"How is it that after all of this time, you still cannot pronounce please?" I ask as I covered my mouth to hold back a laugh.

Quaritch rolled his eyes and turned back to look at me.

"Well what can I say, Darlin. I'm just not a begging man" He said as he walked up to me.

He pulled me to his chest and smiled down at me.

"You know, I am starting to wonder if you were ever a smart one." I said as I drew shapes on his chest.

"Well, I am smart enough to be your mate" Quaritch said as I let out a laugh.

He sent me a cheeky smile and I rolled my eyes as I pushed him away from me.

"Unfortunately, I do not know what I was thinking." I said as I looked up at him.

"You were thinking, 'how did I ever get this, handsome man to be mine?'." He said as he pulled me back to him.

"Perhaps I was drugged?"

"Drugged by your love for me." He said as he leaned down and captured my lips with his.

"Perhaps." I whispered against his lips.

He quickly pulled away and threw me over his shoulder, causing me to let out a squeal.

"Put me down!"

He let out a laugh and carried me to our bed, which he instantly threw me onto. He crawled over me and smiled down at me. He captured my lips with his again and I cuffed his cheeks.

"I love you, Ma Miles." I whispered against his cheeks.
