"Going subatomic in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" Hope said as Scott disappeared from sight.

"Alright Scott. This is a mic check" said Hank.

Scott didn't answer. A few seconds passed and the newly reunited family stared at each other as they waited for Scott to answer.

Suddenly, Scott said "Mic check 1, 2! 1, 2! How's everyone doing in the Quantum realm?" The smile in his voice could be heard.

Hank sighed. "Scott, we read you" he said.

"Gotcha. I just wanted to make sure" Scott said.

After a few seconds, the family heard Scott say "Ok. Healing particles secured for our new Ghost friend"

"Good" Hope said. "Preparing for reentry in 5, 4, 3...."

Suddenly, Hope stopped talking. She looked at her arm, which was turning into dust.

"Dad?..." she said, voice shaking.

Hank looked up from the computer and stared at her.

"What in the?" he said as he rushed to her, Janet close behind.

He caught their daughter before she hit the ground.

"Dad...what's happening?" she asked in alarm.

"I...I don't..." his voice faltered.

"Mom, dad...I love-" she was cut off as she was turned to dust completely.

Hank stared at his hands as Janet let out a wail of despair.

He looked at his wife, eyes wide and full of fear.

"What the hell is going on?" he said.

He reached over to hold Janet and held her tightly.

He looked up and saw the van.

"Scott...we have to get him out!" he said.

They both rushed to their places, trying to bring him back before whatever took Hope took them too.

"Henry..."

He looked up and saw Janet turn to dust too.

"No!" he shouted.

Then he looked down, at his hands, and saw them begin to disappear.

He let out a mix of a sob and a cry.

And then he was gone.

The Pym and Van Dyne family had been separated again.

But this time, this time it had been much too soon.
