Roses Part 2
Roses Part 2
**If you haven't, in order to get a better understanding of what's about happen, I'd highly recommend going back to the part one of this and reading it. Thank you, that is all**
This was sorta requested by Leshtique They commented a while back if I could do a part two, and here it is!
~~
You had been living in the Avengers tower for about one and half months now, because of the looming threat of Carson Perez. One day after staying at the tower for a week you decided to go to your apartment to check on everything, and found creepy photographs of you in your everyday life. To say the least, you've never ran faster in your lifetime. Not even on missions.
Yesterday Tony, Wanda, and a voluntary Nat went to your place to collect all of your things and put the place up for rent. You knew Carson was angry, because later that night a note was left on the front door of the tower from him.
Tony had you on the highest floor of rooms, which just so happened to be right below his personal floor and right beside Wanda's room. The two had been nothing but helpful for you as you continued to try and train and prepare for missions, even when Carson scared you so much.
"Wanda!" you yelled out, grabbing her attention. She hurried over to you and helped you lift the weight that was crushing your chest. Once it was off, you sat up and let out a heavy sigh. "Thank you. I guess 300 pounds was too big of a jump for me."
She scoffed and placed her hands on her hips. "Of course it was! Just yesterday you were lifting only 150. You can't just double it overnight, and Steve was the one who told me that!" Her yelling got quieter as she saw your tired state. "(Y/n), you need to take a day off. Stop pushing yourself to train every single day. We should go hang out outside the tower today. Just us two," Wanda said, suggesting you should leave the safest place on Earth at the moment and risk getting caught by your delusional and abusive ex. Well, at least that's what you interpreted.
"Wanda, I'm not leaving the tower. It's too dangerous," you said as you stood up. You grabbed you sweat towel and water bottle from a bench and started to walk out of the room. Wanda ran and caught up with you.
"You'll be okay! I don't think he'd do anything in broad daylight. And hello, you'll be with me," Wanda said, and you two started laughing.
You let out a defeat sigh and mumbled a 'fine', and let Wanda drag you up to your room so you could get out of your sweaty training gear. She let you know that she'd wait for you in the common room, and left you to do your thing.
To stay casual, you decided on a teal colored, loose t-shirt, a pair of light blue denim jeans, a long black sweater, and some black velvet ankle boots. You looked at yourself in the mirror and nodded, then left your room to meet Wanda.
~~
You two spent the day out an about, window shopping and eating a lot. It was fun, to the point where you had pretty much forgotten about why you were scared in the first place. The two of you were just walking down the street, arm in arm and carrying some shopping bags, when you saw your favorite clothing store.
"Oh my god it's (f/c/s)!! We have to go!" you yelled excitedly, and you dragged Wanda faster down the sidewalk. The two of you entered the store and went straight into looking at the clothes. Wanda came over and handed you some cute stuff, and begged you to try it on for her.
"Alright fine. But I may or may not get it, so don't have your heart set on this outfit," you told her on your way back to the dressing rooms. You found a room that was closer to the back, next to an emergency exit. In your head, you thought of someone mid change having to sprint out of the dressing rooms, causing you to chuckle a bit. That noise hasn't been heard for a while, you thought as you entered the dressing room.
You entered and locked the door, getting ready to try Wanda's outfit of choice on, when an arm snaked around your waist and a hand clamped over your mouth. Your eyes widened cartoonishly, and you were already trying to scream through your captor's hand.
"Surprise (Y/n)," the person whispered in your ear, and your blood ran cold at the sound of his voice. No, no how did he find you? It was like he was waiting for you to come back to the dressing rooms. It was like he was watching you all day...
Your screams got louder, but Carson's hand closed tighter around your mouth, his arm around your waist tightening with it. "Oh no no no, you aren't going to get away again. See, this time I have everything planned. I mean, it wasn't hard to figure out that you'd come to your favorite store and try stuff on. The rest of the plan, well, I'm not gonna tell you. You might be bugged. That's something we'll test when we get to the docks."
