Since the day of the discovery of the island of the infected it had become forbidden for anyone to step foot on that island since it's completely infected everyone was still wondering how did the infected reach the sea since infected can't swim or can they now is the virus evolving or did it mutated nobody knows how did infected got to the sea answers need to solve because it not a outbreak will happen and every sea villages will be tear down by the infected and the sea will fall to the infected

Right now at the infected island it was morning time the island was silent nothing is hear no laughter or singing just silents then there was a Biter walking through the island slowly until it found a body and it began to eat the body tearing through the skin to the flesh then the biter was suddenly hit by a crossbow bolt in the head and it died as it slowly moves to YN wearing his ghost mask as Hakon and Lawon are behind him as the three ghosts are fully geared up

YN: it's clear

The three former ghosts move in slowly through the island with their rifles ready and having their guard up slowly moving through the island keeping a eye out for any infected

Lawan: place is quiet

Hakon: too quiet

YN: you're right it's too quiet

Lawan: what are we looking here YN

YN: to find that cave me Tsireya and Tuk saw a Volatile coming out of maybe there's where the nest is at we found it and burn it

Hakon: never thought that we deal with the infected again

Lawan: same here I knew the forest is infected but how did the virus get all the way here infected can't swim for shit

YN: another thing how did they survive all this time all the way here without food for them

Hakon: cannibalism they're probably eating each other

Lawan: but how did they know eating each other would help them survive

YN: I don't know Lawan but my guess is the virus is somehow evolved or mutate I don't know but we gotta find out if we don't the sea will fall to the infected we're not gonna let that happen

Hakon: damn right

Lawan: just how we always do

YN: let's move

The three former ghosts move on through the island of infected looking for that cave that's must be a Volatile hive they have to find it and burn it down keeping from any infected from infected the sea as they move on they heard something from the bushes

Hakon: what was that

Lawan: infected

YN look though the bushes and he saw a heard

YN: There

With that YN quickly grabbed his last hope and throw at head as it land on a tree as the head took cover

???: yo YN bro it's me

The three ghosts recognize that voice knowing who it is

YN: Lo'ak

Lo'ak peek his head over and he slowly came out of his cover revealing himself that he was with them the entire time following them

Hakon: Lo'ak

Lawan: the hell are you doing

Lo'ak: look I know I'm not supposed to be here bur we wanted to help you to stop the infected from reaching other islands

YN: what do you mean by we

Lo'ak: oh uhhh everyone's here guys you can come out

With those words Neteyam Kiri Tuk Tsireya Aonung and Rotxo come out of the brushes

YN: you got to be shity me all of you are here

Neteyam: I know YN this wasn't my idea it was Lo'ak

YN: do any of your parents know you're gone

Tsireya: no we sneak out

Aonung: father and mother are gonna kill us Tsireya

Rotxo: this is a bad idea

Kiri: Ma'YN we want to help you it'll better if we all work together don't you remember what you said no one fights alone

YN looks down and he remembers back to the days when he was commander of the Ghosts and he remember telling his men nobody ever fights alone so now he looks up and nodded

YN: you're right we're a team all of us this happened on my watch and I brought you all into this I'll need help to fix it no one fights alone

Lawan chuckles

Lawan: you're sounding like you're the leader again YN

YN: for now I am okay everybody here's the plan we have to find that cave where a Volatile came out that must be where the nest is now listen carefully we gotta find nest before eclipse arrives before Volatiles come out of their nests making it harder for us now let's move

With that everyone moves in together walking through the infected as the three ghosts ready their weapons for any infected then Aonung had a question

Aonung: YN what's a Volatile

YN: the most dangerous type of infected Volatile's are the apex predator of the night they are extremely deadly and dangerous I've seen train Na'vi lose to a single Volatile but they only come out at eclipse so if you see one hide and get someone safe for the night

Rotxo: and can you say they can have nests

YN: Yes a Volatile can born if a Viral stays in the dark a good amount of time then they turn into a Volatile there are also different types of mutation infected like revenant Demolisher spitter howler Banshee a lot more

Aonung: let's hope we don't encounter them because I don't like the sound of their names

