The lands of Avaris are vast in nature. To the north is the icy terrain of Kōri, To the south the sweltering volcanoes of Sunog, To the east the rugged hills of Toprak, To the west the islands of Mizu, and, in the center of them all, soars the lofty lands of Oro, or more commonly referred to as the Kingdom of the Dragon King.

            The Dragon King was once a noble Prince like any other. He was destined to become the King of a land tormented by dragons. Or so the legend says. Now you may think that dragons are mere myths and the people of Avaris would probably agree. For no one has seen a dragon is the skies of Avaris for nearly one thousand years. Yet the people still cling to the traditions and legends of the old days, because the Dragon King's daughter Valora still lives. Slumbering peacefully in the Shrine of Oro, she prepares for the day she is to awaken.
