I went inside the house in a rush and grabbed some clothes out of my drawers. When I turned around, I saw Helen sitting on my bed and looking at an old picture of us.. I forgot to put that away somewhere..

Helen: So.. You still have this picture of us?

It was a picture of us on our way to the Grand opening of Young Fly's club. The photographer took a shot of us while I was the only one ready for the photo and Helen was just happy to get out the house.

Jacob: Yeah.. You can have it if you want.

I really didn't want her to because I still liked the picture..

Helen: Thanks but.. It's yours.

I nodded and went into the shower after a while of just standing there.

Jacob: Well, I'm just gonna go take a shower. Autumn is waiting on me for our date.

She nodded and pretty soon, I could see the tears falling down onto the picture. Geez, this girl is getting to me. I closed the door immediately in order to avoid staying longer than I had planned. When I got in the shower, things only got worst because I began to think about Helen. Will she be safe while I'm away? Will they find her again? Is she stable enough to stay here alone? There's only one way to find out and that is too big of a chance to take right now.. Let me just call Autumn again.. I thought. Then when I got out, I called Autumn, but she went straight to voicemail again. What is it with this woman and not answering the phone?

"Hey, this is Autumn. Sorry I couldn't answer your call, but if you leave a brief and detailed message, I'll get right back to you." Beep!

Jacob: Hey Autumn, um.. It's me again. I was calling to confirm our date tonight. Forget what I said earlier. Dress up but not too much, okay? I have a great surprise for you that I know you'll love. Alright. See you soon.. Love You.

I hung up with a sigh and went outside of my room again.. Apparently I forgot to grab a shirt to go along with my shorts.

Helen: Man I miss that..

I heard Helen mumble.

Jacob: Huh?

Helen: What?

Jacob: What did you just say?

Helen: Oh.. It's nothing.

Jacob: You sure?

Helen: Yeah..

I shrugged and put on my shirt. Then, when my sight had returned to me, I realized that Helen was in another pair of her pajamas.. Grey sweats with a black line going down the sides and a black lace bra to match. Her hair was somewhat curly and framing her face perfectly.. She looked just like a dream girl from a movie or your wildest dreams.. The kind that would do you so wrong, you feel it's right.

Helen: Jacob!

Jacob: Huh?

I snapped out of it.

Helen: Did you hear me?

Jacob: Nah, I'm sorry. What'd you say?

Helen: I asked where you guys were going for your date tonight.

Jacob: Why?

Helen: I was just wondering..

She was pulling my strings with the soft voice and the sad puppy act. She turned over and I sighed.

Jacob: I was taking her to the movies and for a nice dinner afterwards..

Helen: Oh.. That's nice..

Jacob: Helen, just say it.

Helen: Say what?

Jacob: Something's on your mind. Tell me what it is.

Helen: It's nothing, honest..

Jacob: Helen Amber Miller..

Helen: Fine.. It's just that.. The only time we ever went out was when we went to clubs or parties and.. She seems to be making you haply.

Jacob: She is.

Helen: Does she know that you can sing?

Jacob: She found out three days ago.

Helen: Well, my suggestion is to sing to her at some point. What kind of place are you eating at?

Jacob: Just a regular and nice dinner place.

Helen: Scratch that. Take her somewhere where they have open mic night and sing to her.

Jacob: Helen, that'll take me forever! Where in the world am I going to find an open mic place on such short notice?

She smiled.

Helen: Oh, Jakey Bear. Just leave that one up to me.

She pulled out her phone and dialed a number. Then after a time, she ended the call and looked back at me, smiling.

Jacob: So?

Helen: It's a done deal. I'll text you the address later.

I smiled and hugged her.

Jacob: Thank you so much, Helen.

Helen: No problem. Autumn is sure to love it.

When I pulled back from the hug, I saw her dress ware once more and I couldn't stop looking at her lips and then it almost happened. I was a milimeter away from her lips when I got a text from someone. It was Autumn..

"Hey, J. Sorry I wasn't answering your calls.. I forgot to charge my phone last night and.. Yeah.. See you when you get here!" ~Autumn

I sighed and rubbed my face with my hands.

Jacob: Okay, Helen. I have to go. Be good and don't be having parties while I'm gone.

Helen: Shut the fuck up and go.

She laughed. I smiled at her and left. I hopped in the car and couldn't bring myself to look at Julius.

Julius: So, how'd it go?

I looked down at my hands..

Jacob: It was.. It went well, actually. She even helped me reserve a place to eat at for our date tonight.

Julius: Are you sure that she's trustworthy for that type of stuff?

I was about to answer him when my phone went off and flashed it's lights, alerting me that I had just gotta a text. It was from Helen.

"Hey, Lova-Boy. Here's the address.

Hav fun, bt not 2 much fun!" ~Helen

I smiled down at my phone and nodded after a time.

Jacob: Yeah.. Everything is cool.