YN: Hopefully

Tuk: YN I find something

YN: Tuk

Everyone goes to Tuk and she's right by a giant rock peeking her head

YN: Tuk

Tuk: look

Everyone peek over the giant rock and they saw a Horde of infected Virals biters even some spitters roaming around then they noticed a Metkayina Vrial being eaten by two other Vrials being torn apart eaten

Neteyam: that's a lot of them

Tsireya: there's so many of them

Hakon: i was right

YN: yeah they're eating each other to survive

Kiri: what do we do

YN: leave this horde alone we came here to find a nest let's move

The group moves on leaving the horde alone and going back to their main focus of finding the volatile nest to destroy it

Lawan: where is that damn nest

YN: I don't know I don't remember let's keep looking if you don't find it before it turns Eclipse we leave and come back here tomorrow

Lo'ak: holy shit yo you guys got to see this

The group follow the sound of Lo'ak voice meaning he found something and when they arrive to Lo'ak they saw something shocking what they were seeing was a old abandoned RDA research lab it was covered in veins meaning it has been abandoned for a long time

YN: holy shit

Hakon: this is a RDA research lab

Lawan: when was this here

They step closer to the abandoned RDA lab looking around seeing it must have been abandoned for decades

Kiri: how long does has been here

YN: by the looks of it this place has been abandoned for years possibly decades

Lo'ak goes to the front entrance of the RDA research lab and he realized that it was half open

Lo'ak: hey the door unlocked we can get in there

Lawan: Lo'ak that's a bad idea do you understand how many bad things might be in there going in a dark zone during the day is a suicide mission

YN: but he's right Lawan we got to get in here and find I don't know a area that contains files that we can learn how the infected got here remember we been into dark zones this is a piece of cake to us

Lawan: alright

YN turns to the Na'vi members of the group

YN: okay everyone listen once we're in there we stay quiet and don't make too much noise going in a dark zone is dangerous since there are volatiles in here and more infected so stay close to us and don't go alone got it

They nodded

YN: good Hakon help me with the door

Hakon: you got it *pat YN shoulder*

YN and Hakon grabbed the door and they began pulling it open it was a little difficult since the door was covered in Vines and they pull as hard as they can to open the door fully once it was open Inside was completely dark YN turn on his flashlight to light up the inside looking around seeing no infected inside

YN: alright let's move

The group slowly step inside the abandoned RDA lab as YN Hakon and Lawon had their flashlights on as they step inside their BioMarkers beep meaning they have entered a dark Zone along with Kiri and Tsireya BioMarkers the group walk in slowly and being quiet to not alert the infected inside having a guard up and aiming the rifles to every entrance point

Tsireya: Ow I step on something

YN pointed his flashlight to the ground seeing broken glass everywhere

YN: be careful broken glass everywhere

Lo'ak: damn You guys are lucky that you got boots on

YN: not our fault that we wear different clothing

Aonung: so what are we looking for here

YN: an area that contains files to learn what the sky people did here and how the infected got here they must have did something here

Tuk: YN look a map

Tuk pointed at a map on the wall but most of it was faded out since it's been there for years but there was something that was still readable and YN looks at the map

YN: let's see armory probably empty storage probably looted already break room useless containment area no go that's a suicide mission wait a minute what's this

YN see a area on the map that underwater test subjects

YN: underwater test subjects

Neteyam: what does that mean

YN: I think they were testing the infected in water

Hakon: what that doesn't make any sense why are they researching them in water

Lawan: yeah that doesn't make sense we know the infected can't swim the only type infected that can swim is drowners but we haven't seen that type infected in years

YN: they were probably researching on drowners here

Rotxo: Drowners

YN: it's a infected that's been in water for a long time we can them Drowners

Rotxo: Drowners okay Drowners

YN: but look at this there's a area in the underwater test subjects area that must have flies there we can take the elevator there

Hakon: but I doubt this place still has power

YN: we can calm down let's go

The group walk though the lab hallways heading to the elevator and they saw the elevator doors that was half open

YN: Hakon help me with this

Hakon: on it

YN and Hakon grab either sides of the elevator doors in the beginning pulling it open and they got it open but the bad news was the Elevator Shaft was flooded with water

