Sleepover (BuckyxReader)

You and Bucky shared a floor in Avengers Tower.

To almost all the Avengers, this was a questionable decision.

Tonight you and Bucky had planned a sleepover in your part of the floor. You had anything planned from a movie marathon to a dance party to just messing with each other and playing weird party games that need more than two people more often than not.

You were setting out some snacks, like popcorn and M&Ms, Various chips, (including Doritos), Queso, and your homemade Eggless Cookie Dough.

Around your living room were the lights you had hung up for Christmas that you had yet to put up, even though it was mid-May. You liked them and were too lazy to take them down, so you just kinda left them up there. They set a rainbow feel in the air as their multi-colored lights glowed.

On your couch were blankets upon blankets with enough pillows and stuffed animals to create about four forts. You liked your stuffed animals and pillows. They were quite comforting.
On the floor, sleeping bags, a spare mattress and a blow-up mattress were sat in front of your huge TV, (Thanks Tony!) and a multitude of movies that rivaled anyone's collection sat ready and waiting to be watched on the coffee table that was pushed aside with the army of snacks and junk food you had ready to be devoured.

Just as you finished getting your pajamas on, which consisted of an old t-shirt and a pair of Christmas themed pajama pants, you heard a knock at your door. There was only one person that could be knocking on your door at this hour.

You ran to your door, excitement causing you to want to jump like a rabbit in bounds over to your door. You opened it quickly, seeing the face of your best friend.

"Bucky!" You laughed as he stood at your door in pajama pants and a white tank. For a second you stared at his muscles and then his metal arm then directed your attention to his ocean-blue eyes.

"(Y/N)!" He answered with enthusiasm bubbling in his voice, popping into your ears.

You hugged him tightly and he returned it, engulfing you in a bone-crushing hug. You lead him into the living room where he dropped his pillow and blanket.

"Jeeze (Y/N)! How many stuffed animals, pillows, and blankets do you have?" Bucky asked in bewilderment as he stared at your hoard that was settled on, or as he would put it, overflowing off of, your couch. His mouth hung slightly open, which made you want to stare. What could you say, it was attractive.

"Enough." You answered simply with a straight face. After about two seconds you couldn't help yourself and your face broke into a smile!

"So, what do you wanna do? We could start a marathon of movies, we could have a dance party, play stupid games, mess around with each other's hair, or whatever you want to do!" You asked with curiosity and happiness that made you start to bounce in place on your toes.

"You know, that dance party sounds like an amazing idea!" Bucky answered you. You saw something flicker in his eye, but you couldn't tell what it was.

You raced over to your stereo and asked what Bucky wanted to dance to.

"What sounds good to you?" He replied to your question, "I'm not too familiar with the newer music of this day and age."

"How about some classics." You answered as you plugged your phone into the stereo, turning on Pandora. You went straight for the Elvis Station you had created. You skipped a few songs until 'The Wanderer' came on.

"What's this?" Bucky asked as he saw you start to dance gently to the beat, lip syncing the song.

"Only my favorite song by Dion!" You exclaimed in reply, "Its a sin you haven't heard this before, you just missed this kind of music by a couple decades!" You giggled when you finished.

By now you both were dancing to the song like the idiots you were believed to be.

As Bucky listened to the lyrics he realized that it was about a guy kinda like him from the forties.

"Did you play this song because of me?" He implored as he danced around with you, "It sounds and awful lot like the old me from the forties."

"Maybe..." you left his question without a clear answer, but the huge smile plastered on your face that basically gave the answer away.

"Wow, (Y/N), wow." Bucky replied sarcastically.

The two of you kept on dancing. There were a few times when you would bump into each other. One time you bumped into him and you both fell. Your head ended up on his stomach, both of you on your backs. You were both belting laughter while trying to get up, but failing miserably. When you eventually got up, a slower song started playing.

"May I have this dance?" Bucky asked jokingly.

Oh how you wished it were real.

"You may Mr. Barnes." You reply as jokingly as you could, mocking his tone.

He took your right hand in his left, metal, arm as gently as he would a diamond.
Then he put his hand on your waist and pulled you close. The proximity, and the fact that his hand was on your waist made your cheeks flush a rose-like pink.  You looked up to his lips, wanting nothing more than to kiss them, but you held off.
Your hand found its way to his right shoulder and you began to dance all over the room, avoiding any furniture and mattresses.

"You're quite the dancer." You state as you discover Bucky's knack for dancing.

"You're not too bad yourself." He answered, seeing that you were in fact, one of the prettiest people he had ever danced with, and you were one of the best when it came to actually dancing.

Soon after, the song ended and you broke apart. Bucky looked at you for a second before the next song started up.

By the end of the song you two were more than happy that Bucky had chosen the dance party. To be completely honest, the way that he looked while he danced was more than adorable. It was a cute overload and it took all your might to keep dancing instead of stopping and staring.

The next song that came on was 'Run Around Sue'

You sang along, not missing a note.

Bucky was mesmerized by your voice. It's was like an angel's! He looked surprised for a second and you didn't miss it.

