The next day was an odd one. And a reminder that no matter how much I change.... A lot of it

will Still happen. The next morning Kitara wanted to take Appa to go hunt the captain of the ship that killed her mom. Part of me didn't blame her. I remember how upset I was when each of my parents died. And how much it still hurts... The other part of me felt she was way too harsh

With her brother. I'm sure he loved their mom just as much. And maybe not going on a crazy,

revenge trip was for the best.

After she snapped on Sokka and stomped off I went and found my boyfriend. "Hey," I say

sitting by him as he fiddles with some flowers. "Whatcha making?" I cross my legs criss cross.

or as the schools used to say Indian style. I'd left my hair down for a change. Thankful it was

growing back.

"Huh? Oh, this. I was uh making this flower necklace for you." he says blushing lightly,

which also had me blushing. "Here can I?" as I nod yes in answer turning so he can put it on

me. "It looks really, un-nice on you," he says making me blush more.

"Thanks." It's really pretty. Is it weird in all the time I dated my ex, Jason, and got fancy gifts,

it's a pair of homemade gifts from Sokka that I treasure more. "This is very sweet of you," I add

pecking his cheek, scooting closer to him so he can wrap an arm. "Are you ok?"

"Yes. I'm ok. I know she was just really upset." he says dejectedly. His eyes still sad and hurt.

"Wanna go do something to take your mind off things?" I ask him gently.

"What did you have in mind?" he asks pecking my lips making me smile.

"Let's try some spearfishing," I say standing up as I offer him a hand up which he takes.

"Or we can stay here," he says as he stands to pull me tight against him by my waist. A

surprisingly confident move from him, as he captures my lips, pulling my arms around him.

Mentally I was a melting puddle as I kissed back. It is safe to say I have temporarily completely

forgotten about Kitara. And everyone else. But all good things must come to an end.

"Guys come on cut that out. I'm gonna barf!!!", Toph suddenly says loudly and out of the

blue. Making me and Sokka jump apart startled. A deep blush on both our faces.

"Toph how long were you there!" Sokka scolds as I try to calm my blush. "A little more warning next time."

"I was looking to go raid the snacks. And figured you had them. Then I saw what felt like you

trying to eat Sky's face off with my feet." she says as I blush a darker crimson color if that is possible. As Peek over I get the satisfaction that poor Sokka is blushing just as badly.

"All the gear I have is in camp or near Appa!" Sokka exclaims "Food included! Can't a guy get a little alone time with his girlfriend on an island or peninsula thingy."

"Nope. Not as long as my feet can see what you're doing with my feet.". Toph says so bluntly. I busted out laughing. It started with a giggle and turned into full-blown chuckles.

"It was just kissing!" Sokka shouts then stops as he sees me laughing, "what's so funny.."

"Your faces," I say still laughing.

"You know if you weren't healing still from getting hurt. I'd blast you into the lake." Toph says "but I have to admit your guy's reactions to being caught was pretty funny too." as she changes to a goofy smirk making me roll my eyes.

"You talk like you caught us doing more than kissing," I say chuckling in amusement.

"What more is there than mmmph," Toph says when Sokka covers her mouth quickly.

"Let's not go there Toph," Sokka says blushing really darkly as he holds his hand over it.. "Hey, ewe you licked me." as he whines, and releases Toph.

"It must be pretty bad cause Sokka's heart rate just went crazy fast," Toph says...

"Let's just say that will probably have to wait until our wedding night," Sokka says his voice squeaking, still blushing.

"Anyways let's go get them a snack,"I say blushing myself as I start back toward the tents.

Hours later Katara would take off with Zuko. I swear stuff like this was what partly got all the Zutaro shippers going. We would try to keep occupied until they got back.

Mostly storytelling from Suki. When Zuko returned minus the water bender. I knew it was time to move camp... Soon we were packing up and going to Ember island.

As Aang was off training with Zuko I was trying to think of ways not to see the play. Sokka had gone to town with Suki to get food as I was practicing my own bending. And at the same time, I still had not figured out around it. Honestly, I hated how the episode ended.

But before I knew it Sokka was back. And we were off being dragged to watch this horrible play.

I used a scarf to hide the hair on my head since it alone made me stand out like a sore thumb as I followed the others to a seat. I took a deep breath and waited as the play started.

And there it was. Katara, Sokka, and an insane cat lady version of myself. Minus the cats.

As the fake Katara and Sokka bemoaned their fates, Mine was complaining about her lack of clothing in the middle of the arctic. Making me wonder... Who the heck they really talked to.

"Oh hey look it's Ice." the other me says licking the block before the girly Aang busted out of it.

Sokka meanwhile was laughing pretty hard at himself, as was Suki and Toph.

Zuko was pretty grumpy, Not that I could blame him They had a horribly whiney version of him. It was way worse being here to see it then seeing it on my tv at home. I think only Sokka, and Toph was happy with the on-stage personas. And the intermission couldn't come fast enough. I was already overseeing the fake me act like a deranged psychopath. She even suggested eating a baby... Like what the heck are they smoking?

On the way to sit outside Sokka catches my arm. "Hey are you ok?" he asks concerned.

"Do I really come off like that. I'm worse than a female King Bumi.", I ask...

"No.. You are not. You're a lot of things they miss. Your beautiful, intelligent and feisty. All the things I love about you. " he says trying to make me feel better as relaxes pulling me closer to him.

"Thank you, Sokka," I say softly as I hug him lightly. "You know how about you watch the rest of the play while I wait out here?"

"Nope, nope, and Nope. Every time I let you out of my sight, without a chaperone, you end up in some crazy danger. And even though the play got you inaccurate... It did get right a lot of things you did that I did not know about. " he says looking me in the eye. "Now I know the spirits won't let you tell me anything. But I can best keep you safe by not letting you wander off alone. So let's go see the rest of the show. And if you put up with the rest of it with me, we can have a bonfire on the beach later." he says giving me the look. And by the look I mean look that means business.

"When if you are not in a mood for a bonfire later?", I ask knowing how this play ends. My eyes studying him as he scratches his chin like he's thinking really hard.

"Then I'll owe you a really super awesome fantastic date planned by yours truly," he says puffing his chest out as he points his thumb to himself cockily making me laugh.

"Ok deal. I will sit through this horrible telling of our story, and this deranged version of myself and in return, you owe me a date." I say poking his chest.

"Deal. And if it gets better or is not as bad as you think it'll get." he says smugly.

"Oh trust me I'm sure the ending is a doozy." I say as I let him lead me to our seats again.

I've been dealing with health issues, and other things that have interfered with me writing and posting. Now these are chronic , rest of my life health issues.