YN: fuck the elevator shaft flooded

Tsireya: but we can swim down

YN: no good it's pitch black down there don't wanna get lost down there

Lo'ak: how do we get down here

YN: find the stairs and walk down let's move

The group moves on to finding the stairs to get the underwater test subjects area and find the files what happened here find out how did the outbreak on this happen in the first place as they walk YN goes to Kiri who's looking at her biomarker

YN: you okay

Kiri: yeah just a little worried never been in a dark Zone before and I'm infected and I don't want to stay here for too long

YN: don't worry you're not gonna turn we'll be out of here soon I promise

Kiri smiles

Kiri: I love you

YN: love you too

Kiri kisses him on lips on his mask making YN smile underneath his mask as he goes to Tsireya who looking scared

YN: you feeling okay Reya

Tsireya: I'm just scared I don't want to be here for too long I don't want to turn into one of those things

YN: Reya you won't turn I promise i get it being infected changes your life completely but soon you'll get use it took me a few years to get used to this lifestyle we'll be out of here soon once we get what we need

Tsireya: I'm glad I met you never knew I would see a sky person like you as a great person I thought all Sky people were bad but you you are different

YN: not all humans are bad there are good ones and there are bad ones so me and my people are not the bad ones the bad ones are the RDA

Tsireya smiled and kissed his cheek but YN blush under his mask since that was surprising he looks at Kiri who's smiling since this was a good step of Tsireya being with him

Then the group find the stairs and they walk down to the underwater testing area and once they took a step inside they noticed the area was flooded about like three feet high

YN: this whole flooded be careful you step

As soon as they step inside suddenly lights switch on shocking everyone of how this place still has power

Lo'ak: how does this place still have power

YN: backup generators I guess

They walk through the flooded area looking for a room of that contains files then Aonung walk to a glass wall that has water inside but something caught his eyes it look like something was inside this water containment chamber as soon as he got closer a hand press against the class making Aonung scream in fear backing up but his back pass a button and the door starts started to close

YN: No No No No

He runs to stop it but it was too late the door closes and it locks YN trys pressing the button to open it but door wouldn't open he tries to pull it open but it was sealed shut he growls and kick the door

YN: Fuck

Kiri: Ma'YN what happened

YN: Aonung hit this button and we're locked inside

Lawan: thanks alot of Aonung

Aonung: it wasn't my fault something is in there

Everyone looks at the class wall tries to find anything if there's something in there but nothing was in there just water

Neteyam: nothing in here bro

Then a beep sound was heard making YN Hakon Lawan Kiri and Tsireya looking at their biomarkers seeing they were half red it was their first warning that they are close to turning

YN: shit look we got fine what we need fast and get the hell out of here

Tsireya: how much time do we have left

Hakon: I was say an hour so we got to move fast

Suddenly they heard something coming to them YN signals everyone to hide and they quickly hide behind a old bunch of crates staying quiet not making a sound the footsteps got louder and louder and they saw what was making the footsteps it was a Volatile but it looked different it wasn't a normal volatile it had gills it had fins on it arm and it had a tail it was like a Metkayina Volatile they waited for it go away then it look at them YN quickly aim his rifle but suddenly a noise was heard and the new tybe of Volatile runs to where the noise was made and it was gone

Tuk: it it didn't attack us

Neteyam: it's like it's attracted to sound

Rotxo: so it's blind

YN: possibly for now everyone stay quiet don't make a sound let's go

The group move forward but staying very quiet so they don't attract the new type of volatile since they now know that it is blind and attacks by sound they are moving as fast as they can to find what they needed from here to learn about the past of this lab how the outbreak here started and get out of here before they reach their last moments as normal people they took a right seeing a sign that research files

YN: yes this is it

YN goes to open the door but it wouldn't open it was unlocked but it's still wouldn't open he looks through the small window of the door seen there was a pipe blocking the door

YN: dammit

Lo'ak: what's wrong

YN: there's a pipe blocking the door can't kick it down that'll make too much noise

Neteyam: what about this

Neteyam points to a vent that leads inside to the room but the problem was it was too small none of them could fit in it

YN: no use that vent too small for us to climb in

Aonung: but we have someone who can go through it

He pointed to Tuk

Tuk: Me

YN: No No No Mmmm Mmmm no no no hell no no no no I refuse for Tuk to go in there alone

