I could hardly breath as I ran through the forest. I could hear it's footprints behind me. It was catching up to me and I knew it would catch me if I didn't run fast enough.

I rounded a corner and saw a clear path to freedom, but before I could make it there, I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my neck and body. I let out a hiss and flailed my body around to try and get out of his grasp.

I clawed at his arm, but he just kept a tight grip on me.

"Let go of me!" I yelled out.

He let out a groan as he tightened his grip on me. I let out another hiss and tried to bite his arm. Before I could bite into his arm, he grabbed ahold of my hair and tugged it back.

"Will you stop trying to bite me?" A deep voice asked angrily.

My eyes went wide and I froze up.

"Tonowari!" I asked in shock.

"Hello, my love." He said with a chuckle.

Finally I calmed down and caught my breath. He let out a sigh of relief and loosened his grip on me.

"Are you hurt?" He asked as I turned around in his arms.

I shook my head no and he let out a sigh of relief. He gently leaned down and kissed my forehead, a small smile on his face.

"Good, Ronal would kill me if I returned home with you injured." He said with a chuckle.

He picked me up and I let out a squeak.

"Let us go home." He said as he carried me towards the water.

I smiled as I snuggled into his chest, enjoying his warmth.

When we arrived home Ronal was waiting for us, a hand on her stomach.

"My loves!" She exclaimed as she rushed up to us.

Tonowari set me down and she pulled me into her arms.

"Sorry we are late." I said as I hugged her back.

She pulled away from me and turned to Tonowari. She reached up and grabbed a hold of his ear.

"You were suppose to be home hours ago!" She hissed out.

He let out a whine before she turned and grabbed my ear as well. We both whined in pain as she dragged us behind her.

"Ronal!" I whined as she kept a hold of us.

"Sit!" She ordered.

We did as she ordered and she crossed her arms over her chest.

"You sleep here tonight."

"But-"

She held a hand up and walked away from us.

"This is your fault." I mumbled to Tonowari.

He shot me a look and we both set across from each other, frowns on our faces.
