Year 9,830 bg. The shadow benders are made when the link between Raava and Vaatu is severed.  Wan recruits them and gives them their purpose.

Year 3,828. The shadow benders form the shadow bender realm.  Continuing their quest to guard the avatars.

Year 345  The Shadow bender grand master played a neutral mediator role at the unrest of the water tribe. Before it split into the north and south poles.

The shadow benders helped the spread of the sun warrior culture making a bond between fire and shadow later helping form the fire nation.

Year 312 to 296

The shadow benders search for the new avatar unsuccessfully until they find avatar Kyoshi.

270 bg

The shadow benders fight with Avatar Kyoshi and the kyoshi warriors to kill the warlord Chin

0ag.  Air nomand refuges that escaped the slaughter seeked refuge in the shadow realm. Grand master Gf/n allowed this.  Sozin attempted to kill the refuges but even with Sozin's comet Sozin was no match for Gf/n.

79 ag F/n is the new grandmaster of the shadow realm given his father's death

85 ag Y/n and Azula were born in the same year.

87 Ursa betrothed Azula to Y/n with blessings from F/n since Ursa wanted Azula to have a better chance since Zuko was the heir apparent.
