      Morning finally came and Emma woke up. Tony wasn't here yet saying he was in a meeting but would come and get her as soon as possible. Instead Emma head to Shield headquarters where the meeting was at. Before she got there, all the Avengers even Loki was there. Nick Fury was about to announce the reason for the meeting when the door opened and Tony's drop seeing Emma. Both of her eyes were bruised and on her arms.

Tony's heart sank when he saw Emma. He immediately ran over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. He could tell something was wrong, but he didn't know what. He looked at Nick Fury and said "What happened to Emma? Why are her eyes bruised and her arms hurt?"

Loki was concerned also but didn't come over as the other Avengers did so.

"....," Emma didn't speak.

"Did your mother do this to you, Emma?" Nick Fury asked.

Emma slowly nodded. "Because we had a fight..."

Tony's expression turns angry and he turns to Nick Fury, "Why wasn't I informed of this? Emma is my daughter and I have the right to know if she's being abused by her mother. I'm taking her back to the tower immediately."

"Dad....she...she is forcing me into an arranged marriage..."

*Tony is shocked and angry. He looks at Emma and asks* "Who is she forcing you to marry?"

"Some rich man named Mr Barns." "Mr Barns?" Dr Strange asked.

Dr. Strange's expression turns serious, "I've heard of him. That's a fake name, his real name is Victor Von Doom." Tony's eyes widened. He knew that name.

"Victor Von Doom?" Emma shivered.

"He's a powerful and dangerous villain. I've fought him before. And if he's forcing you to marry him, then that means he has plans for you. We need to get you out of here and away from him as soon as possible." Tony said.

Loki was now worried and ran to Emma and hugged her. Emma hugged Loki back tightly, feeling safe in his arms. She was grateful that he was there for her. She was also glad that he was worried about her. Tony looked at Loki and asked, "What are you doing here, Loki?"

Nick Fury rolled his eyes. "He's part of the team now damn it."

Tony sighs and looks at Loki, "Fine. But keep your distance from my daughter. I don't want you to hurt her.

Loki holds Emma close and whispers to her, "Don't worry, Emma. I'll protect you. I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise." He gently wipes away her tears and smiles at her."

She looked up at him crying. "I don't want to marry Doom...I don't." Loki had an idea. It was stupid since they met on Thursday, but he knelt down. The avengers watched him in shock and Emma was nervous wondering what he was doing.

Loki takes a deep breath and asks, "Emma, will you marry me instead of Doom? I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I've already grown to care for you and I don't want to see you get hurt. I can protect you and make sure you're happy. Will you be my wife?"

"No no no!" Tony yelled, but Captain America and Nick Fury stopped him.

Everyone in the room is stunned by Loki's proposal. Emma is speechless, she can't believe that Loki would ask her to marry him. She looks at him and smiles, feeling overwhelmed with emotions. Tony is furious and tries to break free from Captain America and Nick Fury's grasp, but they hold him back.

"If there's anyone I could marry in the world, it would you. You're being a hero now, Loki. You're saving me." Emma teared up.

Loki smiles at Emma and holds her hand, "I'll always be here to save you, Emma. I'll never let anyone hurt you again. So, will you marry me?"

Emma nodded tearing up more. "Yes."

Loki's eyes light up with joy. He pulls Emma into a tight hug and kisses her on the forehead, "I love you, Emma. I promise I'll make you happy and protect you forever."

"No I won't allow this!" Tony yelled, but Thor walked up to Tony as Loki held Emma comforting her.

Thor places his hand on Tony's shoulder and looks at him with a serious expression, "Tony, calm down. Loki is a good man now and he loves Emma. He's not going to hurt her. Let them be together."

"They only known each other 1 day. 1 day! And she's only 18!" Ton frowned.

"Do you rather want her to marry Dr Doom?" Nick Fury asked.

"No, of course not. But this is too fast. Loki is a god, he could have anyone he wants. Why does he want Emma? I don't trust him. I don't want him to hurt her."