"What? Didn't know I could sing?" You posed.

"No, I didn't." Bucky answered, still amazed by the fact that you could sing flawlessly.

Then the beat picked up and you started to dance to the song about a heartbroken man, that warned the world about Run Around Sue.

You were too immersed in the song to realize that, while he was dancing, Bucky's eyes never left your form.

After a couple more songs (including Chubby Checker's 'The Twist' which was fun to teach Bucky), many, many more jokes, and one staring unknowingly to the other back and forth, you decided to start a movie marathon. It took a little persuasion, but you managed to get Bucky to agree to watch the Harry Potter movies. He had read the books already so, what was the harm?

As you were getting the movie in the DVD player, Bucky was setting up a super-mega, pillow-stuffed animal fort around the mattresses that could never quite be correctly replicated no matter who tried. When you saw the fort you were speechless. It was magnificent.

"Since when did you become the god of pillow forts?" You asked as Bucky smiled back at you.

"Have been for a while. You should have seen the pillow forts Steve and I built back in the day when we were just kids!" Bucky answered your question-turned-compliment.

"Well, I must say, I am quite impressed sir." You said in a mock fancy voice.

"Thank you m'lady." He answered in a similar fake fancy voice.

Once you both got situated on the mattresses, blankets, and sleeping bags you started watching the movie. You had grabbed the snacks and sat right by Bucky.

While you both were munching down on snacks as the first movie played, an amazingly brilliant idea hit you. So amazing in fact, that you were sure a small lightbulb appeared above your head!

"Hey Buck, you should let me mess with your hair." You suggested with your eyes still trained on the Quiddich match that was going on. Gryffindor vs Slytherin.

Bucky seemed to think about it for a second or two, then he answered you.
"Sure, what the hell!"

Your smile was a mile wide as you quickly ran back to your room to grab a brush and a couple hair ties.

When you came back Bucky was right where he was before, his back resting on the bottom of the couch. You sat on the couch right behind his head with your legs criss-cross-apple-sauce.

"Whatcha gonna do?" He asked. If you heard right there might have been a bit of fear or regret in his voice. Maybe he was second guessing himself.

"I dunno. I was either gonna curl all your hair, or find a way to braid it. It's still a little short to fit it all in one braid." You replied as you imagined a hairstylist might.

"Just don't murder my hair. Please." He said as he gave his undivided attention to the movie.

You were thinking of what to do when one of the most scathingly brilliant, lightbulb ideas you've ever had popped in your head. You soon began on your masterpiece that would be Bucky's hair.

When you were just about done you ran back to your bathroom to grab the curling iron and a couple pink ribbons. You plugged the iron in behind your couch and waited a few minutes to let it get hot.

"What are you doing?" Bucky asked hesitantly, as if he were afraid of the answer.

"You'll see, trust me, I'm not going to murder your luscious, dark chocolate, locks." You state as reassuringly as you can.

"I'll trust you, but one mishap and you'll never touch my chocolatey locks again!" He threatened light heartedly.

You giggled delightedly in response.

Soon the curling iron was heated up and you began to finish your beautiful idea.

When you were done, you turned off the iron and set it aside. You then grabbed a makeup mirror from your room and brought it out to Bucky.

"Here you are my good sir, your hair is ready." You resurrected the fancy voice you had imitated earlier, trying your best to contain your desire to holler in laughter.

When Bucky looked in the mirror he broke out into a fit of hyena laughs. He saw two, small, french-braided pigtails with pink hair ties and bows. The ends of the pigtails had been curled thanks to your curling iron.

"(Y/N), I'm never cutting my hair, and this is why!" He basically howled with laughter.

You were both laughing like crazy, witch-hyenas and making noises you didn't think possible.

By now it was time to change to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. So, you got up and changed the movie, refilling the popcorn and M&Ms in the process.

What you didn't know is that while you were walking, Bucky's eyes were trained on you rather than the title screen of the movie. He watched as your hips swayed when you walked which made him want to get up, trap you in his arms, and kiss you on the neck from behind.

When you came back he averted his gaze and looked back to the movie before you caught him staring. A heated blush flooded his face, making him look ever closer to a red rose.

You began the movie and sat comfortably next to Bucky. Your head was resting on his non-metal shoulder, with his right arm around your waist. He yearned to rest his head on yours, but he didn't.

As you two watched the movie, one would steal glances at the other, back and forth between the two of you. Neither knew. They were small and subtle, but they were there.

Somewhere near the end of the second movie, Bucky found himself staring at you. He didn't noice he was staring until he blinked a couple times. Even then, he didn't stop. Your (H/C) hair was beautiful with the moonlight from the window making it glow brighter than the ever-present, rainbow, Christmas lights. Then there were your eyes. The (E/C) irises of your eyes were like beautiful, colorful, stars that went on for eons and universes.
There was nothing about you that wasn't perfect to him.

He stopped thinking about your perfection when he felt something soft on his lips.

Then it hit him.

He kissed you.

He was too immersed in thought to realize that he had been leaning in, at least not until it was too late.

