Somewhere beyond the multiverse stands a being as large as the universe itself, The Living Tribunal. With a body made of pure gold and a hooded head with three faces, one in front, one on the left and one on the right. These faces represent Equity, Necessity and Vengeance. The Living Tribunal is The ultimate protector of existence and overseer of the multiverse. He sees all and knows all.

Not only is he the creator of the Celestials, the oldest race in the multiverse assigned to preserve life across existence. But he is also the creator of the Nexus entities that were assigned to choose worthy vessels across the multiverse that would become Nexus Beings.

-The Living Tribunal

In front of the Living Tribunal stands Utau, The Watcher. Usually most beings are below The Watcher, they look up to him and see a very powerful godlike entity... But the Watcher is nothing in front of the Living Tribunal. The Watcher stands in front of him in fear. He had to muster up the courage to come to him for guidance. To ask him why he let things happen the way they happened.

The Living Tribunal's deep voice echoed and roared through infinite space as he opened his mouth to speak to the Watcher.

The Living Tribunal: UTAU. YOU DARE ENTER MY DIMENTIONAL PLANE TO STAND BEFORE MY PRESENCE?

The Watcher: I come before you for I am deeply troubled... I don't really know what I'm doing here, perhaps I wanted to ask for your help but... You already know everything, how everything is supposed to be.

The Living Tribunal: I KNOW FOR WHAT REASON YOU VISIT HERE. YOU SEEK UNDERSTANDING. SPEAK YOUR TROUBLES.

The Watcher: I guess... What's been troubling me the most in recent times is the looming thought that existence is just an endless loop of madness, destined to repeat itself over and over again.

The Watcher was not bothered by the incursion that was about to happen between universe-838 and universe-199999, he was bothered by the fact that the entire multiverse is in danger because of Kang who wants to take Wanda's power and enslave everything in existence. He was also concerned over the multiversal war that has already started and can once again destroy almost everything.

The Living Tribunal: YOU SPEAK OF THE MULTIVERSAL WAR.

The Watcher: This new multiversal war began when the Scarlet Witch rebirthed the multiverse after the previous multiversal war nearly destroyed everything... The very same multiversal war that already happened, is happening once again. For what purpose?

The Living Tribunal: IT IS THE END OF ALL THINGS, IT IS A NEAR IMMOVABLE, FIXED POINT. WE, THE COUNCIL OF ABSTRACT ENTITIES, CREATED A FAILSAFE THAT WOULD ALWAYS RESET EXISTENCE BEFORE ITS TOTAL DESTRUCTION IN ORDER FOR LIFE TO BE PRESERVED. THE FAILSAFE CREATED AN OUROBOROS. AN ENDLESS CYCLE OF DESTRUCTION AND RECREATION, UNTIL THE WAR IS WON.

The Watcher: A failsafe? You mean a vessel that would ultimately destroy reality and restart it after each cycle? Are you perhaps referring to the Scarlet Witch?

The Living Tribunal: SHE IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING. WANDA MAXIMOFF IS THE ONE THAT WILL BRING PEACE TO THE MULTIVERSE, AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF VISHANTI.

The Watcher: The darkhold's antithesis? But how come the darkhold speaks the entire opposite of her?

The Living Tribunal: IT DOES NOT SAY THE OPPOSITE, THOUGH IT DOES TRY TO MAKE HER SEEM LIKE THE ENEMY.

The Watcher: I don't understand. It is said that she would destroy the multiverse...

The Living Tribunal: THE TRUTH IS, IT IS, IN A WAY, CORRECT, BUT IT PURPOSEFULLY LEAVES OUT CONTEXT... TO SPIN THE NARRATIVE.

The X-Mansion

It was a day that everyone dreaded, a day no one saw coming, a day no one will ever forget... A day no one will ever forgive. It was the day the Scarlet Witch killed the greatest heroes on the planet in a matter of minutes.

The world was mourning, but their closest friends could not get over the fact that they had died such a meaningless death for no reason at all. Every other hero gathered together outside the X-Mansion, bidding farewell to their fallen friends.

The ones who took it the worst were the ones who were closest to them. Sue Storm (Invisible Woman played by Jessica Alba), Johnny Storm (Human Torch played by Chris Evans), Ben Grimm (The Thing played by Michael Chiklis), Logan (Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman), Cyclops (Played by James Marsden) and Medusa (Black Bolt's wife, played by Serinda Swan).

