The pains were hurting badly but I didn't want anyone to think I wasn't okay. I'm tired of not being okay and I'm tired of people thinking I'm not.
Plus Austin is happy, and I can't do that, it'll ruin the entire freaking night. The night will turn from happy to nightmare within seconds. Then again, he's my date...I should be telling the truth, he'd understand, wouldn't he? How can I know...it's not li-
"HOLY #&$%, OWWWW" I yelped loudly and was bent over holding my back.
Austin looked at me as though if he was a scared, but worried too.
"Hey its okay...everyth-"
"Son of a #$&#&" I muttered as I gagged.

I got up quickly and ran through the crowd to get to the bathroom.
"Ava!!!" Austin shouted

I ran in the bathroom stall and barfed...but then something was poking out my...back.
I glanced back and saw my shoulder blades which were much bigger than usual shoulder blades were popping out and right on top of them were what looked like some type of bone.

At this point I thought I was about to pass out, but my shoulder blades kept stretching outward. The pain was so real.
I heard Austin banging on my stall. Wait...did he seriously just enter the girls bathroom?! EWW...
"Ava are you okay?!?" He shouted
Oh, he came in because he thought I was dying...how sweet.
I grunted and tried to stand, but my shoulder blades were taking over. I soon felt a rip in my skin and to be honest I'm very grateful that I went in the biggest stall.

I felt more rips, my eyes were huge at this point. Their was so many rips that it made me close my Brown eyes and tears rolled down my face. I soon didn't feel anymore rips so I glanced back and saw the most shocking thing ever...dark brown wings with some black primary feathers.
To be honest though, I feel as though I might pass out.
I couldn't focus my eyes, and I felt light headed.
Just as fast as you can say oof, my wings went into their slits and I passed out, but even though I was passed out I could still hear people's voices.