Kiri: But Ma'YN we don't have much time it's the only way

YN sigh

YN: Fine *kneel to Tuk* okay Tuk look you're crawl though the vent and make it inside and remove the pipe from the door then we'll join you okay

Tuk: okay

YN: alright

YN goes to the vent and rip it open quietly

YN: alright Tuk

He grabbed Tuk and help her up to the vent as she crawl inside and she landed in the other side everyone hope there was no infected in that room then suddenly they heard a gasped from Tuk

Tsireya: oh no

YN: Tuk Tuk Tuk are you okay

Then the door opens and there was Tuk looking a little scared

YN: greatmother you're okay Tuk what happened

Tuk: there are dead bodies in here

YN; at least it's not infected come on guys

The group moves inside the room quietly closing the door behind them and Tuk there are skeletal remains inside this room possibly these bodies have been here for decades and realize there are computers in this room this is a good sign they can go through these computers and find any research files about the outbreak here and what were they really doing here

YN: if the power still works in this place that means these computers might still work

Hakon saw a switch on the wall he went to it and he pulled it down and lights went on slightly lighting out the room just a little not too bright and some of the computers turned on

Hakon: I got the lights in here

YN: that's good now come on go through these computers

YN Hakon and Lawon go to a different computer as the three of them start going through the computers to find any files about this place of how this outbreak started and what were the RDA really doing here and how long this place has been here since there were no records of them having a research lab outside the forest YN goes through the computer going through the files but he wasn't having any luck since all of the files were corrupted

YN: dammit

Hakon: what's wrong

YN: the files on this computer are corrupted can't find anything what about yours Hakon

Hakon: same here files are corrupted

YN: shit

Lawan: I got something here

YN: what did you find

Lawan: you may want to see this

With that everyone goes Lawan computer most of the files in my computer work corrupted but there are two files that were still in good condition they were three videos

YN: Video recordings

Lawan: yeah but here's the thing these were recorded 45 years ago

Hakon: 45 years that was way before the first war happened

Lo'ak: so that means

YN: this outbreak here started at the same time when the outbreak back on the floor started

Neteyam: way before you guys showed up

Lawan clicked on the video and it begins to play what everyone was watching was shocking what was happy on the video was that the RDA in this lab were kidnapping Metkayina to experiment them with the virus and they turn into types of infected that can swim in the water unlike a drowner it's an infected that drowns in the water and adapts the water and becomes a drowner but in the video these type of infected can actually swim without drowning and adapting to the water they are already familiar with the sea and the outbreak started on the same day when the outbreak started back on the forest infected escape and this whole Lab was a bloodbath and it became abandoned and this is where it is today

Aonung: oh greatmother

Rotxo: this is what the Sky people were doing here

Tsireya: they were kidnapping people and they turn them into monsters

Lo'ak; shit that's messed up

Kiri: they were in so much pain they wanted to die they were begging to die

Neteyam: this is so evil of them kidnapping people and turn them into infected

Tuk: so sad

YN growls and clutches his fist

YN: greedy money hungry bastards

Lawan: I hated them but now I hate them even more

Hakon: they are fucking up everything

YN: Lawan play the second one

Lawan click on the second one and saw the date of the recording

Lawan: huh this was recorded months ago

YN: how long

Lawan: like 8 months ago

YN: then someone's been here before us play it

Lawan plays the video and it just shows of a empty room probably one of the other offices of the lab the video just plays for a few minutes and showing nothing but until everyone saw a Na'vi but this Na'vi have red markings on his body and he was carrying a box that belongs to the RDA it was a box of RDA supplies then he looked at the camera it signals

We have been watching you YN Caldwell

The the video ends just like that leaving everyone confused what did that Na'vi who was he and what Clan was he from nobody knows where this type of Na'vi was from never seen a Na'vi with red markings

Lo'ak: who was that

Aonung: I don't know but he didn't look like from our clan or any other clan we know

Tsireya: what did he mean they are watching you YN

YN: I don't know either well there's one more video left Lawan play it

Lawan clicked on the last video but suddenly the video started playing loud static noise making everyone panic

