Past Few Months

Bianca's POV

Aunt Grace opened the school where she and the other scientists learnt Na'vi. While she and I taught Na'vi children our language. I took pictures of Aunt Grace teaching and she hanged them up. I now live at Home tree in my Avatar form leaving it there at night instead of returning to the base. At first Aunt Grace worried, but she soon grew used to it after a week. Aunt Grace also finished her book on the Na'vi and published it.

I have learnt more about what it's like to be a true Na'vi. Hunting, fighting, tracking, riding and trusting my own body. Aunt Grace makes sure I don't neglect my human body though. I've noticed Neytiri speaking to her mother and father in whispered conversations the past few weeks. But Sylwanin always distracted me by teaching me new words or taking me to a new place. I even joined the young hunters group with Sylwanin to help me learn more.

Recently though things have grown difficult between humans and the Na'vi. As humans were mining this rock or metal from the planet. Not caring about how it effects the environment. The Na'vi don't like it at all and fights have broken out occasionally. Aunt Grace and I have been trying to make a treaty with Sylwanin's tribe. But they don't want anything we have to offer.

Sylwanin has also been acting strange recently having whispered conversations with the other young hunters when I'm not around. I only know because I saw them one day and they stopped talking when I walked up to them. I think it has something to do with the unlawful mining of their planet. Right now I've been called to see Eytukan and Mo'at.

"Tutee see moe" I say hand on my heart bowing my head slightly.

"We see you" Mo'at says smiling gently at me.

"Why am I here?" I ask in English.

"You have progressed far in your knowledge of our ways" she tells me.

"Thank you" I say smiling.

"We wish to offer you a choose" Eytukan states.

"You can continue to stay here as a true Na'vi or continue your life in two different bodies" Mo'at explains.

"But that'd be impossible right?" I ask confused.

"Not for Eywa" Eytukan tells me.

"We'd take you to our most secrete of places and perform a ritual. It'd transfer all that you are from your human body into your Na'vi one. It will be dangerous though" Mo'at explains.

"You must pass through the eye of Eywa and return" Eytukan clarifies.

"But you are very strong Zukika and we would not offer you this if we did not trust you" Mo'at assures me.

"However, if you choose this life. You will be practically apart of the tribe and must follow our rules. You cannot see the sky-people without permission" Eytukan states.

"So if I choose this life, I am practically leaving my other life behind for good" I say.

"We know this is a hard choice for one so young and that Grace is the only family you have left. But you are part of our family now also" Mo'at tells me.

"It wouldn't be easy getting my human body away from the base" I tell them.

"Tell them Sylwanin wished to see it and come out to the school with your aunt in human form. We'll handle it from there" Eytukan tells me.

"What is your decision Zukika?" Mo'at asks and I think about my choices. I know no matter what decision I make, Aunt Grace would be proud of me. But I also know if things get worse between the two people. I may never be allowed to see her again. But all my life I felt lost like I did not belong until I came here and meet the Na'vi.

"I'll do it, but we have to plan this out carefully" I tell them.

"I will go speak with Neytiri and Tsu'tey" Eytukan states leaving me with Mo'at.

"Sylwanin, she said yes" Mo'at says and I'm tackled to the ground by a cheerful Sylwanin. Mo'at laughs quietly as I hug Sylwanin back.

"We're going to be sisters!" Sylwanin cheers.

"We're already sisters Sylwanin" I tell her smiling as we get up. "Let's go hunt" I state and we leave home tree. It's our job to hunt for the tribes food today. We soon track down a lone Hexapede and I load my bow. I got it, but did not kill it as I approach it taking out my knife. "Tutee see moe ketuwong , sì irayo" I say plunging the knife into it killing it. (Translation: I see you Brother, and thank you). "Your tirea goes with tsleng. Your tokx stays behind to slu hapxì of the Na'vi"I finish removing my arrow. (Translation: Your spirit goes with Eywa. Your body stays behind to become part of The People).

"A clean kill" Neytiri says from behind us and I look up surprised. "You're ready Zukika" she tells me smiling gently.

"For what?" I ask confused as Sylwanin squeals happily.

"You are getting your own Ikran" Sylwanin states.

"Are you sure Neytiri?" I ask.

"Yes, you made a clean kill" she states gesturing to the Hexapede.

"She is correct" Tsu'tey says jumping down beside her. "But getting your own Ikran won't be easy" he tells me. Then picks up the dead Hexapede and we make our way back to Home tree. Where Eytukan and Mo'at were informed of my first clean kill. There was a small celebration in my honour that night.
