A smile spread across my face as I watched Ronal clean a child's cut.

"You're staring again." She whispered with a small smile.

"Can you blame me? I have the most beautiful mate." I said as I laid my chin on her shoulder.

"(Y/n), I'm working."

"And?"

She shot me a look and I pecked her cheek before pulling away and leaning back against the wall.

I could watch her for hours, in fact I had watched her for hours once. Which ended in Tonowari yelling at me for not hunting.

"(Y/n)!" A voice yelled causing me to jump up.

Ronal sent me a look and I quickly stood up. I pecked her lips once more before rushing out with my spear in hand.

"Must you bother Ronal?" Tonowari asked with a groan.

"Must you bother me?" I asked playfully.

He shot me a look and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Are you ever going to listen to me?"

"Of course I will."

"When?" He asked as I walked past him, a grin on my face.

"When you're right." I said as I dove into the water.

The hunt was over rather quickly and I returned in time to see Ronal cooking. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist, causing her to let out a yelp.

"(Y/n)!" She hissed as she turned around to face me.

"Sorry, my love. I just couldn't help myself." I said as I cuffed her cheeks and pulled her into a kiss.

She let out a hum and gently kissed me back, before pulling away and turning back around.

"How was hunting?"

"Boring, Tonowari lectured me the whole way."

"Are you surprised?"

"Course not." I said as I nuzzled my nose in her neck.

She let out a light laugh and reached up with one hand, which she placed over my own hand.

"I love you, Ronal." I whispered as I closed my eyes.

"And I love you, my darling." She whispered as she leaned back against me.