Carson turned the two of you around to where he was closest to the door. He carefully removed the hand from your waist to open the door enough to where he could nudge the rest of the way. His arm was back on you as he peeked outside. "Let's go," he said quietly, then started to drag you to the emergency exit.
You took your chance then. With as much power as you could you slammed your head back onto his nose and kicked him in the shin. Carson was stunned for a second, but it was long enough for you to get your mouth free.
"WANDA!" you shrieked as loud as you could before Carson could grab you again. To slow his plan down even more, you attempted to run away from him. "WANDA!" You saw her come racing over, her eyes widening when she saw Carson grab hold of you again. This time, he only had a hand around your torso.
The other was holding a gun, and he shot up at the ceiling to cause a distraction. When Wanda's hands flew to shield her face from falling glass, Carson took this opportunity to drag you through the emergency exit. As he dragged you out, your screamed until your throat burned. It wasn't for long, because Carson threw you into the trunk of a car and slammed it closed.
~~
Wanda sat, her tear-streaked face buried into her hands. Clint rubbed a comforting hand on her shoulder. They were sitting on a couch back at the compound. The rest of the Avengers came to investigate what had happened down where Wanda and you were, only to find an angry-sobbing Wanda shouting for the store manager to show her the security tapes and to get better security in general.
Now she was mainly crying from sadness now, the anger since burned off (poor store manager). "Wanda, what do you remember?" Steve asked, Captain mode initiated with the suit on and everything.
"I told you already!" Wanda shouted, lifting her face from her hands. "I handed her some cute clothes to try on and she went back to the dressing rooms. While I was looking through more stuff not even a minute later, I heard her screaming. I ran over to her as fast as I could, saw Carson taking her away, then he shot at a light causing me to duck. When I looked back up he was gone. I sprinted out the emergency exit door back there and found nothing."
Steve sighed at turned to Tony next to him. "Give her a break, Steve. She's beating herself up right now, we have to give her a minute," Tony said, trying to get the Star-Spangled Man With a Plan to calm the interrogation down.
Steve merely sighed and turned his back fully on Wanda to speak to Tony. "Every minute we waste is another minute (Y/n) could be dragged somewhere across the country, the world, or further into torture. I'm not just gonna give up on my team," Steve said through gritted teeth.
Steve turned back around harshly to Wanda, who got startled. "We have to find her. We need you to try anything to find her. Can you use your magic mind powers to find her?" Steve asked Wanda. He continued, "We don't have time to mope around and falsely blame ourselves. Right now, it's about saving (Y/n). We don't blame you, she doesn't blame you, you aren't to blame. So do you want to sit here on your ass or get up and save your friend?"
The words Steve just said had surprised everyone, but Wanda was motivated by them. She stood up, wiping the last of her tears from her face and nodded to Cap. "Let's go save (Y/n)."
~~
You had no clue how long or how far you had gone, but not once did Carson stop. It had been so long since you had a breath of fresh air and felt the sun on your skin. Being stuck in the back of a car was taking a toll on you body, and any longer you might pass out and not wake up.
The car finally stopped, and for a moment you were relived that you might get a chance at sunlight. But then you remembered who was responsible for all of this in the first place, and wanted to move into the trunk of the car to avoid seeing him.
The trunk was thrown open, and you flinched from the sudden sunlight. Carson grabbed your arm and, while you were adjusting to the blinding sunlight, tied your hands together. He pulled you up and out of the trunk and started walking fast, pulling you behind him. It took a lot of control not to trip on your feet and the concrete you were walking on.
Carson had taken you to a crappy motel. It was gross, and you hadn't even gotten into the room yet. He pulled you along and barged into a room, casually throwing you onto the floor while he closed and locked the door.
