Emma walks in where her father Tony, the Avengers, Loki (Thor's Brother), and Nick Fury. It was a month after Loki caused chaos in New York (based on rhe Avengers first movie). But Loki has changed and Thor asked Nick Fury if Loki can join the Avengers. Nick Fury at first refused but asys he will think about it, so he leaves to talk to the headboard about the situation. After he leaves, all the avengers talk among themselves with Tony wether to trust him again. Emma then walk up to Loki.

"Hi. You must be Loki, I'm Emma."

"Yes, I am Loki. It is a pleasure to meet you, Emma," Loki bows slightly.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too. You seem a lot nicer and kind when you aren't causing trouble." She giggled.

"I have changed. I regret what I have done. But I am trying to make up for my mistakes," Loki looks at her and smiles.

"That's good to hear, Loki. I'm vey proud of you," Emma smiled.

"Thank you. I am glad that you are not mad at me. I know that I did a lot of wrong in the past. But I want to change and help the world."

Emma smiled again. She walked up and wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. "I know you will."

Loki was surprised at first but then hugged her back, "Thank you. That means a lot to me."

"Emma!" Emma tuned and saw Tony.

"Dad!" She ran up to him and hugged him.

"Emma, what are you doing?" Tony hugs Emma back, surprised to see that she hugged Loki.

"Mom said it was ok, so I stopped by. Plus Agent Hill let me walk in," Emma giggled.

"Oh, I see. I am just surprised to see you hugging Loki," Tony looks at Loki with suspicion.

"Being nice to Loki?" Tony seems surprised and a little bit angry, "You do know what he did, right?"

"Yeah, but he is changing, and possible he will be given a second chance. I know he will."

Tony sighed, "I guess you're right. But I am still going to be keeping an eye on him. You never know what he might do," Tony looks at Loki with a stern look on his face."

"Dad, that's not nice," Emma crossed her arms.

Tony looked at her, "Emma, I am just being cautious. I can't let my guard down around him. Not after what he did."

"I can reassure you, Mr Stark, it won't happen again," Loki said.

Tony frowned at him, "We'll see. I still have to discuss this with the others. You better not let me down, Loki." Tony looks at Emma and smiles, "Now, let's go. I have a meeting with Nick Fury."

"He should be done by now. We'll just go check up on him. Come on." Tony starts walking towards the meeting room.

Just then Nick Fury stepped out. "I assume you came looking for me?"

"Yes, Nick. I need to discuss something with you," Tony looks at Emma, "You should wait outside, Emma."

"Can I talk to Loki more?" Tony said no, but Nicky Fury said yes all at the same time. "thank you, Mr Fury!" Emma went to Loki and takes his hand. "I can show you around the place Loki!"

"That would be great, Emma. I would love to see the place," Loki smiles at Emma and follows her.

"What the hell was that?" Tony frowned at Nick Fury.

"Tony, I think Emma is right. Loki has changed and I think we should give him a second chance," Nick Fury looks at Tony with a stern look, "If you don't agree, I will have to overrule you."

"That's understandable. But you need to trust Emma's judgment. She has a good eye for people. She saw the good in Loki when nobody else did."

Tony sighed and nodded, "She is a pretty smart girl, she did graduate early anyway."

Nick Fury smiled, "She definitely is. She's a very bright girl. I think she will be a great asset to the Avengers. And I think Loki will be too."

"Well technically Emma says she wants to just help behind closed doors. Her best friend Eddie is going in to be a scientist to help out with heroes also," Tony pointed out.

Nick Fury nodded, "That is good to hear. We need more people like that in the world. People who want to help without the fame or glory. I think we should recruit Eddie as well. He sounds like a great addition to the team."

"Yeah once he is finished in college. He wants to focus on his work before joining the Avengers." Tony added.

Nick Fury nodded, "Understandable. We can't just force people to join the Avengers. They have to make that choice themselves. But I am looking forward to seeing what Eddie can bring to the team."

Emma took Loki to the training room, there Thor and Hawkeye were training. Loki watches as Thor and Hawkeye train, impressed by their skills, "Those two are very skilled. It must take a lot of dedication and practice to become that good."

"I bet just as strong as your brother." Emma smiled.

"Thor is very strong. But he has had a lot more time to train and practice. I am still working on controlling my powers and learning to fight properly. But I am getting better."

"Really? I wanna see!" Emma takes Loki's hand and leads him inside the training room.

Loki follows Emma into the training room. He looks around at the various equipment and training dummies, "I suppose I could show you what I can do."

