"You really think I'm letting you do this?"

HYDRA had taken some SHIELD agents hostage and I was sitting in the conference room with the Avengers, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, and Phil Coulson. We were waiting to see if they would communicate with us.

After about ten minutes of waiting, HYDRA said that they would only let the SHIELD agents go if they got me. My eyes widened when they said that and I looked at everyone. My eyes met the blue eyes of Steve Rogers and he didn't look happy with what they demanded.

HYRDA was interested in my powers. I was born with healing capabilities and the ability to control the four elements. They have been trying to capture me so they can experiment on me and get my powers so they could give them to everyone.

"We can't do that," Steve said sternly.

"We are not doing that Rogers. SHIELD does not negotiate, especially with HYDRA," Fury says.

After we all talked about what we would try and do to rescue the SHIELD agents that HYDRA was holding hostage. We all went to bed and I could not sleep. I knew that the only way that HYDRA would free those agents were if I went to them. I got out of bed quietly and walked through the hallway only to bump into someone.

"Move out of the way Steve," I said as I tried to push past him.

"You really think I'm going to let you do this
(Y/N)?" Steve asked and he held me back, preventing me from leaving.

"Steve! Those agents need to be let go. HYDRA will not let them go if they don't get me. I have to do this," I raised my voice and I tried to move past him again.

"I'm not letting you leave (Y/N)! I love you too much!" Steve raised his voice at me. I looked up at him confused.

"You love me?" I asked shocked.

Steve blushed and nodded. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my lips to his. He kissed back immediately.
After the kiss he looked at me and smiled.

"I promise you we will free those agents. You're not going to surrender yourself to HYDRA," Steve said sternly. I nodded and hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry Steve," I said into his chest.

"It's going to be ok," he cooed and he kissed the top of my head as he held me close to him.
