ϟScarsϟ

Tony: Tony hated his arc reactor. He thought it was ugly, and that it made him into a monster. You thought it was beautiful, and you told him that as much as you could. He never believed you.

You caught him glaring at it, and you kissed his cheek. "Tony, that arc reactor is not ugly." He looked at you, desperate and confused. "How? It's destructive, it makes me destructive. It makes me a machine." He said, and you held his hand. "Tony. It's beautiful, because it keeps you alive. You are not a machine. A machine could never make me feel the way you make me feel. You are not destructive. You are creative and intelligent and romantic, not destructive."

He looked at you, his eyes brightening as he smiled slightly. "God, I love you." He said as he kissed you. You pulled away and placed your forehead to his. You used your finger to trace the outline of the arc reactor, as you smiled up at him. "Same here, Starkie."

Steve: Steve had scars from the war; mentally and physically. You knew how it hurt him to look at them, and even how much more it hurt him to remember the stories behind them.

He stood in the mirror, tears in his eyes as he looked over the scars on his torso and chest. The scars from when he fell in the water. You wrapped your arms around his waist from behind and laid your head on his back. He placed his hand over yours as you intertwined your fingers with his. You could tell that he still felt bad, so you remembered a quote you had read a long time ago.

"Be proud of all the scars in your life. Each one holds a lifetime worth of lessons." You said, and he looked back at you and smiled.

♡♡♡

Bucky: The scars that connected the metal arm to his body, were the one's he hated the worst. He hated having them, a reminder of how he was a monster and a weapon. You never thought of the scars that way. You thought they were a sign of his strength and courage.

He buried his head in his hands as the tears rolled down his eyes. You knelt down in front of him, cupping his face in your hands. He looked at you, his tears still pouring down his face. "I'm a monster." He said. "No, you're not! You're strong, and kind, and wonderful. You are not a monster. The only real monster is Hydra." You said, wiping tears from his cheeks. He looked at you, searching for something in your eyes. "How could you love me?" He asked.

"I love you because you are charming, romantic, generous, loving, and most of all, wonderful. You are the greatest man that I have ever met, and I love you because you bring me happiness." You said, kissing his lips softly. He pulled away and held you, and you both sat there for a long time, loving the silence.

♡♡♡

Bruce: Bruce hated himself. He hated Hulk, and he hated that he let something take control over him. He had scars and stretch marks all over his body from when Hulk had come out. You loved each and every single one of them.

He sat on the edge of your shared bed, his head buried in his hands as his shirt was off, revealing all of his scars and stretch marks. Some were very large, while others were tiny, but still noticeable. You sat behind him, your arms and legs wrapped around him as you planted soft kisses along each scar. You traced patterns along his tummy, making him smile a bit.

"I love you." You said softly. He smiled slowly, as he took your hand in his. "I love you too, Y/N."

♡♡♡

Thor: Thor had never been truly disappointed in his scars, but from time to time, he did get very insecure about them.

He stared down at his hands, the same hands that had slaughtered millions of species and creatures. You walked into the room, soon worried as you saw his exhausted form. You sat down in front of him, looking into his eyes for an answer to the questions forming in your mind. You saw the look of regret and pain in his eyes, and you knew why he felt bad, for you had that look on your face many times before. You kissed him tenderly, as you held his hand in yours. "Your scars make you stronger, Thor. You know who told me that? You."

He looked at you, smiling slightly at the memory. "I know, Lady Y/N. We must not be ashamed of the things that make us stronger." He said, and you nodded at his words. He kissed you again, thanking you for making him feel better.

♡♡♡

Loki: Loki hated his Jotunn form. It made him think of the horrible things that people had told him about Jotunns, and the horrible things his own brother had said about them. It made him believe that he is a monster.

You slept, snoring softly as Loki held you in his arms. The memories of the horrible things flooded back to him as he stared down at you, his Jotunn form returning to him. The cold touch of his hand, sent chills down your spine, as you woke up. You stared up at him, knowing what had happened. He stood up from the bed, upset at himself for waking you up. You stood up slowly, wrapping your arms around him before he could do anything else. He looked down at you, now calming back down.

"Thank you, My Queen." He said, after finally calming down. You looked up at him as you smiled. "Anytime, My King."

♡♡♡

Peter: Peter never really thought about his scars unless he was receiving them. It was usually up to you to take care of him and make sure that he didn't get himself killed.