YN: Lawan turn it off

Lawan: I can't

YN moves Lawan and punch the computer screen breaking it and it stopped playing the loud static noise everyone went quiet and they heard of Volatile Roar then suddenly banging was on the door the infected heard all of that and they know where they are

Hakon: they know we're here now

The infected continue banging on the door and by the looks of it it wasn't going to hold for long

Kiri: that's not going to hold for long

YN looks around the room for any way for them to escape before the door was fully destroyed and continue looking and he saw a door on the roof he rush over to it pulling it down but the ladder was broken meaning someone had to boost someone up to get up inside

YN: everyone up here I'll give you a boost quickly hurry

Everyone rush over where YN pointed at and he starts giving everyone a boost up first he did Tuk helping her up inside then he boost Hakon up and then Lawon as Hakon pulled her up and the infected continue banging on the door

Tsireya: YN they are coming

YN: shit

YN boost Neteyam and Lo'ak as Hakon pulled them up then he boost Aonung and Rotxo

YN: Kiri Tsireya quickly

Kiri and Tsireya rush over and YN boost Kiri first and Hakon pull her up as the door was half torn off as the infected stick their hands through the door YN quickly grabbed Tsireya and throw her up and Hakon grabbed her hand pulling her inside and suddenly the door was torn down and the infected rush inside and in front was a sea Volatile running to YN

Hakon: YN come on

YN jump and grabbed Hakon hand and he get pulled inside as be quickly grabbed the upper door closing it as the room turn completely dark all there was inside was just complete darkness the only thing he hear was everyone's breathing and the sound of infected downstairs

Lo'ak: that was a close one bro

Neteyam: yeah close one and terrifying

Kiri: it's dark in here I can't see anything

Hakon: YN you got a Uv flare

YN: yeah I think so

Lawan: everyone just stay calm an- oh okay who just touch my ass

Lo'ak: wait what is that what I'm holding on to

Lawan: Lo'ak get your hand off my ass before I break it

Lo'ak: sorry Lawan

Tsireya: it's dark it's dark I don't want to be in the dark for too long

Aonung: don't worry Tsireya we'll be out of here

Rotxo: yeah just stay calm

Tuk: YN

YN: yeah

Tuk: can i hold your hand

YN: of course you can

Tuk grab his hand

YN turn on a UV flare lighting up the room as he looks down at Tuk level

YN: quite disarming now to find a way out of here

Lo'ak: is it time for jokes bro

Aonung: where are we

YN: some type of Panic or safe room I guess wherever this room is hopefully there's a way out of here cuz going back down there is suicide with the infected down there

Hakon: in the way we came down this area of the base is lock

Tsireya: hey our BioMarkers are fully green now

YN: yeah good thing I brought UV flares with me I only bought three now we got two left

Rotxo: hey I found a map

YN: let me see

YN look at the map but this time it was a much more clear map it wasn't faded away like the one he saw before he looks at the map and saw there was a way to the elevator that will lead to the Upper Floor that will be their way out of here

YN: hey look if we take that path it will take us to the elevator and we can get back to the Upper Floor and get out of here

Neteyam: but wasn't that area flooded

YN: guess we have to swim up

Kiri: how do we get out of this room first

Hakon: found a vent

Hakon finds a vent that was already open

YN: all right let's see where does vent lead us to I know where the path to get out of here

The group crawl inside the vent as YN is behind Tsireya and Lawan is in front holding the Uv flare they continue crawling though the vent as the floor of the vent went into bars that they can see through and under them was an entire horde of infected and by the look of it they were sleeping they crawl quietly to not wake up of the infected underneath them then suddenly a noise was her inside the vents Tsireya gasped backing up and YN hit by her butt in his face

YN: Tsireya

Tsireya: oh sorry

Tsireya blush as they continued crawl though the vents until Lawan saw the end of the vent she drop the Uv flare after the light up a room and there was nothing inside

Lawan: okay it's clear

Everyone drop down the vent and there were in a room of old crates they must be in the old storage room then they started hearing voices nearby the group walk slowly as YN peek over to see there was a Volatile in the process of mutating but he saw it wasa a Metkayina Na'vi warrior turning into a volatile

