"UCK?!" Peter yelled. I watched him as he turned around and looked at me. I gaped in horror. Mysterio just had to ruin his life even more. People around us stared at Peter in confusion and fear.

"Wait. He didn't call the drones!" I defended him. "Mysterio did! You can't actually believe him?!"
"I don't know that the protocol is for revealing your secret identity," Peter states nervously. "So... hi? Surprise?" He took off his mask and sighed. Everyone gasped and started whispering to each other.

"Pete. Maybe we should..." I gesture with my hand to the sky. He nodded before jumping down and startling everyone around us. He quickly grabbed me and pointed his webs at the closest building. We lifted off and I closed my eyes again and clung to him.

Soon we were above his building. We landed on the rooftop and sat down. He buried his face in his hands and let out a shaky sigh. I slowly rubbed his back, hoping to make him feel better.

"I messed up again, Y/N." he whispered. He put his mask on the side of the ledge.
"You didn't mess up!" I fiercely defended. "Mysterio messed up. He has no idea who he's messing with." I fumed.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this." he turned to look at me, sadly.
"You didn't drag me into anything," I reassured. I slowly put my head on his shoulders and he pulled me closer. We sat there, looking on at the busy streets. The sun was setting slowly, leaving Queens in a golden blanket of light. I turned to Peter hoping to see him calm but he had tears in his eyes. I slightly winced.

"I'm sorry, Pete." I wrapped my arms around him. "M-maybe it's a good thing? Flash won't bully you anymore and this will shut him up." I smirked.
He chuckled in response. I thought for a few seconds. I turned to him and cocked my head to the side.
"Peter,"
"Y/N?"
"I love you." His head snapped to me, meeting my gaze. His jaw was open and his eyes were wide.
"I- I love you too!" he grinned. I blushed under his gaze. This was our first time saying it out loud. I soaked in the silence. I held his hands, placing a light kiss on his hands. We sat there for longer. We will get through this... because it's us. Us against everyone else.
