How you meet:
You were walking down the street after work and you weren't going to lie, you lived in a sketchy area.
Pepper spray was in your purse and you had learned some self-defense but you were still very scared.
As you were walking down the road you heard heavy steps behind you. You turned around and saw a pretty tall guy, and he was pretty muscular.
You backed away a little but before the guy said anything a guy jumped down and stood in front of you.
"Move along." He said as he rolled up his sleeves to reveal a metal arm.
Your eyes widened and you looked at him.
"Thank you." You said softly and he looked at you.
"You weren't doing anything wrong. Where do you live?" He asked and you pointed behind you.
"A few more blocks down that way." You said and he nodded as he rolled down his sleeves again.
"Okay, I'll walk with you to make sure you're safe." He said and you nodded, not arguing because it's not everyday that a hot guy comes to your aid.

How he asks you out:
You and Bucky had gotten to know each other very well.
Everyday he would escort you to and from your house to make sure you didn't get hurt.
He would make you smile and laugh and you just enjoyed being with him.
Yes, he told you about him being the winter solider partially because he can't hide his metal arm.
One day when he was walking you home he held your hand shyly but you didn't pull away.
You saw him smile as you walked up to the door of your apartment.
"So I'll see you tomorrow." You said and smiled.
He paused and didn't let go of your hand.
"Wait, I want to ask you something." He said and you nodded. "So um, would be up to going on a date with me?" He asked and you blushed softly but nodded.
"Yeah, I would like that." You said and he smiled.
He kissed your hand which made you blush even more, but you opened your door and let you in before closing the door.
You smiled and leaned against the door and smiled very widely.

Your first date:
The night of your first date you were getting ready and putting on your shoes as there was a knock on the door.
"Come on in Buck." You called you heard the door open and close.
You walked out of the bathroom and looked at him. "So how do I look?" You asked and he looked at you.
His jaw dropped and the flowers in his hand dropped a little.
"Wow." You heard him whisper and you giggled a little.
"Aw, flowers!" You said and walked over to him.
You took the flowers from him and walked to the kitchen to put them on water.
After you out then in water you walked back over to Bucky and he seemed to have gathered himself and you smiled.
"So where are we going?" You asked as he took your hand and walked out of your building.
"Well, I was hoping to go for a picnic in the park and stargaze." He said and you smiled and nodded.
"That sounds beautiful." You said and he smiled.
"Just like you doll." He said as he walked to the park.

He finds out you self harm/harmed:
In your high school year, you fell into a deep depression and you didn't really tell anyone so you turned on yourself and started hurting yourself.
You had scars on your thighs and stomach because of it, and on some low nights you turned back to that old habit, but it had been years since you've done it.
On one date Bucky wanted you to the beach but you were protesting.
"Come on doll, please just come to the beach." He whined and you stood there with your arms crossed and your head shaking.
"No James." You said and he looked at you.
"Okay why don't you want to go swimming?" He asked and walked closer to you.
"I'm afraid of water." You said.
"Nope, you are not. Please just tell me." He said and put his hands on your shoulders.
"I just don't want to Buck." You said and he sighed.
"Okay, fine. It'll be the hard way then." He said and picked you up and slung you over his shoulder.
"James out me down!" You said as he walked to your room and put you on the bed.
What you didn't realize is that when he put you on the bed your shirt rolled up and your scars were showing.
He paused and looked at your stomach.
Your eyes widened and pulled your shirt back down. You closed your eyes and sighed as you began to explain.
"I haven't done it in forever. It was just because of high school." You whispered and he sat next to you and kissed your head.
"Good." He whispered and took a deep breath. "If you ever feel like that again please tell me." He said and you nodded a little.

First kiss:
You were hanging out with Bucky, playing around in the kitchen in the tower. You were trying, keyword trying, to make some cake for his birthday but you were failing.
He was laughing while trying to put cake batter on your nose while you were running around the kitchen.
You smiled and stopped because you were so out of breath and he caught you by your waist.
He put some batter on your nose and you smiled up at him while he smiled and looked down at you.
"I told you I would get you." He said and you smiled.
"That's just because I was tired." You said softly and he laughed softly and kissed you.
You were just standing there in the middle of the kitchen kissing when Steve walked in and his eyes widened.
"Uh guys?" He asked and you two pulled away and looked at him.
"Hey Stevie." You said smiling and Bucky laughed softly.
"Um, Tony's coming over here so you better clean up a little." He said and walked away shaking his head.
You giggled and kissed Bucky's cheek and wiggled out of his grip.
"I bet you I can clean up faster than you." You said and he laughed.
"Oh it's on." He said and you two started cleaning up.

