Peter took a deep breath as he entered his room. He would be sharing it with two other students and somehow felt incredibly nervous about it. He didn't know why. When he was in Junior High he also had shared a room with someone, but this seemed so different somehow.
A plump boy sat at his table, his laptop opened, and played a computer game. Peter was automatically relieved. When he was already playing a game, it couldn't be so bad, right? Peter also liked playing games, so that probably wouldn't be a problem.
"Hi, man", he said and threw his back pack on the last free bed. He wondered where his other roommate was, but then threw that thought aside, because the boy at the desk turned around. "Hi", he returned Peters greetings and smiled. "I'm Ned."
Peter shook Ned's hand and introduced himself with a quick "Peter."
"Wong's already headed for the twelvers' dorms. Said he knows some guy called Stephen."
Wong must be my second roommate, Peter figured and then smiled. "Nice to meet you, Ned", he said, then sat down on his bed. "What are ya playin'?"
Me shrugged. "Just some Subnautica", he replied and Peter almost jumped in excitement. "Really! I'm constantly playing that!", he exclaimed.
"Sounds like we're gonna have much fun then", Ned grinned and continued playing.

"Okay, see you later", the boys heard a voice call from outside, then the door was pushed open and another boy entered the room.
"Hi", he greeted cheerily and walked over to his bed, grinning at Peter.
"You must be... Parker right?"
Peter nodded. "Call me Peter", he said with a laugh and the boy replied: "I'm Wong. I know, sounds silly."
He sat down and looked at Peter somewhat expectantly. Peter shook his head. "No, it doesn't. I like Wong."
Wong chuckles happily and pulled a book out of his bag.
"I'm already looking forward to the history lessons. Stephen said the teacher was amazing."
Peter nodded, confused by someone being so enthusiastic about school. "I guess I'm going to go eat my lunch now. Anybody joining?", he then asked with a quick glance on his watch. It said 2pm and he felt hungry.
Ned shook his head. "Sorry man. This is very exciting right now."
Wong also declined, saying, he wanted to read, so Peter went out of the room on his own, hoping not to get lost in the huge building.
