A/N: This is my entry to  Avengers Bingo Round 4.

You and Steve Rogers had shared many missions together for a long time. However, neither of you had been able to reveal your true feelings for each other.

One afternoon, after training, Steve was showing you some reports of the latest missions, and without realizing it, you ended up leaning against his body, and as soon as you realized it, you broke away.

"I'm sorry, I think I got a bit excited," you muttered, looking away, embarrassed.

"Don't worry about it," Steve replied with a nervous smile. "I think we should... keep training."

Later that week, during a mission together, you and Steve found yourselves trapped. You had been injured, and Steve took you in his arms to carry you to safety.

"Are you all right?" Steve asked in a concerned voice as he examined the wound. You nodded, although you weren't sure you were going to make it. "Does it hurt?"

"Steve, I love you," you suddenly confessed. Steve opened his eyes as wide as he could; he wasn't expecting anything like this.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine; I'll take care of it," he promised before you blacked out. "I love you too." Steve hoped you had caught that sentence.

Everything will be fine when you wake up.
