well, I'm reading over there if you'd like to join me?" You offered.

"Sure. What's your name?" he asked.

"(Y/N)." You replied with a smile.

"Well then Lady (Y/N), I'd love to join you. My name is Thor."

Bruce:

You smiled walking to Stark/Avengers Tower. You got your dream job - being a personal assistant! Not only a personal assistant, Tony Stark's personal assistant!

Apparently, he decided that his wife, Pepper, shouldn't have to work for him as his assistant anymore but as a business partner. This opened the door for you to become his assistant.

You walked into the beautiful building and pushed the up button on the elevator, calling it to the first floor.

You entered the elevator and pushed the button for the 14th floor, which Mr. Stark told you to go to, and the elevator raced upwards. It stopped quickly on the 4th floor, where a man walked in. He was also going to the 14th floor apparently.

You two stood in awkward silence as the elevator slowed. Suddenly, it came to a stop and all the lights flashed once, then turned off.

You looked around (well you tried, but it was pitch black) and eventually gave up, taking a seat carefully so you wouldn't mess up your skirt.

You could hear the man sit next to you. He sighed, "I guess the arc-reactor powering the place stopped working."

"Yeah," you mumbled back, trying to see his face. You realized that you never actually looked at him while in the elevator, so you had no clue what he looked like.

"I'm Bruce, by the way," he greeted. You could sense his smile, causing you to smile back.

"I'm (Y/N)."

"So, what are you doing here (Y/N)?" He asked, trying to pass the time.

Since you knew it could take a while for the elevator to get running, you decided to keep the conversation going, it couldn't hurt. "I'm Mr. Stark's new personal assistant." You explained.

"Oh, that's you," Bruce said, "Tony really likes you, he only has said good things."

Suddenly, the lights flashed on and the elevator continued up. You studied his face for the first time, that way you wouldn't forget it.

The elevator dinged and you both got off, going in separate ways.

Loki:

You walked through the museum, studying all of the fossils and pictures. It was the first day in a while since you had a day off work, so you decided to take a relaxing visit to the museum.

It was surprisingly empty, but that was probably because it was the early afternoon on a weekday.

After looking through everything, you decided that it was a good idea to treat yourself to the ice cream at the store just across the street.

You exited the museum and waited for your eyes to adjust to the sudden brightness. You walked across the street to the ice cream shop located right by Stark Tower.

You stopped dead in your tracks (in the middle of the street) as you looked up at the giant hole in the sky in fear. Things you had never seen before flew out of the hole. Giant, flying dragon-esque monsters flew out of the hole at quick speeds.

You watched as the monsters flew through the sky, smashing into buildings, causing debris to fly through the air and dust to cloud the scene.

Suddenly, you found yourself surrounded by alien-soldier things. You looked around, trying to find a way out.

There was no place to go. You squeezed your eyes shut, accepting your fate. When nothing happened, you opened your eyes.

The alien things had left, and now a man dressed in very unusual clothes stood in front of you.

"Come with me, I'll show you a place where it's safe," he commanded (but in a soft voice.)

You followed him, running past the streets you once knew but now couldn't recognize.

"W-what's your name?" You asked curiously.

"I'm Loki, now hurry, there's not much time."

Loki took you all the way to a place on the edge of New York. "You'll be safe here." He whispered.

"Thank you. My name's (Y/N)." You told him as he turned around and left you still confused and shaken up. But Loki was right, you were safe there. He saved your life.