Emma giggled and sat in a chair excited to see what he could do. Loki steps in front of a training dummy and takes a deep breath. He concentrates on his powers and then fires a blast of energy at the dummy, causing it to explode, "That was one of my better shots. What do you think?"

Emma was amazed and clapped happily.

Loki smiles at Emma, pleased that she is impressed.

"Loki!" It was Steve Rogers aka Captain America, "did you do that?" He pointed at the dummy which was now a pile of ashes.

Loki then turns to Steve and nods, "Yes, I did. I am working on controlling my powers and learning to use them more effectively."

"...well, just be careful...now we need a new one." Steve sighed.

Loki looks sheepishly at Steve, "Sorry about that. I will try to be more careful next time. I didn't mean to destroy the training dummy."

"Why you made at him? You don't get mad when Thor or Mr Banner ruins the training dummies, Mr Rogers," Emma frowned slightly.

Steve turned to Emma, "Thor and Bruce have more control over their powers than Loki does. They know when to hold back and when to use their full strength. Loki is still learning how to control his powers and sometimes he loses control. That's why we need to be careful around him."

"He's trying, Mr Rogers. Don't be so hard on him."

"I know he is trying, Emma. I just want to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone. I know he has changed, but I still don't fully trust him. I want to make sure we are all safe."

Emma sighed and walked out her room angrily.

Loki notices Emma leaving and follows her, "Emma, wait. Don't be mad at Steve. He's just being cautious. He doesn't mean to be harsh."

Loki smiles at Emma and hugs her back, "Thank you, Emma. It means a lot to me that you trust me. And I will always be there for you as well. I promise."

"Of course," she rested her head on his chest.

Loki strokes her hair gently and smiles, "I am glad I met you, Emma. You have been very kind to me and I am grateful for that."

"You're welcome, Loki. I heard everything about you from Thor and I felt bad."

"You felt bad for me?" Loki seems surprised that Emma felt bad for him. He wasn't used to people being nice to him, especially after everything he had done in the past.

"Yeah, you felt like no one cares for you, you wanted to be king so badly, but you know what's better than being a king?"

"Having people and friends that truly care for you." Emma smiled.

Loki smiles back at Emma and nods, "You are right, Emma. Having friends and people who care about you is much better than being a king. I was so focused on getting power and control that I didn't realize how much I needed people to care for me."

Emma smiled and hugged him again with her head rested on his chest. Loki holds Emma close to him and runs his fingers through her hair. He feels safe and happy with her, something he hasn't felt in a long time.

Suddenly her phone went off. She pulled it out of her pocket and saw her biological mother texted a message saying, "aren't you supposed to be here for the weekend?" Emma sighed. "I-I have to go, Loki."

Loki was stunned, "You have to go? What about the weekend we were going to spend together? I thought we were going to hang out and have fun."

"I know but I forgot about these court events. I have to be visiting my biological mother for the weekend."

He then nodded, "Oh, okay. I understand. But promise me that we will hang out again soon. I don't want to lose touch with you. You are my best friend now."

"Of course," she writes down her number. "I know you don't have a phone, but here's my cellphone number." Emma then hugged him and kissed his cheek.

Loki smiles and takes the number. He looks down at the number and then looks back up at Emma, "Thank you, Emma. I will call you as soon as I get a phone. We will definitely hang out again soon."

Emma smiled and went to look for Tony after she waved goodbye to Loki.

Tony was in the training room with Steve, Bruce, and Thor. He was talking to them about the new training program they were going to start. Emma walks in and catches his attention.

"Uh, dad, my old mom texted. I forgot this weekend I am supposed to be with her until Monday."

Tony looks up at Emma and nods, "Oh, that's right. I forgot about that too. I guess you'll have to go see your mother. I'm sorry, sweetheart. I know you don't like going there."

Emma nodded, "she's just gonna smoke drink, and get hook up with another guy for money like always."

Tony frowns at Emma's description of her mother, "I know it's not ideal, but it's only for the weekend. You can handle it. I'm sure she will be better this time."

Emma nodded. Tony then go up and walked her to his car. They get in the car and Tony drives her to her mother's house. Emma is visibly nervous and doesn't say much on the way there. Tony tries to reassure her, "Don't worry, Emma. I'm sure everything will be fine. Just remember that you can call me if you need anything. I'll come get you as soon as possible."

Emma nodded. "Thanks, dad. I wish you and Pepper were my biological parents."

Tony smiles at Emma and puts his arm around her "You know, you can consider us your biological parents. We love you like you are our own daughter. We might not be blood related, but that doesn't matter. We are family."

Emma nodded and tried to smile.