Metkayina Volatile: It..........Burns..........Mercy

YN: poor bastard

Tsireya: when are we going to do with him

YN: put him out of his misery

YN goes to the suffering Metkayina and he grabbed his last hope Neteyam cover Tuk eyes as YN started slashing the Metkayina Volatile in the head killing it making the warrior finally rest to no longer suffer in pain

YN: (Na'vi) you can rest may you be with Eywa now

YN sigh putting his last hope away turning back to the group

Tsireya: Thank you

YN smile underneath his mask and nodded the group leave the room before looking around and there was no sign of any infected around the infected they walk quietly through the flooded area as they walk they noticed it it was getting deeper which means they are close where the elevators at it got deeper and deeper and deeper then YN felt stairs under him meaning to have to swim now

YN: okay we're on the right path we just have to go forward take a right continue swimming forward then take a left swim forward find the elevator and swim up and we're out of here stay close everyone

Everyone nodded and they all took step in the water where there bodies were underwater they all took a deep breath before going underwater the group swim through the flooded area swimming forward they all stay close together Tuk was on Neteyam back it was good the base still had power lights down here we're on if not they would have swim in complete darkness they swim right continue swimming to the path of the elevator that will lead up to the exit

The group continues on swimming then Hakon look behind him before looking forward but suddenly he shot back and let a out a muffling yell everyone turn back and what saw shock them to see sea Volatile swimming behind them heading straight toward them

YN look behind him seeing two sea Volatile swimming back but they are blind but it seems that underwater they can see perfectly fine

Hakon grabbed his assault rifle and aimed it shooting a grenade from his underbelly shotgun and fired the grenade just floated forward and one of the Sea Volatile's dodge it but the other one was killed by the grenade

The group start to panic and they started swimming in fear as there was a sea volatile right behind them YN quickly push everyone forward giving them a boost to swim faster Tsireya was swimming in fear as the Sea Volatile is right behind her

She swims in fear going faster the sea Volatile roar and it goes to grab her leg but YN tackle to Sea volatile grabbing a grenade pulling the pin and he shove it down the Sea Volatile throat before kicking it away as the grenade goes off and the Sea Volatile head explodes it was dead and it's body just floating in the water leaving a trail of blood behind YN stairs at the body seeing that this was bad news if the infected can now swim and if they get off this island all villages will be attacked by sea infected once they get back to the Village he has to warn Tonowari about this new type of infected he swims back and now the group found the Elevator Shaft and they swim up and they were now on the first floor as they climb up

Lo'ak: they can swim they can swim

Neteyam: bro I know they can now swim

Hakon: that video wasn't lying they can now swim

Suddenly they heard roars of infected heading to work now meaning that I horde is coming

YN: shit run

Hakon: speedy motherfuckers

The group started running for their lives as there is infected right behind them the roars echo right behind them throughout the entire base Volatile's and Virals chase them the group saw the sunlight meeting they found the exit they run faster and run straight through door they are finally now outside but suddenly Tsireya got tackled by a viral and it begins to scratch her but it Roar in pain by the sunlight as she kick it off her and Hakon begin beating it to death with a bat

Hakon: I told you they were speedy motherfuckers

YN help Tsireya back on her feet and then he looked back inside the base seeing a volatile heading straight towards Hakon

YN: Hakon watch out

Hakon move back as the Volatile trys grabbed him but it got hit by the sunlight making of all time Retreat back in the darkness as it roars at the group

The group stay back and Volatile goes back to the darkness making everyone's sigh in relief

Tuk: we made it out

Kiri: thank you greatmother thank you

YN: everyone okay

Lo'ak: bro I am never going into a dark zone ever again

Lawan: well now you know what we deal with everyday

Aonung: everyday you guys do this everyday

Lawan: going to dark zones yeah but we mainly go during the dark so mostly the infected is out but like we said going in a dark zone during the day it's almost a suicide mission

YN: but we have a problem for what we learn in there if the infected can now swim if they find a way off this island they can go anywhere every village would be in danger they can just walk up to any village they want during the night we got to get back to the village and warn everyone

Neteyam: let's go then

The group because running away from the base and heading back to the Village to warn everyone from what they found they run past a muddy area and behind them a hand begins coming out the mud as growls were made the hand twitch then suddenly spikes came out of the arm and a roar is heard
