The ride home was so embarrassing. Trevor wouldn't let me live that moment down for half the ride, which made it twice as long. Then when he finally did stop, he just sat there smiling for the rest of the ride. When I got home, I was so glad to get out of his car. The only bad thing is that he followed. I had finally gotten the door unlocked and turned around to face him.

Autumn: Thanks Trevor for that wonderful and very embarrassing evening with Diggy.

He kept smiling as he sighed and rolled his eyes.

Trevor: Well, it was a pleasure to make you blush.

He pinched my cheek and I scrunched up my nose. I hate that.

Autumn: See you later, I guess?

Trevor: Yeah.

I went to open the door but he stopped me.

Trevor: Whoah wait. No goodnight kiss?

Autumn: Trevor..

I whined.

Trevor: Come on. You ain't gotta pretend. You can kiss this sexy ass face if you want to.

I looked him up and down and then shook my head.

I laughed as I opened the door. He grabbed my hand and lifted my chin.

I half smiled as I sighed.

Autumn: Trevor, I.. I really do like you, but I can't right now..

Trevor: No, see you've got it all wrong. It's just payback from last night.

Autumn: Didn't you already do that tonight?

Trevor: Do I have your permission?

I smiled.

Autumn: If you really want to, Trevor, then just do it. You don't have to beg.

He smiled and kissed me. I didn't expect him to go for my lips, but that just made my night even better.. Until I realized that we were illegal.. But that realization happened only after the fact..

I said, still in a daze. He smiled and walked to his car as I entered the house. I could hardly sleep because of it. In the morning, I woke up extra early and called Nicole.

She said in a groggy tone.

She hung up and I threw on my African skirt with a black shirt and black tenni-shoes. My hair had already grown out a lot since I got it cut, so I wore it down in loose curls. The doorbell rang and I was excited until..

Jacob: Yeah.. I came to return some stuff you left over my house and to say a few words..

Autumn: Jacob, I told you that if you ever came here, I'd kill you.. You have five minutes to convince me that this was worth your life.

Jacob: Okay. Autumn, I haven't been the same without you and I know I messed up big time but I'm here to say this.. I've been thinking about us and what I've done to you and now I see what you mean about me being a boy. I was a boy because I didn't have a man in my to show me how to be a good man. And by that, I mean my father. Now that he's back, he's been helping me and his advice works. It's changing me and most importantly, it's made me realize what I had. You're the best thing that I've ever had going for me and I can't lose you.. And I'm guessing that the only left to say is what I've been doing so far.. Autumn: Whoah whoah whoah whoah. What? She stayed in your house? For what?!

He held his hands up in defense.

Jacob: Autumn, baby. Please let me finish.

Autumn: No! No wonder why she's pregnant! That is yours and you know it cause I know you and how you are about people coming up in your house! You'd kill her and the nigga that knocked her up if she did have a dude there, which she wouldn't if she has common sense, unlike you.

Jacob: I get it, but listen. She only stayed because of a threat.

Autumn: A threat?

Jacob: Yes! They were gonna kill her!

Autumn: Don't you see this? She was try'na trap you! She played you! If somebody was after her, why would you put yourself in danger by letting her stay there?

Jacob: Because I-.. Because that's the right thing to do..

Autumn: Wow. Fine.. Continue with your story..

Jacob: Its not a lie this time. It's the truth. And the truth is that I'm still in love with you!

Autumn: Well too bad because you know there's a saying that goes along with your character.. It says that you never know what you've got until it's gone.. And my love is gone honey. It's long gone. So, shoo fly.

I said as I walked into the kitchen. He followed me in there. Does this fool ever learn?

Jacob: Autumn, please just give me one more chance!

I already had a knife in my hand because I was cutting up an onion for later. I turned around with the knife in my hand and had it pointed towards him like a finger, only difference being that of this knife touched him, it'd draw a lot of blood.

Autumn: Now you listen to me you crazy fool, I gave you one chance and you blew it. Then I gave you one more chance and you fucked that up too. So you're running out I of time cause you've been here for about three minutes and you still haven't convinced me why coming here was a good reason to risk ya life. Cause I'll tell ya boy, if you don't start talking, when the clock starts singing that your five minutes is up, I'm gonna enjoy gutting you like a fish if I ain't convinced.

He nodded and then kissed me. I pushed his away and wiped my mouth.

Autumn: What the fuck, Jacob?! I don't know where your lips have been!

Jacob: Then you might as well do it! Because I Love You and I sho as hell ain't leaving here without my girl.

Autumn: Fine. Sit down and I'll do the rest.

Jacob: No. You gotta catch me first and I ain't running out this house either. So the door is out of the question.

My hand began to twitch and he just smiled then ran. I just waited. I wasn't bout to chase this nigga. Not in my house. I sat on the couch and waited for Nicole as long as I could and just before I got to my boiling point, the door opened.

Nicole: Hey Aut-.. What's wrong?

Autumn: Nicole, grab a knife. We've got some work to do..