Almost every hero on this universe has the resemblance of the older Marvel characters that came before the MCU such as the original X-Men, the original Fantastic Four, The 2003 Hulk, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and Ben Affleck's Daredevil. Many of the Avengers of this universe also looked exactly like the MCU versions except for a few, like Hulk (Played by Eric Bana), and Iron Man (Played By Tom Cruise).

These characters are near exact copies of the ones we knew and loved in these movies. These characters' histories are nearly 100% the exact same. They are essentially the exact same characters with one small difference, they all shared the same universe.

There was one group of heroes who were not variants though, but the true original versions. That was the X-Men.

They were in fact the real original versions. Universe-838 is the real X-Men movie universe. After Wolverine changed their timeline in X-Men: Days of future past by stopping the sentinel program, he woke up in a utopian present day full of extraordinary heroes.

As they sat together around the stone memorials for Professor X, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter and Captain Marvel, there was completely silence. Not a single person wanted to speak. What happened to their friends... To their family... Was nigh unforgivable. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) then took it as his responsibility to say a few words, he stood up and walked to the middle.

Peter Parker (838): I've... Had my fair share of... Funerals... in my life, but I've never actually... Said anything.

Peter takes a deep breath as he tries to think of something he can say that could bring them comfort, even though these people were murdered in cold blood, just like his Uncle. He knew it would be a difficult task since he can read the room, almost everyone had that look in their eyes. The same look he had the moment he swore to hunt down the man responsible for his Uncle's death.

Peter Parker (838): Look I'm not gonna stand here and pretend that this was okay... That any of this was supposed to be their end. It wasn't supposed to be their time, their lives were taken from them. But I ask for just this moment, for everyone to stop thinking what I know most of you are thinking right now. This is a time to say goodbye to them... With mournful tears, not vengeful tears.

Peter takes a while to collect his thoughts before continuing.

Peter Parker (838): Today we say goodbye. We say goodbye to five of the greatest heroes this world has seen. But to us... They were friends. They were family. They were Husbands... Fathers... Mentors and Teachers. They left a legacy on this world...

Peter continued.

Peter Parker (838): There will be a big void in their absence, but whatever life holds in store for us, never forget these words, with great power comes great responsibility. We have gifts, (He gazed at the memorials of the fallen heroes) it is our responsibility to keep going. To fill the void. To be the light of the world. It is our duty to honor their legacy and be the heroes the world needs us to be. For them. It's what they would've wanted.

Before Peter could finish his speech, Wolverine turned around and walked away in anger. He went into the X-Mansion and walked into the classroom where Charles (Professor X) taught many of his students. Many of which has become X-Men themselves. He has become very close with Charles over the many years. He considered him a very good friend. One of the best friends he's ever had. He suddenly burst out into pure rage while screaming at the top of his lungs. He sliced through the tables and chairs in the classroom with his adamantium claws, punches holes in the walls and threw everything around.

After a while he finally stopped and breathed heavily. His claws went back into his hands and he stood in the middle of the room with his head looking down.

Everyone outside heard the commotion and just glanced at each other. Jean Grey stood up and walked to the classroom. Wolverine turned around and looked at Jean standing at the door. She could see some tears in his eyes. She can't remember seeing him cry in her entire life. He felt frustrated, angry, heartbroken and helpless. He wanted to kill Wanda for what she did, but he knew she was not even on his universe and she would be too powerful to even attempt to kill. They would never even be able to find her location.

Jean wrapped her arms around him and he just broke down into tears. After a while they let go.

Wolverine: I can't believe he's gone... I can't believe they are all gone, just like that.

Jean could see the rage building up inside of him again. Wolverine looked at Jean with determination, sadness and hatred all present within his rageful yet saddened eyes.

Wolverine: I'm gonna kill her. I'm gonna kill her if it's the last thing I do...

Present Day
Universe-19999
New Asgard

Every couple of minutes, the entire world shook from multiple small waves of earthquakes. Each time it got longer and more severe. The second quake lasted for three seconds, the third for five, and the fourth quake lasted a while 10 seconds.

Shuri was on her holographic wrist computer searching for any anomaly within Earth's magnetic field that caused these earthquakes around the globe. It has caused a lot of damage already, breaking reports showed that many buildings suffered a lot of damage while several people suffered minor injuries. It was all birth pains of the coming incursion between the two universes, it will only get worse until they will eventually begin to merge with each other.

