Prompt: You are Bruce's new lab assistant that Tony employed and you bump into him on your first day outside the lab.

I'm gonna be late, gonna be late.

You thought while walking into the Avengers tower. Your new job started at 9am and it's now 8:58am. The infamous Tony Stark had employed you after seeing your résumé was almost full of Science, English and Maths degrees (the rest was an A-Level in Drama but he ignored that). You love Science an was so pleased when you got a call back from Ton..Erm... Mr Stark. He insisted you called him Tony, but you're too polite for that.

You got into the lift (elevator for Americans (Hey American readers!)) whilst checking your watch again and again. You were never late for stuff and starting this amazing job. wasn't going to be the first time you were late. It couldn't be or else you'll lose it. So there you were, walking through the tower trying to get through the sea of people going about their daily business.

"Excuse me, can I have some help in here please?!" Someone yelled from inside a room. Being the kind person you are, you couldn't walk past them or the room. So you walked into the room dropping down your stuff to help him.

"Thank you so much" he said while you picked up his lose papers he had dropped and there were lots of them too.

"No problem" you replied picking yourself up off the ground after handing the pages back to him.

"So, erm, what's your business here at the tower?" He asked while scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, I'm Dr Banner's new lab assistance"

"Cool, hopefully I'll see you around, right?" He asked, hopefully.

"Yeah, hopefully," you said while swiftly leaving the room, "bye..?"

"Oh, erm, Lee"

"Bye Lee"

"Bye" and then you left, going back to your journey of finding the lab. And Bruce.

You checked your watch again.

9:02 am

You were late. Picking up the pace, and walking through the sea of people, you finally got to the lab. But before you could get the door, you bumped into a body. You looked up to see who the person was you had collided into and you were supposed to see a lab coat, the owner of which was your new boss, Dr Bruce Banner.

"Oh, oh sorry, Dr"

"No problem. You're (Y/N), right? Tony hired you"

"Y-yes, Dr" you stutter.

"Please, just Bruce. With people I work with, I go on a first name basis"

"Yeah, sure, Bruce"

"Okay, so shall we get to work?"

"Yeah, sure" you smiled, walking into the lab after him, excited for your first day of working with Bruce.