"Finally," he said, letting out a sigh of relief. He leaned against the door and closed his eyes for a moment. You tried to scoot away from him while simultaneously undoing your tied hands. Carson's eyes opened and he saw you trying to get far away from him. "Aw, how cute. You think you can get away from me at this point. No, you and I are stuck together...for as long as you live," Caron said, slowly walking towards you.
Panic set into you as you realized how this would turn out, and now you were determined to do anything to show you won't go down without a fight. When he was within range, you shot your leg up and out. You knew you hit him when he grunted and fell to the floor, holding this...special area.
As quickly as you could, you stood up, using the bed next to you for support. Once up you sprinted to the door to go and get out. Maybe at least you could scream for help. You, however, didn't get very far. Carson managed to grab your ankle on the way and you crashed to the floor. Blood filled your mouth and you could smell it everywhere. But you got up. If being an Avenger has taught you anything, it's to get your ass back up when your or someone else's life is on the line. And right now, you thought yours was.
When you stood, you saw the small puddle of blood on the floor. Now wasn't the time to stare at your blood, (Y/n). Again, your an Avenger. You've seen your blood a lot. You looked back and saw Carson start to recover, so you hurried to the door. It was closer to you than Carson was, so you had a better chance.
The door handle was such a nice feeling in your hand. You turned it and started out the door, when Carson's arm grabbed you. "No!" you screamed, and saw a man getting into a car. "Help!" you screamed once more, grabbing the man's attention. He saw you struggling, and ran over. He made it in the apartment before Carson could close the door. But why didn't Carson seem alarmed?
"Ah, yes. (Y/n), you remember my brother Alexander, right?" Carson asked you, and your face paled quickly. You should've known that Carson would plan like this. You lived with this person for a long time, you knew Carson planned.
You shook your head and closed your eyes to stop from seeing these awful men. Tears seeped from under your eyes lids as you came to the conclusion: you would never be free again.
~~
Wanda and Steve were leading the team in the search for (Y/n). Wanda was using her anger to fuel her dedication to searching everywhere. The team had gone in full detective mode, starting with surveying all of the security cameras that viewed the entrances/exits where Carson Perez could've escaped, and they found a lead. So far, it's been a great lead. Following security cameras from different areas to depict his path, it led the group to a small motel outside Madison, Wisconsin.
The place was nasty, and run by an old guy who didn't give a crap. So, it was pretty easy to convince him to let the group of temporary detectives snoop around each room to find Carson and (Y/n). Wanda was the only one out of the group who truly knew what Carson looked like, so she was the head of the group. Steve was behind her, with everyone else mainly keeping watch to see if anyone leaves.
"Alright, I think this might be the last one. She has to be here," Wanda said, turning to face Steve. He nodded in agreement and she knocked on the door. It opened to reveal a man's face. And that's it. He only had it opened wide enough for only his head to fit through.
He looked to the two of them. "Can I help you guys?" he asked.
"Yes, you can actually," Wanda said. "We're just wondering if we can look through your apartment for a minute?" The man visibly shifted and rubbed the back of his neck. Now, his eyes refused to look up at the two.
He cleared his throat before responding. "Well uh why? I'd like to know why you need to look through my uhm stuff before you actually do." Clearly he was nervous, which only proved Wanda correct.
"We're looking for a person," Steve answered in his authoritative tone. It got the guy to get sweatier than he already was. "And if you have nothing to do with it, you wouldn't mind us looking. After all, you denying us entry is only suspicious."
Steve caught the guy, and he reluctantly opened the door, slowly but surely. When the door was opened wide enough, the pair entered the small apartment. Wanda had only made it a couple steps in when she stepped in something...sticky? She lifted her shoe and it made audible noises that proved the floor was sticky.