Shuri: This is strange... These sysmic activities are not showing up on the radar. It's as if they are not coming from within the planet itself... but from without.

Mr. Fantastic: Have you scanned for any anomalies outside the atmosphere?

Shuri: That's what I am doing now.

Loki arrived out of the TemPad portal with Thor and Captain Marvel after they went to the Island to find the being they are looking for.

Loki: We got a huge problem...

Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to Loki, Thor and Captain Marvel.

Starlord: You can say that again.

Groot: I am Groot.

Rocket: Groot! You're not too old for an ass whoopin y'know!

Thor understood what Groot said since he took his language as an elective on Asgard.

Thor: Precisely my friend, we are indeed in deep sh*t.

Loki: Guys! We really got a huge problem. We found the place where the being lived. It was an enormous Island full of ancient dinosaurs. Kang's TVA soldiers were there as well, but they were all defeated and she is nowhere to be found.

Sylvie: She?

Loki: Turns out it's a female.

Reed richards (Mr Fantastic) looked at Shuri.

Mr Fantastic: Can this being maybe be the reason for the giant earthquake?

Captain Marvel: Wait, you guys felt it too? We were just about to head back here when it happened for a fourth time, but the Island is south of the Atlantic Ocean, almost near Antarctica... How could you have possibly felt it here?

Shuri: The earthquake was global. We are looking into it but can't seem to find any cause. I already checked the energy signatures of the being. It wasn't him... I mean her. She didn't do this.... hold on I'm now picking up massive spikes of... dimensional energy. Readings are picking up signals from an... alternate universe...

Loki: Maybe Kang has something to do with it? I can't see how the two events would not be related.

Spider-Man was standing next to Ms Marvel while Loki was trying to warn the heroes about the problem at hand. The two began whispering to each other in the middle of the conversation.

Ms Marvel: Hey, pssst... I've never really had the chance to talk to you. I just want to say that I'm a huge fan.

Spider-Man: Uhh, thanks. I guess?

Ms Marvel: I'm Kamala.

Spider-Man: I'm Spider-Man.

Ms Marvel: Oh you're using your superhero name. I am Ms Marvel then.

Spider-Man just glanced at her from behind his white eye lenses. Amused over the fact that she almost said the exact same thing he said when he met Doctor Strange for the first time.

Loki: The earthquakes are the least of our worries. I'm more bothered by the fact that we just lost our only shot at finding this being! We don't know when Kang will arrive, but when he does, it will be too late because he knows exactly where she is at any given moment.

Little did they know that she was just outside the building, a few feet from the door, along with Doctor Strange, Clea and Magneto. Little did they know that Wanda was in fact the being they were searching for. The being Kang is after. The being that destroyed existence and reshaped reality the way she wanted.

Outside the building

Clea: Are you sure this is the right place?

Doctor Strange: Positive.

Strange and Clea walked up the small steps onto the porch. Magneto waited for Wanda who suddenly froze in one place. She was afraid of what everyone might say and think about her. Being corrupted by the darkhold was mostly contained and took place outside this universe so the chances of them knowing about all that was slim, but everyone knew about Westview. The entire world knew.

Magneto: What's the matter Wanda?

It's been a couple of minutes for Wanda's emotions to calm down after the tragedy that just happened on the Island. Her tremors were not completely gone yet as her hands were still shaking ever so slightly, her heart was still experiencing immense pain. However, she slowly began getting her speech back after she momentarily became completely mute.

Magneto: Why are you stopping? The door is right here.

Wanda: I... Can't...

Magneto: Can't what?

Wanda: I...

Doctor Strange: She can't go inside. She is afraid to face all these people who once knew her... After everything she's done.

Wanda was very surprised that Strange knew exactly how she felt right at this moment.

Wanda: H... How did...?

Strange walked down the steps and put his hands on her shoulders.

Doctor Strange: Because I know you, Wanda. I don't just know you... As I told you before, a part of me has become you. A part of your essence, a part of who you are... Lives in me now... And frankly... I think it's making me a better person.

Strange knew now more than ever that Wanda was good at heart. After he started to see the world through her eyes and through her heart, he's done deeds and felt emotions that would never even cross his mind. Things only found in a very empathetic, kind-hearted person.

