Abstract : Being the wife of the winter soldier isn't easy. Steve Rogers doesn't know that his best friend has a wife. What happens when while on a mission, Steve and the other Avengers force you to surrender, how does your possesive hubby react.

You were currently on a mission, attempting to free some  young men from the clutches of Hydra, who were experimenting on them to train them to become winter soldiers juniors...

You had barely gotten them put when the building began to collapse. Using your speed you run our and run into a blue suit man with a shield.

"Not so fast Hydra agent... You so are dying" He said

"I'm not a Hydra agent" You replied.

"That's what all these agents said, miss" Said another man in a red suit made of iron.

"I'm not a Hydra agent, I'm a.. " You never got to complete that sentence since a shield came flying onto your tummy, knocking the air put of you

"Hey kid, that's my shield, it's not a Frisbee... Only I can throw it around like that" Said the blue suit man.

God did that vibrinium hurt

"You must be steve. I'm y/n , Bucky's wife" You said extending your hand, groaning due to the pain in your tummy.

"Wrong.youre a liar. Bucky is not married. " He replied.

The mad in the red suit whim you assume is iron man  readied his blaster and pointed them at you

"I mean no harm man of iron. Mr Rogers. I tell the truth, I'm Y/N Buchanan Barnes, James wife" You reply only for a red hair woman to knock you down

"No you're not, the winter soldier is not. Married. Your trying to manipulate us" She said

"Hell miss Romanoff, heard a lot about you, specially the fact that you almost choked my husband to death a few years ago" You reply.

"Shut up... Bucky is not married" Said Steve.

"He is... He is my husband. If you. Don't believe me, call him and ask " You scream

Steve nods and takes put his phone dialing it, only for it to go on voicemail

"Sorry ma'am, he ain't picking the call" He replied

You sighed. Standing up with the shield, you are about to hand it back to j when an arrow shoots you arm and you scream in pain

"For gods sake, Hawkeye, I was returning the shield to captain, if I. Wished to. Harm him I would have thrown it " You say.

Your stomach hurt from the bruise forming due go the shield and your arm was bleeding due to that arrow.

Before anyone could question you further, you saw Bucky run upto you from behind captain and stand protectivly in front of you.

"Doll, oh my gosh, your bleeding and that to because of birdmans arrow. Is that a bruise on you stomach.... Due to vibrinium" He says as he gently rubs that area before taking out a cloth from his pocket and tying it to your arm to stop the bleeding

"The fuck  punk... I thought the Avengers neber harmed an innocent person" Said Bucky staring at his best friend

"She isn't innocent, she is a Hydra agent telling us she is married to you. Tell this delusional lady, that you are not married, tin man" Said stark

"I am married. Y/n is my wife" He said

"Told you guys" Said from behind him

"You're married. Since uh when? " Asked Thor

"Since I went to wakanda for therapy. " Your husband replied.

"You married a Hydra agent? " Asked Steve and you filled your eyes.

"For gods sake I'm not a Hydra agent. I came here to free those men from. Being tortured to become the winter soldier clones. For what I'm worth, I saved all your asses from being torn by a winter soldier army. You guys couldn't handle one winter soldier years ago,how did you guys expect to handle an entire army of 100 winter soldiers with advanced serum" You say as you sat on the floor due to the pain in your stomach due to the sheild

"Bucky the only vibrinium I prefer is your arm... Not that sheild" You say groaning

Bucky crouches down next you and scoops you in his arms

"Who the hell threw a sheild at my wife" He asks , with a glare.

"Reindeer games" Said Tony.

Bucky glared at his direction only for Loki to disappear in a puff of green smoke.

"Why didn't you tell me you're married? " Asked Steve

"You never asked" Replied your husband.

"Hello guys, as much as I love talking to you, I need some painkillers... Being shot by and arrow and sheild is painful" You say

"Of course doll. Steve where in the fucking hell is the quintet.. My wife needs painkillers and painkillers she shall get" Asked your husband, not once letting his eyes roam away from you face.

All of you walked to the quin jet, well Bucky carried you there's, but you get the sentiment. He grabbed the first aid box and handed you some painkillers and water, then bandaged you up before letting you fall asleep on him, due to the side effects of them. He kissed you head before turning to the team who looked at you two in a mixture of awe and confusion.

"How did you two meet? " Asked Bruce after a while.

"Remember I said, Hydra tried to take me back during my stay in wakanda, Y/N saved me, you guys must know her but the name Phoenix" Replied Bucky as he adjusted his poster on the seat.

"She is the famous Phoenix, who single handedly destroyed 21 bases of Hydra in two days. " Asked Clint and Bucky nodded

"That's her. " Said Bucky as he sipped on the glass of water from which you had originally been drinking from

"How did you two fall in love? " Asked Steve

"She saved me, we became friends, she comforted me through the nightmares and then I proposed her, thanks happened, thanos died, I married her" Said Bucky

(Assuming iron man, Natasha, Loki , vision and Steve lived after the thanks war)

"Wow.are you sure she is the one and is not a betraying body? " Asked Steve

"I'm damn sure she is the one. What is your problem with her, Steve? " Asked Bucky sourly

"Nothing, just looking out for you" He said and he nodded

"She is the one who has a power over me, even if I go into the winter soldier mode, he kind of knows that she ain't an enemy and hence protects her. Kind of like the relationship between hulk and Romanoff" Said Bucky

"I'm sorry for shooting her" Said Clint

" You better be"replied Bucky

"We need her to work with us" Said tony

"Already works for the Avengers, fury recruited her... She was undercover, hence you didn't know her  she was going to meet you all today, she was so excited. "Said Bucky

" And how did we welcome her, by throwing a sheild and arrow at her. What a great welcome"said Loki appearing back again

"Disappear on the count of three or this time instead of a fake death, you will actually be dead" Said Bucky and Loki nodded  eyes widening with fear before leaving. No one messes with an angry husband, specially if he is the winter soldier.
