Max's P.O.V.

We were in the arena fighting our latest opponents.

"You can do it!"

"Go Zukis!"

I looked behind me and saw my two best friends cheering us on. I love friends...

"Max!" There's a slight splash and I notice Cara in front of me, looking slightly annoyed.

"Keep your head in the game!"

"Sorry. You know Fridays and I are enemies, right? I always have problems on Fridays."

"Well STOP having problems on Fridays!" Justin yelled. "It'll cost us one of these days."

Boy was he right.

We still won the match...

But we weren't doing so well.

Let's just say that Justin got hurt in the shoulders and therefore couldn't use his arms to bend, Cara got hit in the head and now needed help to get around, and I-

"MAX!" 

After a quick hug from Claire, Maddie revealed an analysis.

"You've taken quite the hits, Max. Couple broken bones, cuts, and bruises... and pain is written all over you."

"What are we going to do?!" Claire looked like she was about to die of worry.

"There are medics for this reason." Maddie smiled. I couldn't help but smile as well from the blindness that only she didn't possess. Of course Maddie would remember these things.

So she took the three of us to the healers.

All water-benders of course.

"Three badly wounded benders," Maddie informed the woman at the front. "One with nulled arms, one with a serious concussion and one who seems fataly wounded but is somehow still alive." HEY!

I was then taken into another room and was laid down in water.

I felt this sudden sting course through me and jolted up.

"Relax," someone said. "Let me heal you."

After the time in the water, I felt a lot better.

"Drink this." I was then given some tea.

"Okay..." I drank the tea in silence. "So... what's your name?"

"Serenity. I'm from the Northern Water Tribe. You?"

"I'm Max. Fire-bender from... well... the Fire Nation."

"Nice to meet you. How are you feeling?"

"A lot better since you healed me. Thanks."

"No problem. It is my job after all."

"...you seem nice. Come meet my friends sometime."

"Maybe sometime. Now I do believe I should be getting your release papers now that you're okay."

"Fine by me. Bye!"

She smiled, waved, and then walked out the door. Why is it that I make friends with all kinds of people?