She and Steve looked up at the guy questioningly. "Oh yeah I um...uh," he fumbled around looking for an excuse, rubbing the back of his neck raw, and refusing to look at wither of them in the face. "I got a little carried away earlier when I was uhm...watching...p-"
"Don't finish that sentence," Wanda snapped at the guy, and his face flushed a dark shade of red. Wanda walked into the room more, allowing Steve to fully enter as well and he shut the door behind him. The pair surveyed the room for anything noticeable. The bed was a disgusting mess as well, which wasn't surprising to her. Wanda walked in further and noticed two doors. One was open to reveal a bathroom. The other, however, was shut tight.
Steve followed Wanda's eyes and noticed the same thing. "Can we peek in those rooms please?" he asked the guy, even though his tone wasn't really asking. He hesitated however, and his hand hadn't left his neck since the moment we got here. Something was up.
"Well um, I just...well you can check the bathroom," he said, pointing to the open door. Steve wasn't looking for that answer.
"What about the other door?"
The guy rubbed the back of his neck and stumbled over his words. "Well I-I uhm got some crud in there that-t uh um I really don't think you'll find anything in there," he said. Wanda wasn't taking his bullshit.
"Then you wouldn't mind us looking to check, would you? It'll make us feel better," she said. Her hands started to glow slightly to show how serious this situation was.
The guy gave in, and nodded. Wanda walked over to the closet door and started to open it. "Yeah go ahead and uh look in the closet I guess," the guy suddenly said, really loud. Wanda looked back at him in confusion, then back to the closet. The door opened, and something popped out and whacked her in the face.
~~
Carson was holding your mouth shut and sitting part way on you so you couldn't make any noise while your friends looked for you.
Him and Alexander were sitting and talking for a second before they heard people talking and knocking on each door, slowly making their way down to the room you were in. There was a shred on hope in you that it was Wanda, maybe even the whole team. Of course Carson didn't want to take any chances.
He untied you from your prison on the bed and quickly dragged you into the closet. You tried to protest, to make noise to let them know you were here, but Carson's hand quickly covered your mouth.
You hadn't moved since he first hid you, and it had been at least 30 minutes. You heard Wanda and Steve's voices right outside. If you could just move you could get their attention.
Footsteps were coming closer to the closet you were in, and Carson could tell too. You could hear Alexander yell out, "Yeah go ahead and uh look in the closet I guess." There was a small pause before the footsteps continued to get closer to the closet. Carson shifted to where you could move, but not very much. The door started to open, and finally! You thought of freedom, of seeing your friends again, of getting away from the awful people and finally seeing them put behind bars.
Instead, Carson kicked Wanda as soon as you saw her face, and she fell backwards. Carson lifted you up and bound your wrists with one of his hands, using the other to hold a gun in front out. "Where the hell did you get a gun?" you asked, not even thinking of the situation.
"Shut up," Carson growled, slamming the handle part of the gun into your shoulder. You let out a noise (not sure what to classify it as...it was weird) of pain and started to fall to the ground. Carson's grip on your wrists, however, kept you up. You looked up and saw Steve in civilian clothes, holding his shield. His eyes met yours, yours holding a pleading expression.
"Let her go," Steve said, holding his shield out in an offensive position. It was like a standoff. Wanda had since recovered from the kick, standing next to Steve with her hands and eyes glowing. Alexander and Carson here holding you in front of them like a human shield, Carson holding his gun up past your shoulder.
The room was silent, only Caron and Alexander's heavy breathing filling the space. Steve and Wanda were composed, waiting for Carson to make the first strike. You were struggling in Carson's grip, wishing you could sprint to safety.
It felt like it was like this for years, until your captor finally decided to make a move. "No." He shot at Wanda, who blocked it effortlessly with her powers. Then all hell broke loose. Steve used his shield to hit Alexander in the leg, causing him to fall on his back. Carson shot two more times, all aimed for Wanda. Again, he underestimated her powers, and the bullets fell to the ground.
"Let me go!" you yelled out, and kicked Carson in the shin. He kneeled down but refused to let go. Instead he threw you behind him, and your head hit the corner of the bed. "Ouch," you mumbled, rubbing your head. When you pulled your hand away you saw sticky blood on your hand. "Nice."
