Diana's POV

"Please tell me where the hell are we going. I had to hand over everything to Hyunjae and Jinyoung for this." I said, as I turned my head around to look at Jake, who was busy driving the car.

I was at my place, peacefully doing my work when my boyfriend suddenly decided to take me somewhere, after he shoved some of my clothes in a bag and threw it into the car, without even bothering to close the chain properly.

"I am telling you for the fourteenth time, it's a surprise." He said, as he glanced at me, a smile tugging his lips. I let out a frustrated sigh, as I looked out of the window, watching the greenery outside.

"Poor Hyunjae was just back from a holiday with his girlfriend. I had so much deals to take care of in the tour company-" I spoke but I stopped when suddenly I realised that the car had slowed down. I looked around, confused, as I realised we had stopped in middle of nowhere.

"For the past half an hour, you have been only yakking about how poor Hyunjae is, how busy your tour company is and how many deals to had to take care of." Jake said, his voice unnaturally calm. "If you don't want to join me, fine. I'm not forcing you." He said, as he laid back in his seat, placing his arms behind his head.

"Fine!" I said, as I unbuckled my seat belt. "Do what you want. I'll just go home from here." I said, as I got out of the car, closing the door shut with a loud bang. I looked at the fields, my arms crossed over my chest, as I fumed internally.

Suddenly, I heard the window of the car going down.

"I was thinking of having the sandwich which I packed for us while I played your favourite playlist in the car but it seems as if you are not interested." He said, as he looked up at me from the open window.

Jake's POV

I sat back on my seat properly, as I told Diana about the snacks and music. I was staring ahead at the road, tapping my fingers on the steering wheel when suddenly I heard the door of the car open. I turned around and saw Diana sitting on her seat, as she quickly closed the door.

"I hate you for doing this to me." She spat, as she buckled her seatbelt. I chuckled, as I started the car again, putting it on gear.

"And I love you too." I said, my chuckles turning into laughter, as I glanced at Diana. She shook her head, as she slowly started chuckling along with me.

"Diana?" I called out softly, as I removed my seat belt. I turned around, confused, after receiving no response, only to see her peacefully sleeping, her head rested on the window.

"Diana wake up. We reached." I said, as I leaned a bit towards her, shaking her a bit in order to wake her up. Soon after repeating it for a number of times, she stirred, waking up.

"What?" She asked, yawning, as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"We reached. Come on, get up." I said, as I quickly got out of the car. She nodded, as she opened the door of her side, getting out.

"Where the heck are- Oh my god." Diana said, as soon as she stood beside me, taking in the view in front of me. We were in the middle of a forest, which had a resort in it and currently, we were standing in front of our cottage, which was pretty secluded from the others. "This was the surprise?!" She exclaimed, as she whipped her head around to look at me.

"Yes." I said, proud of what I had done. "Remember the last time we spent time together? You told me that there were a lot of things which we haven't done, and which normal couples do like doing star gazing and all those things. So I thought why not give ourselves a chance?" I asked, shrugging my shoulders, as I looked at her intently for her response. "So, you like it?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

Diana just stood there, speechless, as she stared at the scene in front of her. Confused, I leaned forward to look at her face but realised that tears were streaming down her face, as she stared ahead in awe.

"No one has ever gifted me anything like this. It means so much to me." She said, as she wiped her tears. I smiled, as I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a hug.

"Now you can tell others how awesome you boyfriend is." I said, my statement making her burst out chuckling, as she nodded slowly.

Diana's POV

"I just realised how tired I am. I don't want this to end." I said, sighing, as I looked up in the night sky. One could literally see millions of stars from here. Jake sighed, as he shifted, pulling me closer to him. We both were lying down on the ground, as we watched the night sky.

"You can probably say the same for me." He said, as he turned his head to look at me. I nodded, as I looked up, smiling. "It's been so many days we have spent time like this." He said, as he continued to look at me.

"I know." I said, as I turned my head around, looking at him. "It's really difficult to date someone when you got an entire mafia and a company to take care of." I said, as I gave him a small sad smile.

"I was wondering," He said, as he lifted his head up, resting it on his palm. "Whether that could change." He said, as he looked at me, smiling, but his eyes told that he wanted to say something.

"How can it change?" I asked him, confused. "What will my men think? Their mafia boss is living with her boyfriend while she controls them from his house? No thank you, I think I'll pass." I said, chuckling, as I looked at Jake, my eyebrow raised. He chuckled softly, as he shook his head.

"I would like to make some changes to that sentence." He said, as he looked at me, his eyes twinkling under the moonlight. "Their mafia boss living in her own place while she visits her husband frequently." He said, grinning, showing off his teeth. I let out a loud gasp, as I looked at him, completely shocked.

"What? Do you mean-" I asked, but he cut me off as he gently placed his lips on mine, shutting me up.

"It has been more than three years since we are dating." He said, as he pulled apart, our foreheads touching. "I think I have probably done everything which I could do as a boyfriend, and now I want you to give me a chance as a husband, so that I can fulfill all my duties after being a one." He said, as he looked at me, smiling, his eyes glistening in tears. I let out a silent sob, as I nodded furiously, tears streaming down my face.

"Of course I'll give you a chance." I said, making Jake chuckle at the sight of me crying out of happiness. "I love you so much." I said, as I placed my hand on his cheek, softly stroking it with my thumb.

"I love you too." He said, before he pulled me closer by my waist, slamming his lips onto mine as we kissed under the stars.

Yeonjun's POV

"Do you guys know about the latest news?" Soobin asked, as he looked at all of us. I shook my head, as I furrowed his eyebrows and looked up at him.

"What is it?" I asked him, confused. He sighed, as he picked up a few papers from the table, and kept it in front of me. I leaned forward, as I picked up the file, flipping the pages in it.

"There is this new person, I don't know the name. She works for different mafias, mostly for Diana's enemies, in bringing confidential files or assassinating someone." He said, as he looked at everyone. I nodded, as I read the newspaper clippings in the files, which showed headlines about a few mysterious deaths, whose killer was yet not found.

"Got a photograph of her?" Taehyun asked, as he looked up at Soobin. He nodded, as he went back to the table, picking up a piece of paper.

"Got it today itself." He said, as he placed the picture on the center table. I leaned forward, as I looked at the picture properly. There was a female, wearing black clothes, a cap and a mask as if she wanted to hide her face. 

The picture was a bit blurred as it was taken in action. I picked up the photograph and looked at it closely. My eyes widened, as the eyes of the female looked a bit familiar.

"It can't be." I whispered to myself, as I kept down the picture as I realised that

The last time I had seen those eyes was when I had seen Aerum for the last time.
