Jacob came to visit me everyday and it was annoying. He constantly took advantage of the fact that I could barely move. But today, I start rehab. This is good. The nurse helped me get dressed and I was very sore.

Nurse: It's okay, Ms. Summers. You did good today.

Autumn: Thank you Elizabeth..

I smiled at her. If you remember, my name.. My full name is Autumn Elizabeth Summers. I know.. Ironic, right? When I got back to my room, he was sitting there and waiting for me.

Autumn: Why are.. Why are you still here?

I said as I winced in pain while trying to lay back down. He didn't move and for a while, he remained silent. Then suddenly, he slowly began to speak.

Jacob: I want to tell you something..

He slowly looked up at me and his face seemed serious.. As if he had put a lot of thought into this talk that we were about to have.

Jacob: You said you were pregnant with my child.. I feel like I owe you a lot because if I hadn't been a jerk to you, our child might still be here..

Autumn: But they're gone, Jacob. The child is gone.

Jacob: You don't think I know that?

He shouted as his eyes began to form tears that refused to fall.

Jacob: Sometimes.. Autumn, sometimes I just wish that I could turn back the hands of time so that I could just experience what being a father to my first child would've been like.. I wish that the kid didn't die or that I could've gotten to hold him just one good time.. At least.. Autumn, this is just me as Jacob Latimore.. The sincere Jacob Latimore apologizing to you and our unborn child for all the things that I've done to you..

He bit his lip as he made a fist. I guess he was trying to figure out how to be rid of all of his frustrations in one sentance.

Jacob: I want to make things right this time. I don't want to die leaving a bad legacy behind like my old man.. I want to make something out of my life. Okay? I'm serious this time.

I looked away as I shook my head.

Autumn: Your words mean nothing to me. I am sick of your lies and my heart being broken Jacob. If you really mean what you say and want my trust back, you must earn it and prove it.. Prove to me that you're worthy of anything that involves me.

He nodded as he stood up and slowly leaned over my bed where I resided. He looked my dead into my eyes for what seemed like forever and then caught me off guard with an attempt to kiss me. I pushed him away.

Autumn: No. You have to earn that and everything else. You can't just get it.

To my surprise, he had nothing smart to say and just nodded as he sat back down with his head resting in his hand. My curiosity got the best of me during the akward silence..

Autumn: Are you and Hellen still together?

Jacob: Would I have kissed you if we were?

Keep in mind.. Because of his character, this is not a dumb question.

Autumn: You tried to kiss me.. and I don't know, with you.

Jacob: Whatever man..

Autumn: Coming from the guy who took my virginity and then gave me a slap in the face the very next day. Yeah, okay..

Jacob was furious and glared at me.

Jacob: One day I will show you.. and on that day, you won't be going anywhere..

He said before getting up and leaving the room. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

Autumn: Yeah right.. Like he's really gonna do something..

Jacob: You bet I will.

He said, popping his head back in and winking at me.

Autumn: What the hell? I thought you left!

Jacob: Did I say I was leaving?

Autumn: I wish..

I mumbled. Jacob just laughed.

Jacob: Oh come on, Autumn. Don't be like that. You're still the beautiful girl that I fell in love with.

Autumn: You don't know love, nor will you ever if you keep fucking around like you've been doing..

Jacob: The only fucking around that I've been doing lately is mind fucking.

I gave him a grossed out look and slowly looked away from him.

Autumn: Nasty ass.. I didn't ask for all of that, now..

Jacob: No need to because you're the one I'm fucking.

My head shot up at him.

Autumn: Get the fuck out of here! You are so nasty! Just.. Get out of my sight!

He continued to laugh and smile at me as I sat there in disappointment with my arms crossed.

Autumn: I said get out!

Jacob: And I say, no.

Autumn: NOW, JACOB!

He came close to my face and grinned.

Jacob: Make me.

He knew that I couldn't do anything, but I just had to try. I tried to push him, but he grabbed my arms and pushed me down onto my bed. Then he held me down until he was sure that I was calm.

Jacob: Come on Autumn. Do it.. Do it! Get me out of your sight!

Autumn: Get the fuck out of my face, you damn bastard!

Jacob: Make me..

I glared at him and we stayed like that for a while, until he said..

Jacob: That's what I thought..

He removed himself from my personal space and disappeared somewhere that I didn't know or even care, for that matter. All I knew was that, at that point, all I wanted was for Jacob to be dead. Out of my life. Done for good..

Autumn: I'll kill you.. And when I do, I'll make it look like a suicide.

Jacob: Says the one who's in a hospital bed. Listen up, Princess. Why don't I challenge you to a game.

Autumn: What kind of game?

I said as I rolled my eyes at him with my arms crossed.

Jacob: I try to make you fall in love with me and convice you that I've changed before you, quote on quote, kill me..