You brought your head back into reality and noticed that Carson was ignoring you at this point. Taking the opportunity, you swiped your leg into his, and he fell down, shooting the ceiling in the process. He looked back at you with fury in his eyes, but you met it with a swift kick to the nose. This was your chance. You sprung up from the ground and ran to Wanda while Steve took down Alexander. As soon as you got close to her, she pulled you into a hug while still holding a little shield up.
"You're alright, we're here," Wanda said as you cried into her shoulder. Now she was hugging you with one arm as she used her other to pin down Carson. You could hear Alexander struggling in pain as Steve held him down and you finally felt safe again. You looked up and saw the two boys struggling against the heroes. "You're okay now," Wanda said again.
~~
After a couple hours of giving statements to the police and watching Carson and Alexander get put in handcuffs, you finally really let go. You sat next to Wanda and hugged her in the car, crying into her shoulder as well. When the fighting was over, Steve was the only one who didn't get an injury on their face. Wanda had to hold a cloth to her nose. Your injury was different because you fell flat on your face, and it had awkwardly healed back. No matter what you were heading to the hospital.
"How long was I gone?" you asked, unsure of how long the drive down to Madison had been. Tony looked back at you from the front seat. He thought for a second and looked at the date displayed on the screen in the car.
"I believe for about 4 days? You were at the hotel for a day you said, so you pretty much drove about 3 days," Tony explained, and you nodded back. Steve and Tony (in the front seats) engaged in a hushed conversation while you and Wanda sat in the back seats. Wanda had explained to you everything they did, and how they couldn't bring too many people with them. However, they followed anyways. Nat, Clint, Bruce, and Vision were all in a separate car following behind. Sam and Bucky stayed back at the tower in case anything happened back there.
It was a long journey back home, but when you got there everyone was respectful of you needing time to sleep in peace, as opposed to the little fear induced sleep you got the past 3 days. Wanda and Nat stayed with you in your room and the three of you fell asleep watching Legally Blonde late at night.
The next morning you all decided to hang out with the team, having fun and helping you get back into the fun vibes you had been deprived of. "Ooh let's play charades! I'm a master at communicating with my hands!" Clint yelled out, and everyone went along with it.
The rest of the day was just everyone having fun, and also Nat nearly killing Tony for attempting to cheat in Pictionary later on. You had no idea how he did, but Nat noticed somehow and put him in a choke hold until he admitted it.
All in all, you were glad to be home. When the night was over, and most of the Avengers passed out drunk on the couch, you went back to your room to call it a night.
You entered the room and turned the light on and gasped.
There, above your bed, a lone rose petal floated down to land on your pillow.

A/N: I'M BACK BITCHES! Okay, that moment is over. I am back though. Even though I'm going on vacation to the beach next week, I'm going to have a lot of time on rainy days and at night to work on more chapters. I'm still going to stick with the 'post whenever I have a chapter' as opposed to a schedule. It just works out better for me that way, and I hope you guys can understand.
Now, I will not write a part 3 to this imagine, as I have no idea on where to go from there. It'll be open ended and if you feel like it, you can write your own part 3. That's all up to you guys.
So, I want to ask for your opinions my Lovelies. There is an imagine I want to write. It's not outright smut, but there's a lot of implied dirty stuff...like, just mentions and stuff. It's also a huge Stucky ship (I tried, there's really not another way to write it to where it'll still make sense). So, if you guys are interested and okay with all of this, I'll try to write it. But it all depends on your feedback.
Last thing, THANK YOU FOR 39K READS AND 515 VOTES. AAAAAHHHHH THIS IS AMAZING!!! Okay I'm calm. But really guys I just love seeing you vote and comment and just overall love these. It makes my heart smile 😊.
Bye Lovelies!!!!!!!
