I was meeting Ava's parents for the first time.

"What if they don't like me?" I whispered looking up to her.

She laughed and gave me a soft kiss on my head.

"Don't worry" she said "They will"

Then she knocked on the door.

My heart started racing and I started to shake when I heard footsteps.

"Coming!"

After a few seconds, her mother opened the door. Her face grew into a huge smile when she saw me.

"Hello" I said politely, extending my hand. She shook it and studied me from head to toe. I started getting nervous.

"So" she said "You're the pretty girl that has my daughter constantly smiling at her phone?"