You meet the rest of the avengers:
You had known Steve because Bucky and Steve were brothers.
So as soon as you and Bucky started dating the Avengers knew who you were but never met you.
You were waiting for Bucky to pick you up for work and you heard a knock.
"Come in Buck." You called, Buck was now your official nickname for him.
"Hey she calls you Buck too!" You heard an unfamiliar voice.
You stood up and walked over to the door and Bucky walked over to you to give you a quick hug.
"So the Avengers wanted to meet you." He said and pulled away.
You nodded as you suddenly became shy.
"Hey there beautiful." The famous Tony Stark said to you and you blushed.
"Back of Stark." Bucky said and you squeezed Bucky's hand and moved closer to him to calm him down.
"So you're Stark, you're obviously Thor, hey Stevie (your nickname for him), Bruce, Clint, Natasha, Wanda..." You said and they all nodded.
"I described all of you to her." Bucky said and they nodded.
"Stevie?" Tony asked and Steve groaned.
"I wish you didn't hear that." He said and laughed a little.
"I like calling you capsicle." Tony said and you laughed a little.
"Well I have to get to work so I'll see you later." You said and shooed them out of your house and turned to Bucky.
"A little warning next time." You said and he laughed a little and nodded.

You make it official:
You were hanging out at the tower with Bucky but you had to go to the bathroom so you left him for a minute.
When you were walking back you heard Bucky talking to Steve.
"So are you like official?" Steve asked.
"What?" Bucky asked, still confused.
"Like boyfriend and girlfriend." Steve explained and Bucky shrugged a little.
"Would you like to be?" Steve asked and Bucky laughed a little.
"Of course." He said and you blushed a little.
You walked back to Bucky and Steve stood up  to leave.
"Hey there." You said and sat down.
"Hey doll?" He asked and you looked at him.
"Yes?" You asked and he put his arm around you.
"Are we boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asked and you laughed.
"First, yes we are. Second I heard you and Steve." You said and he blushed a little.
"Well then..." He said and laughed.
"Now let's keep watching Psych!" You said and he laughed and nodded.

First I love you:
Bucky was on a mission and you were missing him like crazy.
You hated not seeing him and he hated not seeing you.
The minute you heard that they had come home you got up off the couch and ran to the debriefing room, ignoring the confidential warning Fury gave you.
You ran into the room and ran straight at Bucky, thanks god he was standing up.
He caught you and stumbled a bit but didn't fall. You wrapped your legs around his waist and just hung onto him.
"I missed you so much." You whispered and he kissed your head.
"I missed you too doll." He said and you smiled.
"I love you." You said and he paused for a second. He looked down at you and smiled widely.
"I love you too." He said and held you closer until someone cleared their throat cashing you to blush and get off of Bucky.
"Sorry guys..." You said and looked at Bucky.
He smiled and winked at you.
You smiled and walked out of the room and waited till he was out of the room yo give him his next hug.

What he first thinks when he sees you:
So this guy can just attack her? Yeah not happening.
Okay, now just be the charming Barnes you are.
Wait, what do I say now? Damn I haven't done this in awhile.
Okay, calm down Bucky, you can do this.
Offer to walk her home. Yeah, that's good.
Yes, okay good. This'll work out.

Avenger he's jealous of:
Bruce Banner.
Bruce has all of his shit together and he can deal with his inside struggles but Bucky can't.
You constantly remind him that you love him but Bucky just doesn't listen a lot of the time.

He sees you topless/naked:
Bucky and you were dancing in the living room of the Avengers tower with music on low.
You smiled softly and looked up at Bucky and he l owed down at you.
"Hey beautiful." He whispered and you blushed a little.
You put your head back on his chest and you closed your eyes.
You both of you didn't hear anyone walk into the room but the rest of the team walked in with buckets full of water.
They all smirked and threw the water on you and Bucky.
You swore loudly and pulled apart as the water dripped down your body and you were in your pajamas, a white shirt and some booty shorts.
Bucky blocked the rest of the team as you tore off your shirt, not even thinking about what you were doing.
You blushed brightly as you looked up at Bucky and he smiled a little.
"I'll escort you to our room and then beat their asses." He said and kissed her head.
You nodded a little and walked to your room and smiled softly while still blushing.
He closed the door behind him and looked at you.
"Okay now turn around." You said and he laughed softly and closed his eyes.
"Okay." He said.
You changed quickly and lakes over to him.
"Okay, you can open your eyes." You said and smiled.
He opened his eyes and smiled.
"Okay, you look nice without a shirt on." He said and you blushed even more brighter.