Doctor Strange: I know how you're feeling right now because a part of me feels it too.

Wanda: They won't... Accept me.

Doctor Strange: I'll talk to them. I'll tell them about everything that happened. You can stay outside if you'd like. You can come inside when you feel more comfortable.

Magneto: I'll stay with her, but I think it's best you don't tell them everything completely, about the prophecy and all that. Let's just keep it between us for now.

Doctor Strange: I got it, don't worry.

Doctor Strange then opened the big front door. Clea went along with him and they walked towards the meeting room where they were met with multiple glares from every single hero who was present.

Captain America (Sam): Finally, the wizard decided to show up.

Wong: Strange? Where have you been? (He looks at Clea) Who's this?

Doctor Strange: She's an ally... I assume you are all aware of the incursion, right? That's why you came together?

Wanda decided to go inside the building. Magneto followed her and they walked to the room where the other heroes are. But they didn't enter it yet. They stood outside the room in the corner. Wanda still had to collect herself before stepping out from behind the wall to reveal herself through the open door.

Doctor Strange saw Loki among the other heroes and looked at him in confusion.

Doctor Strange: I'm not even gonna ask why he is here or more importantly, how he is even alive.

Thor: It's a very long story, but he was actually the one who brought us together.

Now Strange was even more confused, he also glanced at all the newer heroes like the Fantastic Four and Daredevil etc. He noticed Mr Fantastic looks exactly the same as the one who died on universe-838.

Doctor Strange: I assume this is our universe's version of the Fantastic Four? (He looks at Mr Fantastic) Where have you guys been all this time?

Ant-Man: It's complicated...

Captain Marvel: You said something about an incursion, whatever that is... It's not the reason we came together.

Doctor Strange: What? Okay, look there is no time for whatever this is. I was under the impression that you came together because of the incursion. If it isn't stopped, our entire universe could perish.

Rocket: There's your reason for the earthquakes, Shuri.

Doctor Strange: An Incursion is upon us and our entire universe is in imminent danger, but I might have a solution.

Wanda slowly walked in front of the open door with Magneto. They walked into the room while everyone looked at each other in suspicion. The last time they saw her was at Tony Stark's funeral, before it all went downhill. Before it all came tumbling down for her.

The others who never fought alongside her and never knew her only knew about everything she did in Westview and what she did in Kamar Taj so they obviously had a worse image of her than everyone else in the room who already knew her to an extent.

Wong was the most shocked of all since she attacked Kamar Taj and killed many of his friends while also nearly killing him at Wundagore. By seeing Wanda standing just a few feet away, America Chavez was struck with fear and she hastily took small steps backwards. Over a year ago, Wanda did unspeakable things in order to get to America Chavez. She was under the corruption of the darkhold though.

Wong and America Chavez were also confused over the fact that she was not dead. (They were the only ones who knew about the events of Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.)

Wong did not think twice. His instincts took over and he conjured two orange magical shields.

Wong: Strange! How dare you bring that witch into this room!? How is she even alive!?

Hawkeye: Wanda?

America Chavez: How can you bring her here!?

Doctor Strange: I could ask you all the very same thing! Loki has killed how many countless people and he almost destroyed New York! Now he's here and you're all just like, "No he's fine now". That doesn't seem very fair now, does it?

Strange's sudden change in tone was a result of his new personality that came with Wanda's own and the fact that he's developed feelings for her after experiencing her whole life. Feelings only a father would have.

The way he reacted was exactly what Wanda was also thinking at this very moment.

Doctor Strange: Sorry... I didn't mean that... What I'm trying to say is that Wanda's not a threat. So calm... down...

Wanda knew that this was how they would react, this is why she was hesitant to come here. Even though she prepared herself for this confrontation, she still felt very guilty but also saddened for being misunderstood. The way everyone looked at her in disgust was enough to make her want to walk out and cry all over again.

She held up her shaking hands slightly to signal a truce, in order to show them that she came in peace. She slowly walked forward and stood next to Doctor Strange.

Everyone then saw that she was broken inside. They saw the complete melancholy in her face. They saw her shaking hands, her tired and hopeless eyes, glimmering with tears. They could see her lips trembling.

Wanda: Please... I-I'm... I'm not... here to cause trouble.

Wong calmed down and removed the magical shields from his hands.

