While I was on my way to drop Autumn off, I got a text from Helen asking me to come over. I ignored it and just as I was about to kiss Autumn goodnight, my phone began to ring..

Jacob: Dammit.. Just ignore it.

Autumn: No Jacob. What if it's your mom?

Jacob: It's worth it. You're more important to me right now..

Autumn: No, Jacob. Just go ahead. I'll always be here. There will be other nights, okay?

I answered the call and quickly kissed her goodbye.

Jacob: I Love You, baby. See you tomorrow!

I said as I ran to my car.

Jacob: Yo.

Helen: Hey.. Um, Jacob?

I groaned.

Jacob: What? What is it woman?

Helen: Do you think that maybe you can come over?

She didn't sound normal, but I dismissed it.

Jacob: For what? Look, if you need to talk, I'm here. Ain't no need for me to be wasting my gas when we can just talk while I'm on my way home!

I heard her sniff and I knew then that this was not a good sign at all.

Helen: Jacob.. I just.. I'm scared..

I pulled over so that I could brace myself for what was next.

Jacob: Helen, tell me what the hell is going on right now.

I demanded. She became really silent and it took her a while to gain her thoughts.

Helen: They're back Jacob and I'm scared.. I'm just so scared.. They found me and I don't know how they did it but they did!

She began to cry harder than before and I instantly became furious. Hitting the wheel, I took a deep breath and grabbed hold of the phone before answering her.

Jacob: Helen.. Helen, listen to me. Stay right where you are. Pack your stuff. You're coming with me.

Helen: No, Jacob. I don't want-.

Jacob: Helen! Hel-Hel-Helen.. Get up and pack your shit. You're coming with me. Alright?

She knew that I was serious. I guess that I'll just have to explain everything to Autumn later.. And that's if she even finds out..

Helen: Okay..

Jacob: I'm coming to get you, so just hold tight.

I rushed over to her house and knocked on the door.

Jacob: Helen.. Helen, it's me.

Helen: Jacob?

Jacob: Yes, it's me.

She opened the door and grabbed hold of me like her life depended on it.

Helen: Jacob, I'm so glad you came. I'm so sorry.

Jacob: Hey, hey. It's okay. My job is to protect you, okay? So don't you worry about anything.

Helen: Okay..

She nodded as I held her face in my hands. I kissed her forehead and hugged her before telling her to get in the car. I grabbed her stuff and put it in the car.

Jacob: What are you doing?

Helen: Seeing about places that I can stay. I can't stay with you forever. Autumn definately wouldn't approve.

Dammit.. She's pulling your finger, Jacob! Do something!

Jacob: Listen here. This is a serious situation and I don't give a damn about what Autumn or moms or what anybody else has to say in what I do. You need help and a place to stay and I say that you can stay until things get better for you. Okay?

Helen: Okay.. Thank you, Jacob..

Jacob: No thanks is necessary. This is just me helping you out as a friend.

She smiled at me and pretty soon, we were at my house. She made herself comfortable in my bed with her shorts and sports bra on. She was so beautiful but those bastards beat her, bruised her beautiful skin and tried to ruin her soul. I swear, when I find them, I'll kill them. I laid down next to her and pull the covers over her. She began to stir and grabbed hold of me.

Helen: Jacob..

Jacob: Shh..

I shushed her and held her close. Pretty soon, she was sleeping soundly on my chest and I was up plotting a murder..

I hate that bitch. Honestly, I had to think of something. Yes, my ex came over trying to rub me up and ended up beating me, but I stabbed his ass and he left. But this ain't over..
