The Hyphen-Hybrid

A grammatical link was on its maiden-flight

It was the first penmanship to punctuate-space

The method was in plain-sight

For hundreds of years, it provided the path of least resistance

Lips of love, praise it as the 'Great-Conjunctive'

In a future where it's used to space-jump from world to world

It is written in the annuals of ancient Earth-History

That this was the final-link in the communication-chain

Where space-time had joined to make the ultimate- decision

For all the worlds-words, to come together

Creating one-word, one-language, under one-sun

And as the book-of-man closes, we finally share a common-tongue
