***
Aang-
You and Aang had hung out almost every chance you got, weither it was walks during the upper ring levels of Ba Sing Se, drinking tea, or sitting down in a garden listening to Aang as he told about his major fight with the ex-Fire Lord, you enjoyed every moment of it.
As for Aang, any moment spent with you was something he secretly treasured.
Today was different...here you were, in your afternoon dress attire, grabbing anything you could on the ground while Aang was LITERALLY dragging your from the front door of the estate towards the man beast of a flying bison that awaited you several feet away.
"it'll...be...fun!" He grumbled dragging you by your feet as you held your grip on a stone, refusing to let go. Truth be told that you were afraid of heights.
"NE-..VER!" You screamed still keeping a strong grip on the stone.
That flying lemur of his was watching in curiosity as you held a strong grip onto the boulder. Next thing you knew he was sitting on top with the most innocent look on the animal's face.
Your eyes widened in panic, "MOMO..NO..."
Aang felt somewhat relived that Momo had agreed to help since it looked like you weren't letting go from that boulder any time soon. Yeah he could've just air bended, or earth bend you on top of Appa, but this was more appealing. Plus he did love a good challenge, and you certainly met his standards.
So now, you were on top of a flying bison, holding onto the saddle for dear life, and shutting your eye lids fearing the worst.
"Let's just get this over with!" You shrieked. Aang chuckled as he shook his head "Y/n, we aren't even off the ground yet." He then air bended himself swiftly on top where he held the reigns.
"Appa, yip yip!"
What you felt next was astounding, a rush of air blew at your face, yet you still kept your eye lids shut. It all seemed nice, and you opened your right eyelid and still keeping the other shut to find Aang sitting on the other side of the saddle with a smile on his face.
"Wait! Shouldn't you be driving this?! What if we crash or something!" You exclaimed nervously.
"Apps knows where he's going. Don't you boy?" He yelled, which in return, earned you both a loud roar from Appa.
You knew you were going to regret it, but slowly, very slowly, you removed your grip from the saddle and shuffled around to find a comfortable spot to sit, which was obviously on the other side of the saddle, away from Aang, so you could hug your knees and bury your red face for looking like a complete fool since you were practically dragged onto a flying bison.
Sure the awkward silence was awkward, and sure you did now enjoy being hundreds of feet in the air, but you had said nothing since you found yourself comfortable. And you were starting to feel bad due to Aang not saying anything for the past 5 minutes.
"You know you can look up now?" Aang said nervously, in fear that maybe this wasn't such a good idea.
Slowly you lifted your non red face and your eyes suddenly widened at the sky around you. You hadn't realized that you spent your whole day with Aang, that the sun was starting to set. The colors of sunset collided with the wispy formed clouds, and you just couldn't keep from marveling at the sight.
"I can't believe you did this every day!" You said, finally looking at Aang with a smile stretched on your face and glint of awe in your eyes.
He couldn't help but marvel as the way your eyes were filled with excitement, the way your h/c hair ricocheted as the wind hit it.
"If you think this is great, I should take you to see sunsets during the summer solstice." Aang replied with a hint of excitement as well.
You turned to look at him with fondness in your eyes, and he returned your gaze with one of his own.
For a moment it all seemed perfect, until your stupid conscious kicked in...
Wow, he has really nice gray eyes, oh and I bet that if I even got to hug him, it'd be-wait...gosh I probably look like a doofus right now.
It seemed as if you both knew you were staring at each other for longer than intended that both of you averted gazes and looked away from each other. Faint blushes spread on your cheeks, the silence returned once more.
Yet this time, it was far more welcoming.
Sokka-
"Hey I did too have a space sword!" Sokka argued as you two walked around the village to get towards the end where the water met the frozen ice.
"Yeah right and I can Earth bend!" you chuckled as you placed your hand on your hip, pleased with your retort.
Sokka's facial expression was twisted with annoyance as he suddenly realized you didn't believe he once owned an indestructible sword.
"Look Sokka, all I'm trying to tell you is that there is no way someone can forge an indestructible sword like the one you described, no way there's some magical rock that's indestructible. No rock on this planet is possible of that type of durability." You finished with your claim as you turned your heel.
Sokka was far beyond ready to prove you wrong as he tried to stop you from waking away.
Like I said...tried
"HEY JUST WAIT ONE SECOND, I-.."
With a no breather, it was likely that he stumbled, tripped, or slipped as he tried to face you towards him. Which only ended up with you two on the ground. You on the bottom with your hair spiraled over the snow. Sokka on top, his arms propping him up and his right knee in between your legs, your faces inches apart.
Both of you seemed aware of the situation, blushes spread across your faces, neither of you said a word, or so you thought it was going to be like.
"So...about the sword.." Sokka continued as your narrowed your eyes in annoyance.
Zuko-
"Why are you so nervous around Zuko?" Suki asked as she took a sip from her cold lemon tea. Apparently iced tea was becoming a big hit in the Fire Nation.
"It's not that I'm nervous Suki" you replied as you dropped from your headstand and plopped onto the cool grass.
"So then what is it?" She asked with her brow raised in curiosity. You sighed "well he is royalty, and I'm the commoner serving the royals" you replied, but deep down you knew damn well that wasn't the real reason.
"You do realize he's a human being too, he's one of us.." Suki started and rambled off with her "You-can-talk-to-Zuko-without-running-away-because-he's-a-normal-person-too" speech.
Your mind was filled with scenarios with the Royal you knew you had zero chance with.
And to be completely honest, Zuko had the same thought as you.
So it was by no accident that you two found yourselves in the awkward situation of Zuko seeing you half dressed.
Your first instinct was to scream and run away. But you took an alternative, with the water in your canteen hanging on your side, which you kept at all times, you shoved Zuko out of the way making him stumble, and then pinned Zuko arm by the sleeve with icicles using your water bending to pin his sleeve onto the wall before you ran into your bedroom quarter which was only two doors down.
"UHM A LITTLE PRIVACY?!" You screamed as you shut the door to your room. At least you had your bindings on your chest with your shorts that barely reached your knees.
Zuko on the other hand had his hand immediately covering his eyes with a dark red shade over his face, redder than the red carpet on the floor.
Your hair was loosely hung over your shoulders as you kept your back to your door as you breathed heavily.
"I-I swear I didn't see anything!" Zuko exclaimed from the other side, probably already out of the icicles you jammed into his sleeve.
"What were you doing down this hallway anyways! This is the women's bedroom quarters!" You shouted back a bit angrily.
"Hey! I was just going to ask Suki for a favor! I didn't realize I'd bump into- Ah forget it!" Zuko yelled back annoyed.
You pressed your ear to the door, you could hear the footsteps Zuko was taking and without thinking...
"HEY, SORRY FOR YELLING AT YOU LIKE THAT!" You yelled hoping that he'd hear and feeling guilty for icing his wrist and probably tearing his sleeve.
Zuko stopped and sighed before he went into thought with a slight smile.
You were definitely gonna be the end of him.

So how's that for an update?
