Yes the 100 year war was over! It was finally a new Era of peace and happiness, just as Prince- wait no, Fire Lord Zuko, had stated at his coronation ceremony. You couldn't go because, well you were a new recruit as a Kioshi warrior. You were sent along with Ti-Lee and Suki as the Fire Lords new guards, because recently after the Di-lee were all sent away, the Fire Lord needed new guards.....

(On boat)

"Are we there yet!" You yell, Suki laughs, "Almost Y/n, almost!"
You honestly didn't know much about Fire Lord Zuko, only Ti-lee and Suki knew.....

"On a touchy subject......but tell me again who this Zuko is?" You ask Ti-Lee and Suki.

"Well he's the Fire Lord, uhhhh has a psychotic sister that's my ex-best friend..." Ti-lee said. You had your face full of confusion.

"What Ti-Lee was trying to say, was that he's one of the people that helped the avatar save the world, and now he's the Fire Lord, he's had a trouble past, but now he's good." Suki explains. Then you three arrive at the dock, from then you three walk on foot until you arrive at a huge Palace.

"Is this where we're gonna stay?" You ask as you look at the palce in awe.

"Yup!" Ti-Lee exclaims. Suki nods.
You three enter the palace and walk inside. "Y/n you go left to the courtyards, Ti-Lee you take the right, and I'll go inside, got it?" Suki says. You two nod as you go to your places to stand guard.

You walk towards the courtyard to see  a pond with baby turtle-ducks and their mom, you could've died of happiness from the slight as you were walking towards them, but instead you were knocked over by something fairly large.
And you fall into the pond with a splash!

"Hey! Watch it!" You yell, getting up using your waterbending to get rid of the water from your clothing,

(Yes you're a waterbender, southern tribe: THATS ALL IM TELLING YOU!)

"Well I was! I don't know about you..." The boy says, you look up to see a boy dressed formally.

"Hey listen here! I'm here to act as guard for the palace and Fire Lord, I don't know who the heck you are, but beat it!" You say placing a hand on your hip, the boy looks at you shocked,
and then Ti-Lee and Suki rush towards you.

"Y/n! Are you okay!" Ti-Lee says.
You waterbend the rest of the water that's in your hair out and place it back into the pond.

"This idiot over here knocked me into the pond" you say gesturing to the boy in front of you who's now shocked. The two girls look at you wide eyed and try to keep a smile on.
"Y/n......what are you saying....." Ty-Lee says nervously. Your confused,

"Y/n, this guy right here......is Zuko...The Fire Lord...." Suki says emphasizing on the words Fire Lord.....

Wait....I didn't just....Welp I'm screwed!!!!! You panic internally.

You meet gazes with Zuko and instantly, your face flushed pink....
"M-my apologies, Fire Lord Zuko" You say and bow in respect.
"That's okay, please, just call me Zuko" he says...

"This is Y/n, the newest Kioshi warrior" Suki says,
"She's as skilled as me and Suki combined! Plus, she's a waterbender" Adds Ti-Lee.

"Well I'm just..... gonna....um head this way.." You say going, and bumping into Zuko again.
"So sorry....again" you state running inside.

I've got to control my temper....especially around him.....
You think to yourself as you desperately try to find a bathroom.
Once you do you enter and look at yourself

Pull yourself together girl! You're fearless! Don't let a cute guy get in the way!

Wait! Did I just call him cute! AGH! Well he is cute....No, Y/n! Stop it!
You say to yourself as you give yourself a mini pep talk.

But he's cute........

Zuko's P.o.v:

I was walking mindlessly as I knocked a girl dressed in a Kioshi uniform into the pond, she fell in and started to yell, I was surprised at first but I mindlessly lost myself in her beautiful e/c eyes....

Wait! Stop it! You like Mai!

But I couldn't help but stare, and offer help of course....

But she continued...at least she did until Suki and Ti-Lee explained who I was, she instantly rushed inside and I couldn't help but smile at the thought that she was gonna be around me.....

"If you need anything just yell" Suki exclaimed.
"Wait what was her name again?" I asked wanting to hear her name again.

"Her name is Y/n" Ti-Lee replies going inside with Suki probably to find Y/n

Y/n.....such a lovely name.....