He quickly pulled away, embarrassed and unsure. He wasn't happy with himself for not asking your permission first.

"What was that for?" You asked gently. You were honestly a little bewildered, but you were happy. You had been wanting him to kiss you for forever!

"I didn't mean to! I'm sorry, I should've asked first! It won't happen again!" He defended quickly, looking down and away from you.

"Bucky... I don't mind. I kinda liked it." You replied as you lifted and turned his head to look at you.

"Really? In that case, may I kiss you again?" He asked.

You nodded without a doubt in your mind.

He moved to kiss you, and you met him in the middle. Your lips collided softly and a million sparks went off in both of your bodies, each spark being fanned into a flame that ignited your souls.
He deepened the kiss and you allowed it. Seconds later you felt his tongue run across your lower lip, begging for entrance. You happily grated it. His hands rested on your waist as one of your hands played with the end of one of his pigtails, which he had kept in, much to your delight and enjoyment. You untied his pigtails and tangled your hand in his long hair. It felt amazing to him, making him want you more. That same hand eventually found its way to his chest as Bucky started trailing kisses down your neck, making you moan quietly. You didn't miss the feeling of Bucky smiling against your neck when you moaned. Your other hand rested at his hip, messing with the hem of his tank. Occasionally your cold hand would touch his skin, making him inhale sharply multiple times. That made you smile into your kiss every time you felt his body jerk slightly. He quickly moved you to his lap when he took a breath, then resumed the kiss. You turned in his crossed lap to have your legs around his waist. The friction made when you moved caused a pleasured moan to escape his mouth. That made you giggle, then continue the heated kiss.

When you both broke to breathe you noticed that Chamber of Secrets was over, but you didn't care. Your eyes never strayed from Bucky's face.

"You have no clue how long I've wanted to do that!" Bucky said breathlessly, which, in all honesty, kinda turned you on.

"Nor I, Bucky. That was amazing!" You exclaimed, breathless as well, which didn't go unnoticed to Bucky.

"You think we should turn off the TV?" Bucky asked after a minute of sitting there, catching your breaths.

"Probably." You replied.

You got off of his lap reluctantly and turned off the DVD player and the TV. You left the Christmas lights on even though you could turn them off. It would kill the mood if you did.

When you lied down you were on his right side. You faced each other, staring at each other. Only this time neither of you were trying to hide it. It was quite the opposite.
You moved close to him and wrapped your arms around him. He hesitantly wrapped his metal arm around you, but was more comfortable when you snuggled into his chest, occasionally peppering it with kisses. His tank had been discarded a few minutes ago while you were turning off the TV. Your legs tangled together and you rested happily on the pillow next to Bucky. He rested his head on yours as he had yearned for earlier, your foreheads resting against each other. Bucky groaned unhappily when you pulled away for a second to put on some music to fall asleep to, which helped both of you, even though Bucky would have preferred you stayed in his arms. He was happy when you snuggled back into him, pressing your bodies as close together as you could. The song was Elvis Presley's 'I Cant Help Falling In Love With You'. It was perfect for the moment.

"You're the world to me (Y/N)." Bucky whispered as your eyes began to feel like weights. He watched adoringly as you tried to keep your eyes open as you spoke.

"You're my world too Bucky." You answered before you broke out into a huge yawn. Bucky followed soon after.

You fell asleep in Bucky's arms as the happiest girl on the planet. Bucky fell asleep with the most beautiful girl on the planet, and his world, in his arms. Your foreheads touched as you fell asleep, centimeters from another kiss.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You woke up the next morning next to Bucky. He was already awake, looking into your (E/C) eyes.
"Morning Handsome." You greeted as sunlight streamed into the room from the huge window in your living room.
"Morning Doll," Bucky greeted back just a happily, "Sleep well?"
"Yeah. Hey, could you do me a favor?" You began, waiting for his response.
"Sure doll, what is it." He inquired, wondering what you could possibly want of him this early in the morning.
"Stop talking."
"Why?" Bucky answered your request as innocently as possible.
"Your morning voice is too attractive." You say, slightly frustrated by his feigned innocence as you roll around on the mattress you and Bucky had slept on.
"Well, you'll have to make me stop talking then, I quite like your reaction, so I won't be stopping any time soon." Bucky laughed as he sat up to get a better look at you.
You grunted then sat up to give him a kiss.
"That good?" You asked.
"I don't know, I think I might need a little more convincing...." Bucky trailed off as he though of ways to tease you further.
You sighed, got up, straddled his lap, and planted a rough kiss on his lips.
When you breathed he looked at you and said, "Well, if that's what I'm gonna get every time, I'll just always talk to you in my morning voice."
"Don't try your luck. I was thinking of getting the duck tape." You threatened.
"Okay then." Bucky replied, looking surprised as his eyes widened. "I'll take note of that."
"You better."
The rest of the day was filled with kisses, make out sessions, cuddles and the rest of the Harry Potter movies. Neither of you could've asked for a better weekend, nor a better way to spend time with each other. It was perfect, and that's how you both wanted it to stay.