He sat on the bathroom sink, as you took care of some of his wounds. He had just gotten back from a nasty fight, and you were tending to his wounds like always. You muttered things like "You need to take care of yourself" and "I was so worried" as you worked, making Peter feel a little guilty. He looked down at you, seeing the worry and pain in your eyes as you cleaned up some of his cuts. He grabbed you gently by the chin and tilted your face upwards.

He kissed you gently as you slowly kissed back. He pulled away and looked at you with loving eyes. "I'm sorry that you have to put up with me. I promise I'll take better care of myself during a fight, and I'm sorry that I made you worry." You smiled softly at him and kissed his cheek. "Don't apologize. I know what I signed up for when I became your girlfriend and best friend."

♡♡♡

Clint: Clint was very insecure of the scars on his arms. He didn't really express his insecurity much, but you knew. A girlfriend always knows.

He ran his hand across his arms, the stretch marks and white scars evident. You walked up to him, concern and sincerity in your eyes. He stood in front of a mirror, and looked up to see your worried face. He gave you a forced smile, to which you only frowned at. You reached and grabbed his arm, planting a soft kiss on one of the scars. You looked up at him, and a small smile grew on his face. "I like your scars. They tell stories that words can never explain." You said, his smile growing larger at your words.

He put his hands on your waist, and you wrapped your arms around his neck. "I love you, Babe." He said, to which you smiled. "I love you too, Robin Hood."

♡♡♡

Natasha: Natasha was very insecure, to your surprise. She had scars that covered her body, and stretch marks around her waist. You found every one of her scars beautiful, to her surprise.

She stared down at her body, wondering why the scars hadn't faded yet. She wanted them to fade. She needed them to fade. You walked into the room, immediately recognizing what she was doing. You walked in front of and place a kiss on her lips. "You are beautiful, Natasha. Your scars are perfect flaws, and you need to accept them." She smiled at you and kissed you.

♡♡♡

Wanda: Wanda had scars from when Hydra had experimented on her. She absolutely loathed them. She thought they were ugly, and had made her into a monster.

She looked at you, tears in her beautiful eyes. "I am a monster, Y/N." You shook your head 'no', and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Wanda, you are not a monster. You are a beautiful, wonderful, magnificent woman that deserves more than the world. You are fantastic, and Hydra can go fuck itself for giving you those scars." She smiled weakly, but you could tell she still felt horrible.

You kissed her gently on the mouth, and she felt a little better. You pressed her forehead to her's, and smiled down at her. "I love you, Wanda Maximoff." You said. "I love you, too. Y/N."

♡♡♡

Pietro: Pietro had scars along his back from when he had gotten shot and survived (he walked it off) the Ultron attack. He hated the scars. They reminded him of how he almost lost his life and all of his friends and family.

You kissed between his shoulder blades, where most of the scars laid. You kissed down his back, and stopped when you finally reached the last scar. He kissed your cheek when you sat in front of him, and he pulled you into his lap. You both sat there in comforting silence, something you didn't get quite often with Pietro.

♡♡♡

T'Challa: T'Challa had scars from when he first used the suit. The suit could not protect him from everything, so there were things that were bound to wind up hitting him.

The scars that covered his legs were the ones he hated the most. You loved them. You traced your fingers along the pattern of scars on his legs. He looked at you, his worries now drifting far away. You loved to see him, 'de-stress'. The whole process made you smile. The way his eyes lit up, the way his smile seemed to become softer. You loved it.

He kissed you softly, a thank you for making him feel loved, and making him hate his scars less.

♡♡♡

Scott: Scott had ended up with a lot of scars while in prison. Most were from fights with other inmates, others from just running into things or people. You loved them, and you loved the stories behind them, even though he was ashamed of a few of them.

He looked down at you, the way you traced his scars that lingered on his face, made him smile. He loved how mesmerized you were with them, and loved how you treated each scar with care. You had suggested drawing him, but you needed to get to know his face better. Somehow, you ended up drawing shapes and patterns across his face and scars. Scott didn't mind though. He thought it was amazing how you loved his scars, instead of hating them for how he got them.

♡♡♡

Sam: Sam had scars from when he fought in the military and when he went on missions for S.H.I.E.L.D. He also had PTSD, which was also a major scar itself. You loved his scars though, and you thought it was brave of him to fight for his country.

You kissed his scars, making him blush slightly, and smile at the same time. He loved that you could accept him with his scars and PTSD. Even though he sometimes felt insecure about them, you reminded him of how his scars were lovely and how he did an honorable thing and served his country. You make him special and important. You make him love his scars.

♡♡♡