Wong: (He looks at Strange) You have ten seconds to explain to me what the hell is going on.

Magneto walked forward in front of Wanda in a protective manner. He looked at the heroes with a worried expression.

Magneto: We're here because we need your help...

Baxter Building

All the heroes of universe-838 (The X-Men movie universe) who were part of the big three groups, the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four gathered together after receiving the beacon that was sent out by Tony Stark (Tom Cruise). The Secret Wars protocol.

The heroes from the Avengers were Iron Man, Thor, Hank Pym known as Giant Man, Janet van Dyne known as the Wasp, Bruce Banner known as Hulk (Played by Eric Bana), Falcon, and the strongest hero on the planet, Sentry (Played by Henry Cavill).

-Sentry:

The heroes from the X-Men were Wolverine, Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey (The Phoenix), Storm, Iceman, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Pietro Maximoff better known as Quicksilver (Played by Evan Peters).

The heroes from the remaining Fantastic Four family were Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing.

Spider-Man (Played by Tobey Maguire) and Daredevil (Played by Ben Affleck) was also present along with Doctor Doom.

Iron Man: I assume all of you already know why I summoned you here. You are aware of the incursion and you know that the Scarlet Witch caused it when she dreamwalked to this universe and killed our friends. You also know why she has to be stopped. Killing her could stop the incursion.

Cyclops: We know what you all are thinking. Many of us here in this room are not killers. Some of you don't even kill your enemies (He looks at Spider-Man). We are aware that there is a possibility that killing her would not prevent this, but doing nothing will make us responsible for not only the destruction of our entire universe, but the possible destruction of theirs as well.

Iron Man: The heroes from their world will probably try to defend her, that's why you are all here. We will need to be prepared for anything.

Spider-Man (838): We can't just kill someone if we are not even 100% certain that her death would stop this.

Doctor Doom: It's time to put your morals aside and focus on the importance of this mission. Wanda Maximoff must be destroyed. She has to be wiped off the face of the Earth.

The Thing: I'll wipe your face with a knuckle sandwich, how 'bout that!

Doctor Doom: She killed your best friend...

The Thing: It's not like you attempted to kill him multiple times too or anything.

He cracks his orange, rocky knuckles.

Invisible Woman: That's enough Ben. Can you two put your hatred for each other aside for just a few hours?

Doctor Doom: Always the reasonable one Suzie...

Invisible Woman: Don't call me that.

Quicksilver: I'm sorry, but I can't do this. I know Wanda killed some of our friends... But she remains my sister... Technically... Since she is from another universe and all that. But still. I've never even killed anyone.

Wolverine: I've waited over a year for this moment. I've wanted to kill her long before we knew about the incursion. Today is the day she pays for her sins.

Jean Grey: What happens if killing her doesn't fix this mess? I'm not against the idea, I'm just curious.

Bruce Banner: To tell you the truth... If killing her doesn't work... I would advise you all to go home and be with your loved ones in your last moments. Because then the incursion is an inevitability.

There was a massive debate that sparked in the hall over what the right course of action was. The majority decided to agree to kill her in a last ditch effort to save their universe, most were motivated by their subconscious still wanting revenge for the murder of their friends while a very small portion decided to walk away and be with their family. The ones who walked out was Giant Man, The Wasp, Rogue, Nightcrawler and Quicksilver. Surprisingly, Spider-Man chose to stay.

Spider-Man (838): I will help you... I will fight with you... I will do what I can because it is a responsibility. If there is a small chance to save our universe... To save MJ and my daughter... I will take it. But I can not and will not be the one responsible for Wanda's death.

Wolverine: Don't sweat it, bub. I'm your guy for the job.

The Thing: I just got one question. How do you plan on finding her? You needed Doctor Strange for that, remember? That obviously backfired.

Iron Man: Before Doctor Strange got away, I managed to put a tracker on him. The chances are good that he went to get her and either hide her away or prepare the other heroes to protect her from us. We will will open a portal to Strange's location so we need to be prepared for anything. We have no idea what he had planned. You all know how dangerous he can be.

Cyclops: We also know how dangerous the Scarlet Witch is. She single handedly killed the greatest heroes on the planet in a matter of minutes. Some of us might not make it out of this alive, but like Spider-Man said... It's our responsibility.

Everyone stood ready to discuss strategy.

Wolverine: Time to go to war.
