Tony was throwing a party at The compound and all the avengers were there including Clint who hates looking formal or at least he was their until Natasha went to get a drink and then she came back and he was gone.

"this calls for drastic measures" Natasha mutters "Hawkeye is the worst avenger" She yells, this caused some heads to turn and look at her. "forgot he's deaf" she sighs and walks over to Tony and Pepper "hey Natasha what's up" Pepper asks " I need the stage" Natasha tells them "why" Tony asks "because the dumb bird didn't where his hearing aids cause he didn't want to talk to anyone" Natasha explains "ok go ahead" Pepper tells her "thanks Pepper" Natasha gives a smile.

Natasha gets on the stage and everyone looks at her and she sees his dirty blonde hair and smirks 'get your ass up here right now or I will take your hunger games books away' She signs and Clint runs through the crowd and up to the stage "hearing aids now" she signs again and he puts his hearing aids in "good now what were you doing" Natasha asks "can we not talk about it right here" Clint says eyes scanning the room "fine" she says. They get off the stage and walk to a corner of the room.

"what's up" she asks "Fury said to be on look out right" he asks "yeah" she nods "there's someone by every exit except the one leading to the pool and they aren't one of Starks guys" Clint says and she subtly looks at the exits "you're right let's get everyone outside" she tell them "Ok" he replies and they walk over to Tony and Pepper again "can you take everyone outside for a little bit to the pool" Clint asks "why" Pepper asks tilting her head "it's getting really crowded in here" Clint tells her "ok" she says not questioning them and walks to the stage with Tony following her. "so everyone we're going to go out to the pool because it is getting very hot in here" Pepper tells them "in a line single file" Tony adds and everyone starts going out the door and the guards leave the doors and start closing in on the line but Natasha and Clint get in line last and as soon as everyone is out they shut the door.

"just who we wanted to see" one of them says "oh and why is that" Natasha pouts "because our boss isn't happy with you and it's great that you were here tonight because you are defenceless" the guy says "you really don't understand what it means to be an assassin" she smirks and two of the guys pull out their guns "oh now come on big fellas is that all you got" "yeah why princess" another dude asks "you shouldn't have called her princess" Clint tells them "oh yeah why not" the guy asks and Clint shrugs "that's why" he points to where Nat had pulled out two guns and pointed them at the two biggest guys and the other two with them pulled theirs. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" Natasha says "why" a third guy asks "because if any of you even put your finger near the trigger you're all dead" Clint threatens.

The door opens and an old lady walks in and one of the guys shoots so Clint shoots all four arrows killing three and injuring one and than he runs over to the old lady who's purse got shot "are you ok" he asks "yes I am, thank you deary" She smiles "it was no problem now why don't you go back outside" Clint tells her "ok" she agrees and walks outside. Clint walks back in shutting the door and walking to the injured guy.

"I thought you never missed Hawkeye" the guy smirks "I wasn't aiming to kill you because you're the leader of this little group now tell us who you work for" Clint demands.
