Cycle cramps & stomach cramps = the same thing.

Lo'ak overeats whilst drunk after his iknimaya and lives to regret it the following day; Tsireya is in the throws of her cycle and the two bond over the pain.

"Reya... my stomach hurts..." Lo'ak groaned for the fifth time that hour. Tsireya let her head fall back against the wall with a small sigh, "And my reply won't change even if you tell me again. You shouldn't have had your dinner, my dinner or your sisters. My dear friend, you are gonna have the stomach pains from Na'ring."

Usually, Tsireya was more considerate to her mate. He'd done this before; eaten too much or not eaten enough and induced sickness from it. Tsireya would hold him and nurse him as he fought through the waves of sickness; even going as far as making herbal remedies for him. But she was on her cycles; and her patience was significantly shorter than usual. Lo'ak turned onto his side and faced her with wide puppy eyes, "Before you even ask, no cuddles. You did this to yourself."

It took her all of two hours to fall victim to his big baby amber eyes.

Tsireya ended up bringing him into her side with an irritated sigh, hoping he'd shut up to give her head a rest. She loved him the apxangrr leaf she kept on her stomach to reduce the cramps she was victim to every cycle. After Lo'ak had used his acting skills to cry (somehow she could smell akula shit) saying about how he wanted you to massage his head, you eventually shut him up by drugging him in essence. She dribbled some apxangrr juice down his throat. "It tastes horrid, but it'll help with the pain,"

It did help with his pain, and his moaning, thank Eywa. Tsireya had finally drifted off to sleep with Lo'ak's hot breath warming her neck when he shifted and ruined the whole mood. Lo'ak groaned again and she sighed, "I swear to Ewya, Lo'ak, if you groan again I will beat you to death with a stick." Lo'ak huffed a laugh but ended in a puffy moan, "I now understand what you go through." Tsireya raised an eyebrow, "Oh?" Lo'ak nodded, "Cycle camps are the same as this." Tsireya scoffed, "As if! No, the are not the same thing. Whatever you're feeling, multiply that by 100 and you're still not close."

A while later found fate testing Tsireya's boundaries. The only time she'd ever envisaged clearing up anything related to vomit was when her future kids threw up.

Not when her mate did.

But, sometime life throws shit at you.

So, there she was. Standing on the sand behind the marui soaking her old chest cover and Lo'ak's old loincloth in water while Lo'ak threw up around 4 tones worth of food just around the hut on the ground. The rain would wash it away later, she thought dismissively. After a few moments with no sound, no groaning in misery, no puke, no grumbling, Tsireya dumped the clothing on the ground and tipped the water over the top. The rain'll take care of that too. The area surrounding was dangerously quiet so she called, "Are you dead?" There was a loud moan, "No, but I wish I was..." Less than 20 minutes later, she and Lo'ak were curled up by the fire in the hut, dozing quietly.

To keep her mind busy, Tsireya weaved some baskets and healed some clothing of hers. After a while, long after the sun had gone down, she could hear deep breathing coming from her left. She smiled softly, sighing quietly as she poked the fire out. Tsireya curled into Lo'ak's side, nuzzling into his ribs, sighing when his arm came around her shoulders.

The both of them fell asleep cuddled in each other's arms.