He sees you cry:
You were on one of low nights and Bucky was gone at a SHIELD meeting.
All you really needed was his arms around you to calm down but he wasn't going to be home for hours.
The night alone made you think, and thinking isn't good usually so you worked yourself into a panic attack.
You reached for your phone with a shaky hand and pulled up his number and called him.
Waiting for him to answer seemed like forever but he finally answered.
"Hey doll, what's wrong?" He asked and you took a deep breath.
"Buck...when are you coming home?" You asked quietly.
"I can leave anytime, what's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked and your tears couldn't be held back any longer.
"N-No, I-I'm having a-a-a panic a-attack." You said and you heard him pause and ask if he could go home.
"It's okay, I'm borrowing Steve's motorcycle and I'll be home soon okay?" He asked and you could only choke out an okay.
He hung up and you put your phone down as you continued to sob.
Bucky got home in a couple of minutes and ran in to find you curled up in a ball on the floor in front of the couch.
"Hey doll." He said softly and sat next to you and put his arms around you. "It's going to be okay." He whispered and kissed your head softly.
You curled into his side and took a deep breath and your breathing calmed slowly.
"Are you okay now?" He asked and you nodded a little and closed your eyes.
"I'll stay here the night okay?' He asked softly and you nodded a little as you fell asleep.
He stayed up all night to make sure you didn't wake up panicked again.

You see him cry:
Bucky was very afraid of staying the night with you because of his nightmares. He was afraid that he would hurt you in his sleep.
After convincing him he agreed to stay the night with you and actually sleep.
When you laid next to him he was all stiff but when you put your head on his chest he relaxed a little and put his arm around you softly.
You closed your eyes and fell asleep
He fell asleep sometime after you but you felt him shifting a lot so you woke up and looked at him.
He was yelling and crying in his sleep as he thrashed around.
"Bucky wake up. James!" You called and he bolted up.
"What? Did I hurt you?" He asked and you shook your head.
"No, you were having a nightmare." You said softly and he hugged you as he was crying softly.
"I'm so sorry." He said softly.
"Buck you didn't hurt me. Why are you sorry?" You asked and he cried into your shoulder.
"Hydra...dream...told me to kill...you." He explained and you rubbed your back.
"You won't kill me Bucky and I know you aren't going to. Calm down Buck, it's okay." You whispered and kissed his head.
He slowly calmed down and took a deep breath.
"It's okay, do you want to go back to sleep?" You asked and he nodded a little.
"Okay, let's go back to sleep. I'll be right here." You said as you both laid down again and closed your eyes.
You and him fell asleep quickly and stayed asleep all through the night.

He gets jealous:
Bucky would get jealous a lot but he would easily scare the guys away.
He would walk up to you and roll up his sleeves, showing his metal arm and wrapped his arm around your waist.
The guy would runaway and leave you alone while you and Bucky laughed and had another drink together.

He thinks he's not good enough for you:
Bucky was unusually quiet one day and he was never quiet.
You walked up to him, turned off the tv, and looked at him.
"What's wrong?" You asked and he sighed.
"I'm a monster." He said softly and you shook your head.
"James Buchanan Barnes, you are not a monster. You are my boyfriend that I love." You said and he sighed
"I don't deserve you." He said and you sat next to him.
"Bucky stop. I love you and you are not a monster. You are amazing." You said and you hugged your waist.
"Thank you." He whispered and you smiled a little.
"Of course babe." You said and played with his hair softly.
He smiled softly and continued to play with his hair to calm him down.

You're on your period:
While you were sitting on the couch you groaned and rolled over.
"Buccckkkyyyyyy." You call d and he ran into the room.
"Yeah doll?" He asked and you looked at him.
"Can you get me some food and a heat pad?" You asked and he nodded.
"Any reason why?" He asked and you nodded.
"Uh, period." You said and he coughed a little and nodded.
"Okay, will do." He said and walked to the kitchen.
You sighed and rolled over again because the pain was getting worse.
"And Advil!" You called and groaned.
"Okay!" He said.
You sighed and waited for Bucky to get what you wanted.
He walked in and smiled softly.
"Here you go." He said and handed you a cup of water and medicine.
You took your medicine and then he gave you your food that he got.
You smiled and took the food as he sat by your head and you put your head in his lap.
He put the heating pad on your abdomen and you smiled.
"Thank you so much." You said and he smiled.
"Of course babe, anything for you." He said and you smiled as you continued to eat.
