You and the love of your life, your husband, Dr. Stephen Strange, Sorcerer Supreme, had been celebrating your almost one year wedding anniversary when suddenly, The Hulk crash landed through the roof and destroyed your staircase, changing life as you knew it.

Apparently, Thanos was coming to earth and was planning on wiping out half of humanity. After a big battle,rescuing Stephen, and meeting up with a very strange group of friends, you were now on the planet Titan, trying to come up with a plan to beat Thanos once and for all.

You went over to ask Stephen what he thought about when suddenly you saw him sort of convulsing. "Stephen, what's wrong?" Stephen stopped convulsing and finally said "I was travelling to the future and finding all the different outcomes for the battle to come". Tony Stark came up behind you and asked " How many outcomes were there?".

Stephen sighed "14,605,000 different outcomes". You stared at him open mouthed. "You're kidding?" You asked. He shook his head "I'm serious". "In how many did we win?" Asked Tony. Stephen looked up at him with a sorrowful expression "Only one".

That had been a few hours ago, right now, you were fighting Thanos alongside Tony, Stephen, Quill, Peter, Drax, Mantis, and Nebula.

Suddenly, you saw Stephen be thrown across the terrain until he crashed into a pile of debris and fell into a crumpled heap. "Stephen!" You yelled out and ran over to were he was.

He was motionless, and blood was trickling down his face. "Stephen, Stephen, wake up" you pleaded. As you looked up at the battle taking place. You looked up in time to see Thanos grabbing the knife Tony had tried to use to stab him and turned it around. He charged and stabbed Tony in the stomach.

"Nooo!" You yelled out. Thanos pointed his fist with the Infinity Gauntlet on and prepared to kill Tony when suddenly you felt Stephen move. He crouched on the ground beside you and yelled out "Wait!". Thanos turned to look at Stephen.

"Spare his life and I'll give you the Time Stone" Stephen said. Both you and Tony turned to Stephen in disbelief. "No tricks?" Thanos asked. Stephen shook his head "No tricks". He then turned to make the Time Stone appear hovering over his hand and you knew that it really was the Time Stone. "Stephen, what are you doing?" You whispered. "Trust me" he said as he let Thanos take the stone.

He placed it in the Infinity Gauntlet and then teleported to who knows where. Star Lord came up and asked in disbelief "Did...did we just l-lose?". No one said anything. Tony stood up and walked over to Stephen and asked in an angry voice "Why would you do that?!". Stephen looked away and said nothing as he too stood up, supporting himself on you.

Suddenly, you felt a change in the atmosphere, a cold wind passed, making everyone shiver. Suddenly, Mantis said "Something is happening" and she turned to ash. Drax then looked at Peter Quill in shock and said "Quill...?" and he too disappeared, leaving only piles of ash. "Wha-" Quill began and then he realized he was turning to ash too and said " Oh,no... " then he disappeared too.

Stephen suddenly fell to the ground, his knees buckling underneath him. "Stephen!" You yelled in alarm, falling to your knees next to him. You saw his legs and right hand start to disappear, and you could see the fear in his eyes. "No, no, no , NO!" You said as you saw him vanish more and more with each passing second.

"Don't worry Y/N. Everything will be fine" Stephen said. "Why did you have to give the Time Stone up Stephen?" You asked him. Tony said with distress in his voice "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" He looked at you and then at Tony and said "Tony, Y/N. Trust me. There was no other way". "I love you Y/N" he said. "I love you too Stephen" you said. Suddenly he raised his left hand and caressed your face and you quickly pulled him into a kiss, grasping his left hand on your cheek. When you parted, Stephen vanished before your eyes, ash remaining where your husband had been sitting just a few seconds earlier.

Where his left hand had been on your cheek there was nothing left but ash and a small object in your hand. Stephen's wedding ring. You let out a small gasp as tears began streaming down your face. You turned to see Peter disappear as well and Tony's shoulders slumped. He turned to you and realized that Stephen was gone too. You walked towards each other and hugged.

He let you cry into his shoulder as Nebula tried to comfort you, but it was no use. The love of your life, your husband, your world, your everything, was gone. And you felt as your world began to crumble around you as you grasped onto the last speck of hope you had left, Stephen's ring, as you cried at the battle and the decision that had changed your life forever. Trust me, it's the only way...But Thanos just won, Stephen, we just lost. You thought, and I just lost you.