"He probably won't," Black Widow said. "Natasha is right, if he would, he would've done it now," Thor said.

Tony looks at Thor and Natasha, but still seems unsure. He turns to Emma, "Emma, do you really want to marry Loki? Do you love him?"

Tony sighs and walks over to Emma. He hugs her and whispers, "I know, sweetheart. I just want what's best for you. If you really want to marry Loki, then I'll support you. Just promise me you'll be careful."

"I will be. I don't have feelings for him now, but maybe I will learn to."

Tony smiles at Emma and kisses her on the forehead, "I love you, Emma. And I'm glad you're going to be safe with Loki. Just promise me you'll call me if anything happens, okay?"

"I will."

Tony nods and walks over to Loki. He puts his hand on his shoulder and says, "I'm trusting you, Loki. Take care of my daughter."

"You had my word, Mr Stark." Loki nodded.

Tony smiles and turns to leave the room, but he stops and turns back to Loki and Emma, "One more thing. I want to see a ring on Emma's finger."

Loki chuckled.

"And another! Dont have sex with until she is 20." Tony added.

"Dad! Not infront everyone!" Emma yelled.

Everyone in the room bursts out laughing. Thor walks over to Loki and pats him on the back, "You heard the man, Loki. Keep it PG-13."

Loki just rolled his eyes. "But the wedding has to wait, our father Odin told us he needs us for a mission, so Loki and I will be back. And...I'm sorry but cell phones don't work in Asgard." Thor pointed out.

Everyone looks surprised when Thor mentions Asgard, "Wait, you guys are going to Asgard? What kind of mission?"

"The frost giants caused trouble again, so Loki and I and some friends of ours have to stop them. Ok, Loki, where's the Tesseract?"

Loki pulls the Tesseract out of his pocket and hands it to Thor, "It's right here. Are you ready to go?"

"Yes, but you probably should tell your fiancé goodbye," Thor then puckered his lips making kissing noises.

Loki blushes and smiles at Emma. He walks over to her and takes her hands in his, "I'll be back soon, Emma. Just wait for me. I promise I'll be back as soon as I can. I love you."

Emma nodded and hugged him tightly. Please comeback before the 13th, Loki." Emma sniffled.

Loki hugs Emma back tightly and kisses her on the forehead, "I'll be back before the 13th, I promise. And I'll bring you a gift from Asgard. I love you, Emma."

Emma grabbed his face and kissed him passionately.

Loki is taken aback by Emma's sudden kiss, but he quickly melts into it. He wraps his arms around her and kisses her back with equal passion. Everyone in the room watches in shock and amazement.

"I will return to you safely, my love," Loki said. Taking her hand and kissed it, "You have my word."

Emma teared up slightly, but Loki brushed them away as he looked into her eyes. Loki smiles at her reassuringly. He then turns to Thor and says, "Let's go, brother. We have a mission to complete."

Thor nodded. They both held the Tesseract. Loki turned to Emma as Thor and Loki disappeared infront of the Avengers and Emma. Emma started to cry. She already missed him and even worried about if he wouldn't make it in time. Tony came to her.

Tony pulls Emma into a hug and strokes her hair, "Shhhh. It's okay, Emma. Loki will be back. He always keeps his promises. I know it's hard to let him go, but you need to trust him."

Dr. Strange looks at Emma with a concerned look, "Emma, I understand that you're worried, but you need to have faith in Loki. He is a powerful sorcerer and he has the Tesseract with him. He'll be fine. And even if something does happen, we'll find a way to get him back. I promise."

"And we will protect you," Black Widow smiled reassuringly. Hawkeye nodded. Emma then turned to Tony as Captain America even nodded and Bruce Banner. Everyone smiles at Emma, reassuring her that she's safe and that they will protect her. She feels a bit better, but she still can't help but worry about Loki. She hopes that he will return safely and that they can start their new life together. And make it before she was forced to marry Dr Doom.
