Light filtered through the doorway. Fall was curled up and cuddling with Autumn.

Autumn's eyes flitted open and she jumped up at the sight of the rising sun.

"Oh no!"

Fall opened his eyes and looked at her. "What's wrong?"

"I have to go. Grizelda must be worried sick!"

Autumn headed up the stairs.

"Wait!"

Autumn turned around.

"When can I see you again?" Fall asked.

"Tonight, by the fence again?" she suggested.

"Deal!" Fall padded up to her and licked her muzzle before she said "goodbye" and flew off.

"AUTUMN! WHERE WERE YOU?!!"

Grizelda was hysterical. She looked shaken up, and Ursula was gone.

"I was just out. I couldn't sleep," Autumn lied. "What happened?"

Grizelda was too upset, so Toko stepped forward. "Ursula went missing. We thought you both were together, but I guess not."

"We're going to leave here in a week and she goes missing?" Maverick said.

Autumn had heard the bears talk about this. When cubs got to a certain age, they went off on their own. They were going to leave in a week and Ursula went missing.

Autumn rushed to Ursula's nest. All that was there was a tuft of her light brown fur and-a wolf claw!

"Scarlet," Autumn whispered to herself. Scarlet had Ursula, or killed her.

Autumn padded back over to Grizelda and put her tail on her big back. "It's alright. I'm sure she's fine," Autumn comforted, but Grizelda only got more upset.

"She's never coming back!! She's probably dead! You hear me?! DEAD!!"
